Wisconsin Assembly Set to Approve Limits on Unions

MADISON, Wis. — As thousands of demonstrators converged on the Capitol, the police cut off access to the building on Thursday, creating a taut atmosphere in which Republican State Assembly members were seeking to maintain order long enough to vote on a bill that sharply curtails bargaining rights for government workers.

The State Assembly had been scheduled to vote on the bill Thursday morning. Though it is virtually certain to pass, it was now unclear when that vote might take place.

The State Senate approved similar legislation Wednesday with only Republican members casting votes; the chamber’s Democratic minority, who fiercely oppose the measure, remain out of the state.

By preventing people from entering the capitol building Thursday morning, the police also denied entry to legislators, including at least two Democratic Assembly members — David Cullen and Elizabeth Coggs.

Wisconsin Assembly Set to Approve Limits on Unions

I have said it before and I WILL say it again, UNIONS, and those that support them, are the most despicable scumbags that this earth has spawned to date! I don’t cull ANY union from that list either.

I am a HUGE supporter of Law Enforcement, I think that is a known fact, but I have NO USE for Police unions, any public service person that would even consider walking off of the job is beneath contempt. That applies 10 times over to teachers. The are entrusted with the safety and education of our most valuable resource, our children.

For far too long, those teachers have abused the trust we gave them and have long used their classrooms as indoctrination stations as opposed to learning centers for reading, writing, math and the vast myriad that an education should cover.

When you this, or any other UNION logo, you had best be prepared for the CRIME and violence that comes from the person that believe their union masters screed of ‘we’re just doing it for the members, we have nothing for ourselves’ because THAT is a LIE of the 1st order.

It’s not just teachers, or cops, or SEIU, it’s ALL unions and ALL union leaders.

Within hours of the Senate vote, union leaders from Wisconsin and across the nation condemned the action.

“Senate Republicans have exercised the nuclear option to ram through their bill attacking Wisconsin’s working families in the dark of night,” said Phil Neuenfeldt, president of the Wisconsin State A.F.L.-C.I.O.

Look into the history of the AFL-CIO and the Teamsters. Violence, strong-arm tactics, violence, murder, corruption. These are not isolated incidents, these are known methods that unions use to do business. That is, to force their way on you, and make YOU pay for the screwing you’re going to take.

Mr. Neuenfeldt asserted that the Republicans had also violated Wisconsin’s open meetings laws. “Tonight’s events have demonstrated they will do or say anything to pass their extreme agenda,” he said.

Neuenfeldt is a MORON.

The Wisconsin government has done everything within their power to FORCE one thing, to force the union supporting Democrats that ran away, ran out of state to avoid being defeated in open meeting to return and serve in their elected positions and DO their jobs.

But, it appears that people like Neuenfeldt can’t accept the truth and the responsibility that their people hold in this matter, Neuenfeldt and Company have to try and blame the GOP lawmakers that stayed, and stood their ground, doing the job they were elected to do.

Gov. Scott Walker, a Republican whose efforts to diminish collective bargaining rights have placed him firmly in the national spotlight though he has been in office less than three months, applauded the Senate’s move on Wednesday night, and said it brought the state a step closer to balancing its budget.

“The action today will help ensure Wisconsin has a business climate that allows the private sector to create 250,000 new jobs,” Mr. Walker said in a statement released minutes after the Senate action, which was not widely expected.

I too applaud the Wisconsin Senate and Gov. Walker for having the BALLS to stand up to these union crooks, thugs, goons, leftists, socialists and all around moonbats!

Now, all we have to do is get the rest of America this motivated!

Democrats, meanwhile, condemned the move as an attack on working families, a violation of open-meetings requirements (because most of them were not aware that the vote was to be held until shortly before it happened), and a virtual firebomb in a state already polarized and consumed with recall efforts, large-scale protests and fury from public workers.

Democrats, as a whole, have NO idea what working for a living is all about. Sure, there are some good people that claim the Democratic label, but I don’t know why they do. The Democrats have long supported labor unions, welfare, socialism and, oh yeah, The Klan.

But it’s OK, they only have the best interest of America in their hearts.

Finally there is HOPE FOR CHANGE! Walker held his ground, the republicans in WIS. Held firm and the people of Wisconsin were done proud by their actions. Alternatively:

The Democrats shamed themselves and their constituents by their actions.

However; as with all things liberal/progressives do, they now have opened the door to incivility again. (That didn’t take long huh?) They have set a precedent that it’s okay to run away from a vote if you don’t like it. And it’s okay to “Target” the “enemy” and “Assault” the homes of those you don’t agree with… Good job liberals, but you may have swatted a hornets nest… Good luck

What Walker and the Republicans did yesterday pales in comparison to the antics of former Gov. Jim Doyle and his henchmen. Talk about “ramming bills through in the dark of night”. Doyle was one of the reasons we now live in TN. WI dems now get to know that “elections have consequences”, to quote Obongo :)

RIGHT ON FRED!!!! Preach it Brother!

If you want to see what unions have done to America, take a trip to Detroit. Unions are the reason many industries have left this country and headed to Mexico or China.

Democrats years ago gave these public employee unions sweetheart deals in exchange for money and votes. These politicians knew full well that when it came time to pay off, they would be long out of office and in a cushy job for the union.

There are some union thugs saying anyone who votes Republican should die. I guess we didn’t stock up on guns and ammo for nothing.
