Mexican soldiers cross into U.S. chasing U.S. citizens

El Paso, Texas - A Mexican Army Humvee with a machine gun and several soldiers on foot entered into the U.S. through the Columbus Port of Entry early Saturday morning.

The incident happened at about 2:35 a.m. Saturday when the Mexican soldiers were chasing three U.S. citizens, according to Customs and Border Patrol spokesperson Roger Maier.

The group of soldiers was confronted by CBP inspectors and the soldiers quickly turned around on orders from one of their officers.

A few minutes later, a Mexican Army commander arrived and apologized to the U.S. inspectors, claiming the soldiers had been pursuing a car that ran one of their checkpoints just south of the border.

The three U.S. citizens and their vehicle were inspected by CBP and the trio was allowed to continue into the US.

I have NO idea why American citizens were in Mexico at that time of night. Well, actually, that’s not an entirely true statement. I do have an idea, but I will not engage in speculation.

I do need to ask though, WHY hasn’t this story been seen in the MSM?

The main focus of MY post is about the dangers of going to Mexico, living along the Mexican border and the threats faced by Americans here in the USA, from Mexican drug dealers, and the Mexican army itself.

The U.S. State Department issued a travel advisory for Americans who visit Mexico, citing Ciudad Juarez as a hotbed of criminal activity. A large Mexican metropolis in Chihuahua State bordering El Paso, Texas, Juarez is Mexico’s deadliest narcotics-war zone with two criminal gangs fighting for power – over city streets and drug-smuggling routes into the United States. SOURCE

For most people, that above notice would be all it took, a word to the wise, so to speak.

Apparently, wise is something that a lot of Americans are not. If they were, they wouldn’t be going to Mexico, and there would be a massive cry to secure the border.

“A Nation Without Borders Is Not A Nation” — Ronald Reagan

It may already be too late. Our borders are a moot point at this time, the infiltration has already taken place. We may very well be compromised by the enemy within! Even the great Ronald Reagan screwed the pooch on the ILLEGALS and amnesty issue.

The Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA), also Simpson-Mazzoli Act (Pub.L. 99-603, 100 Stat. 3359, signed by President Ronald Reagan on November 6, 1986) is an Act of Congress which reformed United States immigration law. The Act made it illegal to knowingly hire or recruit illegal immigrants (immigrants who do not possess lawful work authorization), required employers to attest to their employees’ immigration status, and granted amnesty to certain illegal immigrants who entered the United States before January 1, 1982 and had resided there continuously. The Act also granted a path towards legalization to certain agricultural seasonal workers and immigrants who had been continuously and illegally present in the United States since January 1, 1982. Fear dominates life in Mexico’s deadliest city

Fear dominates life in Mexico’s deadliest city

CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico (AP) - “Not one person murdered yesterday,” Ciudad Juarez’s leading newspaper proclaimed in a banner headline. It was big news in this border city, ground zero in the drug war - the first time in 10 months that a day had passed without a killing.

But by the end of that day, Oct. 30, nine more people were riddled with bullets.

Violent death is a part of life in Ciudad Juarez, a seedy, dust-cloaked metropolis on the banks of the Rio Grande. Bloodied bodies hang from overpasses, and children walking to school stumble across hit men filling targets with lead.

While there’s no definitive comparison of murder rates in cities around the world, there’s no question Ciudad Juarez is now among the deadliest. It has had about 2,250 killings this year, a rate of 173 per 100,000 residents. That compares with 37 in Baltimore, the deadliest U.S. city with a population of more than 500,000.

Yesterday, December 5th, there was a vicious rumor offered up by a person that shall remain unnamed. He told one of my friends to be VERY careful in dealing with me because I am a racist that has, in the past, called for the deaths of ALL that cross our borders illegally.

He went on to tell my friend that he thought I had *mellowed* since I had stopped ranting about ILLEGAL immigration and the INVADERS that are destroying our nation.

He is wrong!

I have NOT mellowed, in ANY way. I just grew tired of ranting about something that a supposed GOP POTUS was ignoring and I knew that there was no sense in wasting my time making posts now that Barack Hussein Obama is temporarily in the Oval Office.

I STILL believe that our borders need to be manned by well armed troops. I STILL believe that any and ALL persons crossing our border at anything other than a LEGAL Port of Entry need to be shot on sight as foreign and hostile INVADERS!

I also said in the past that I don’t give a DAMN about what happens to these invaders when they are wandering around in the heat of the desert southwest. That hasn’t changed either.

And for the record, ILLEGALS are NOT a race, they are a people. How can I be a racist for my beliefs against a people? Wouldn’t that make me a *peopleist*? Just sayin’… :P

You see, I don’t hate any particular RACE of invaders, I am an equal opportunity hater, I hate ALL ILLEGAL invaders, no matter where they come from, no matter their pigmentation, no matter their reasons for coming to this nation. If they are NOT here legally, they are criminals, as such, they need to be punished AS criminals.

Of course we all know that is just not going happen.

There are far too many bleeding heart libbers, and a few FAUX Conservatives, that haven’t got the GUTS to stand and defend this nation. The FAUX Conservatives, better know as RINOs, are as intent on destroying this nation as are the Islamic Jihadists that permeate the fabric of our once great nation.

Attacks kill at least 21 in Mexican border cities

Attacks kill at least 21 in Mexican border cities

TIJUANA, Mexico (AP) - Firefighters found six bodies inside a burning car in Tijuana, and 15 people were killed in three separate shootings in another northern Mexican border town besieged by drug violence, authorities said Tuesday.

