President Obama Honors 9/11 Victims at WTC Site

President Obama and his wife Michelle Obama today paid respect to 9/11 victims by visiting the North Memorial Pool in the footprint of the spot where the north tower of the World Trade Center stood on this 10th anniversary of the terrorist attack.

The two observed a moment of silence commemorating the exact minute the first airplane crashed into the north tower, after which President Obama read a passage from Psalm 46.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble,” the scripture says.

The Obamas were joined by former President George W. Bush and Laura Bush. The two couples walked along the edge of the pool and observed the names victims of 9/11 and the 1993 WTC bombing inscribed around the pools. The couples then greeted some families of the 9/11 victims.

So, Barack Hussein Obama went to *Ground Zero*, the World Trade Center site to honor the victims of Sept. 11th. I have wonder? Exactly WHO was he honoring, the victims or his Muslim brothers?

I do NOT say this in jest; I despise Barack Hussein Obama and everything he stands for. I honestly believe that Barack Hussein Obama has only one goal; that being the destruction of the United States of America.

On Sept. 11th, 2011 at the WTC site, former President George W. Bush bowed his head in prayer, Barack Hussein Obama turned his UGLY face to the sky?

Maybe I am reading a lot more into this than is really there, but personally, I was offended when Obama pointed his face upwards as opposed to bowing his head in prayer. I think the reason this set me off on such a tirade was because Obama has bowed to quite a few foreign dignitaries in the past, but he won’t bow his HEAD to honor the victims of the terror attacks? He won’t bow his head to GOD??

Following the 9-11 services for Flight 93 in Shanksville Obama immediately went back into campaign mode, here he *yuks it up* with some of his supporters.

I found that picture at The Gateway Pundit and I wanted to tip the Stetson to Jim Hoft for having the GUTS to take Obama and company on, in one way or another, every day! Kudos Sir!

Obama and his wife, Michelle, visited the Wall of Names. Each of the 40 marble slabs is inscribed with the name of someone killed in the crash of United Flight 93. SOURCE

Obama was going through the motions, I watched him closely, he knew the *dance* but he didn’t know *the words* to the song.

At these events, and during a later appearance at the Pentagon, Obama had few words of his own. He mostly just stood with his wife, Michelle, and bore witness, giving handshakes and hugs, laying a wreath, placing his hand upon the recently completed monument at Ground Zero. His words came much later, after nightfall, during a concert event at the Kennedy Center in Washington. It was here that he too asked for remembrance. But his speech did not only concern the 2,819 people who had died in the attacks of Sept. 11. He wanted the country to remember itself.

They will remember that we have overcome slavery and Civil War, bread lines and fascism, recession and riots, Communism and, yes, terrorism. And finally, this.

“These past 10 years have shown that America does not give in to fear,” he said. Nor to suspicion or mistrust or sacrificed values, he said.

“Our people still work in skyscrapers,” Obama said during an evening ceremony centered on American hope and resilience.

Obama went through the motions, sadly there was NO emotion. The man was like a ROBOT. The looks were as arrogant as ever, he looked like he was bored to be where he was and I heard NO sincerity in his words, nor did I take ANY degree of comfort from them!

There is one thing I have to say though, some bloggers, and many folks on Facebook are saying that Obama set Sept. 11, 2011 as Grandparents Day and wanted to make it the focus of Sept. 11 as opposed to the solemn day it truly is.

The people making those accusations are WRONG.

The impetus for a National Grandparents Day originated with Marian McQuade, a housewife in Fayette County, West Virginia. Her primary motivation was to champion the cause of lonely elderly in nursing homes. She also hoped to persuade grandchildren to tap the wisdom and heritage their grandparents could provide. President Jimmy Carter, in 1978, proclaimed that National Grandparents Day would be celebrated every year on the first Sunday after Labor Day.

Obama may have wanted to redirect some thoughts and activities TO Grandparents Day, but he didn’t succeed. Obama also had NOTHING to do with when the day fell.
