The FAILURE known as Barack Hussein Obama

The FAILURE known as Barack Hussein Obama

What follows is a look at the news of today, Sept. 2, 2011 and it offers us a glimpse into the life of Barack Hussein Obama and the misery this nation suffers under his presidency.

Employers add no net jobs in Aug.; rate unchanged

WASHINGTON (AP) - Employers stopped adding jobs in August, an alarming setback for an economy that has struggled to grow and might be at risk of another recession.

The government also reported that the unemployment rate remained at 9.1 percent. It was the weakest jobs report since September 2010.

Stocks tumbled on the news. The Dow Jones industrial average sank more than 200 points in afternoon trading.

Total payrolls were unchanged in August, the first time since 1945 that the government has reported a net job change of zero. Economists warned that the economy can’t keep growing indefinitely if hiring remains stalled. SOURCE

Zero growth is good, in some areas. Today I posted this piece; US marks first month with no troop deaths in Iraq, and in MY opinion the fact that ZERO Troops died in Iraq during the month of August 2011 is a good thing, a very good thing, but the media follows their report of no troop losses in Iraq with a story of NO JOBS GROWTH in the USA over the same month.

Barack Hussein Obama has blamed the failed economy on George Bush, Obama refuses to accept ANY responsibility, for anything, but I have to wonder how long it will be before Obama claims FULL CREDIT for the numbers coming out of Iraq?

The economy and jobs report reflect an Obama FAILURE.

Frustrations rise for those still without power

WARWICK, R.I. (AP) - With Hurricane Irene’s floodwaters receding across much of the East Coast, homeowners are mucking out their basements and dragging soggy furniture to the curb. But frustrations are rising as the wait for power drags on, with an estimated 895,000 homes and businesses still without electricity.

Cold showers. The stench of spoiled food. No Internet. No TV. Too few distractions. Patience is wearing thin among the hundreds of thousands of people - down from a peak of 9.6 million - still waiting for the electricity to come back on after last weekend’s storm.

“It’s like ‘Little House on the Prairie’ times,” said Debbie McWeeney, who went to a Red Cross shelter in Warwick to pick up food and water after everything in her refrigerator went bad. “Except I’m not enjoying it at all.”

And criticism of the utility companies is mounting. SOURCE

When Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans the Dems that ran Louisiana at that time sat on their fat and/or Black asses and did NOTHING, think Ray Nagin and Kathleen Babineaux Blanco. They sat on their asses and blamed George W. Bush and his administration for a *slow* or inadequate response to Katrina. They had the gall to accuse Bush of allowing people to die because, according to some, the folks that were stranded and dying in New Orleans were BLACK folks and they didn’t think Bush cared.

If I am not mistaken, most of the folks in Vermont and Rhode Island are WHITE folks; is Obama holding back and giving a less than stellar response because it’s WHITE folks and because he, Obama, is a RACIST?

Obama has FAILED in his response to the fine people of New England, but in true Obama fashion I am expecting him to Blame Bush.

Obama halts controversial EPA regulation

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama on Friday scrapped his administration’s controversial plans to tighten smog rules, bowing to the demands of congressional Republicans and some business leaders.

Obama overruled the Environmental Protection Agency - and the unanimous opinion of its independent panel of scientific advisers - and directed administrator Lisa Jackson to withdraw the proposed regulation to reduce concentrations of ground-level ozone, smog’s main ingredient. The decision rests in part on reducing regulatory burdens and uncertainty for businesses at a time of rampant uncertainty about an unsteady economy.

The announcement came shortly after a new government report on private sector employment showed that businesses essentially added no new jobs last month - and that the jobless rate remained stuck at a historically high 9.1 percent.

The withdrawal of the proposed regulation marks the latest in a string of retreats by Obama in the face of Republican opposition. Last December, he shelved, at least until the end of 2012, his insistence that Bush-era tax cuts should no longer apply to the wealthy. Earlier this year he avoided a government shutdown by agreeing to Republican demands for budget cuts. And this summer he acceded to more than a $1 trillion in spending reductions, with more to come, as the price for an agreement to raise the nation’s debt ceiling. SOURCE

Obama knows his numbers are in the tank, he knows that every time he opens his mouth the DOW takes a plunge, so, knowing that he is losing ground that he can never regain Obama sucks up to the Conservative Right and backs down on these EPA regulations that are nothing more than JUNK SCIENCE.