Near Mexico’s southern border, meanwhile, the bullet-ridden bodies of eight men suspected to be drug traffickers were found in a Guatemalan frontier town.

In Tijuana, across the border from San Diego, four bodies were found in a burning compact car’s seats and two in the trunk, according to a police report Tuesday.

The victims’ identities and the motive for the killings were not released, but the Mexican city is on a major route for drugs heading north and has recently seen a wave of violence between warring gangs. The bodies were found Monday night.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if the president has given ANY indication that our borders are going to be closed? And closely guarded by National Guard troops?

Yeah, I know, it’s not going to happen. It’s been many years since we had a president that possessed the fortitude to actually address the problems that this nation faces. At least to address them in a realist manner.

Where border security issues are concerned, it looks like border states are going to have to stand on their own if they want to actually have border security. I can’t speak regarding California, Arizona or New Mexico, and their efforts to secure their part of the U.S./Mexican border, but I know what Texas Governor Rick Perry is doing;

HOUSTON - Special teams of Texas Rangers will be deployed to the Texas-Mexico border to deal with increasing violence because the federal government has failed to address growing problems there, Gov. Rick Perry said Thursday.

“It is an expansive effort with the Rangers playing a more high-profile role than they’ve ever played before,” Perry said of the Department of Public Safety’s elite investigative unit.

The forces, dubbed “Ranger recon” teams, are the latest effort “to fill the gap that’s been left by the federal government’s ongoing failure to adequately secure our international border with Mexico,” he said. SOURCE

Texas isn’t going to take this stuff laying down. Texas was born from a fight for freedom, freedom FROM Mexico. Texans have been fighting Mexicans since Texas came to be. It’s nothing new here, it’s just what we do. And today, Texas is once again in a fight to stop Mexican drug cartels from coming to power here.

Some folks, particularly U.S. Senator Kay Bailout Hutchison, claims this is a reelection stunt. She says that Perry only ordered this because he’s looking for votes. I beg to differ Sen. Hutchison.

I believe that Gov. Perry has, as have most Texans, had all of this BS he can stand. I believe he sees the dangers that Texas and it’s citizens are facing from these cretins in Mexico. I believe he is acting to protect Texas and the good folks OF Texas.

Gunmen kill 17 people at a drug rehab in Mexico

Gunmen kill 17 people at a drug rehab in Mexico

CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico (AP) - Gunmen broke into a drug rehabilitation center, lined people against a wall and shot 17 dead in a particularly bloody day in Mexico’s relentless drug war. The brazen attack followed the killing of the No. 2 security official in President Felipe Calderon’s home state.

The attackers on Wednesday broke down the door of El Aliviane center in Ciudad Juarez, lined up their victims against a wall and opened fire, said Arturo Sandoval, a spokesman for the regional prosecutors’ office. At least five people were injured.

Authorities had no immediate suspects or information on the victims. Ciudad Juarez, across the border from El Paso, Texas, is Mexico’s most violent city, with at least 1,400 people killed this year alone.

Most of the homicides are tied to drug gang violence, which has taken a heavy toll across Mexico. Earlier the same day, gunmen ambushed and killed a senior security official in the home state of President Felipe Calderon.

Mexican schools close as children are threatened

December 13th, 2008 . by TexasFred

Mexican schools close as children are threatened

CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico (AP) - Fourth-grader Ricardo Ivan Ortega knows he is a target in this violent city. His school closed temporarily last month after an anonymous note demanded teachers hand over their year-end bonuses - or students would be kidnapped.

Ricardo has a plan.

“I will just hide,” the shy 9-year-old said in late November, waiting in the family car while his mother inquired when Luis Urias Elementary would reopen. “My mom told me not to get near the front gate, and if I need to, to run out of my classroom.”

Across Ciudad Juarez, parents and students are stricken by reports of kidnapping and extortion threats, starting with a sign that appeared Nov. 12 on the front door of another school, the Elena Garro kindergarten, demanding: “Either give us your bonuses, or we will start to kidnap the children.”

Police removed it before the children arrived.

Some speculate that cartels now are targeting schools to supplement income with the Mexican government’s crackdown on drug trafficking, much as they’ve already extorted businesses. Others say common criminals are trying to cash in on the fear that pervades border cities, where terrified residents are seeing ever more brutal murders - more than 1,300 so far this year in Ciudad Juarez.

Ya know, I DO have a bit of sympathy for these folks, they are too frightened to do ANYTHING, but they can’t stand up to the *bad guys*, their government took all the legal guns away years ago. The only ones with guns now are the outlaws, cartel guys and the Federales.

The Federales are scared too. The *bad guys* and the cartels have unlimited income and some really nice weaponry, lots of U.S. dollars, narco-dollars buys you nothing but the very best. Yeah, our dollars. Drug money, from the poison the cartels smuggle into America!

I wonder when the people of Mexico are going to grow a set and put an end to this BS? Oh, I know when, about the time the American electorate grows a set and dumps all the crooks in THIS nation. There’s only one good thing about our situation, our troops and police aren’t bought and paid for like the Federales are.

I also wonder, WHEN does this exact same violence spill over, openly, to U.S. border cities? And when does it come inland a ways? To major cities not ON the border? And just for giggles, what the hell is the U.S. government going to actually DO to stop ANY of this?

Yeah, that’s right. The exact same thing they’ve been doing, pretty much nothing!

I hope you’re locked and loaded, I hope you’re in possession of ammo and magazines, that is where it’s going to happen, that is where the disarmament of the American people begins. And soon we’ll be in exactly the same boat as Mexico, the military will have guns, the *bad guys* will have guns, and we’ll be wondering what the hell happened to America!