Obama FAIL!

Quake risk to reactors greater than thought

WASHINGTON (AP) - The risk that an earthquake would cause a severe accident at a U.S. nuclear plant is greater than previously thought, 24 times as high in one case, according to an AP analysis of preliminary government data. The nation’s nuclear regulator believes a quarter of America’s reactors may need modifications to make them safer.

The threat came into sharp focus last week, when shaking from the largest earthquake to hit Virginia in 117 years appeared to exceed what the North Anna nuclear power plant northwest of Richmond was built to sustain.

The two North Anna reactors are among 27 in the eastern and central U.S. that a preliminary Nuclear Regulatory Commission review has said may need upgrades. That’s because those plants are more likely to get hit with an earthquake larger than the one their design was based on. Just how many nuclear power plants are more vulnerable won’t be determined until all operators recalculate their own seismic risk based on new assessments by geologists, something the agency plans to request later this year. The NRC on Thursday issued a draft of that request for public comment.

The review, launched well before the East Coast quake and the Japan nuclear disaster in March, marks the first complete update to seismic risk in years for the nation’s 104 existing reactors, despite research showing greater hazards. SOURCE

I am thinking that the media, which is, for the most part, in the pocket of the Obama regime, is trying to put out stories that will deflect American focus on matters like the economy and Operation Fast and Furious. Refocus, deflect, hide facts, throw stories out there that will frighten the general public, do ANYTHING necessary to keep the spotlight OFF of the failures of the Obama administration.

There are some things that are certain facts of life; if you live in the desert it IS going to get hot. If you live on the coast and a hurricane hits, you stand a very good chance of sustaining significant property damage, and possibly face death if YOU decide to ride out the storm in place. If you live in the northern tier of states you KNOW it’s going to be COLD in the winter. If you live in the USA you KNOW there is a good chance that you could be in a tornado. Those are certain FACTS of life.

If you build a nuclear reactor on the coast, or on a KNOWN geological fault line, you KNOW that there is a chance of catastrophic failure during an earthquake, tsunami, tornado or hurricane.

None of this is can be blamed on Obama, it’s not Obama’s fault, no pun intended, there have been no new nuclear reactors built in years.

This one isn’t an Obama FAIL so much as it is the media trying to scare the bejeebers out of the American public on Obama’s behalf.

All of these stories, in ONE DAY; you know that bloggers like me keep a sharp eye on Obama and the media, how much do you suppose they manage to slide in *under the radar* that we don’t catch?

In August I can truly say that I hired more people than Barack did. I hired two to mow my yard and two to clip my trees, and a lady to clean the house. So I guess I did more for the economy in August than Barry, I mean Hussein, or whatever his name is, who really cares anyway.

The man is running scared, his job creation numbers are depleting faster than his poll numbers are going down. Now that’s a problem. Go ahead and start packing. Maybe you can pack fast enough and you can ride Tropical Storm Lee out of here. Not to worry we will send your STUFF out on the next hurricane.

I created more jobs than Obama did, I stopped up the pot and had to get a plumber out to clear the line…

Wasn’t really me, I can’t take ALL the credit, we DID need a Roto-Rooter, but I helped!! 😛

  2. BobF says:

Shoot, most of those folks hit by the tornado in Tuscaloosa, AL were black. Obama promised them aid but hasn’t come though for them either.

Broken Promises: Tornado Victim Blasts Obama

  3. Bluto says:

    But… but… but…

    but…

but, Fred, he’s gonna fix everything with a speech next week.

It’s just a damn shame we can’t unleash the restorative powers of his speeches on our enemies.

  4. Jim at Conservatives on Fire says:

Obama is living proof that “Affirmative Action” was a mistake.

  5. Steve Dennis says:

The Obama regime has failed miserably and Barack Obama didn’t have the political courage to go through with cap and trade because it would hurt the economy evem more. Sure, he stopped the EPA but if he gets reelected cap and trade will be back on the table. The only way to get rid of cap and trade is to get rid of Barack Obama.

  6. Patrick Sperry says:

    *chuckles*

Folks can’t say that Fred and myself didn’t tell everyone that this was coming… Hell, I coined the term “Epic Fail obama” way back at CLO. Do a web search now and..?

This halfrican imposter is destroying us as a nation. Let’s all just hope and pray that Rick Perry, or someone like him can undo all the damage that this BHO has done.
