UN States Fail to Reach Global Arms Trade Treaty
U.N. member states have failed to reach agreement on a new treaty to regulate the multibillion dollar global arms trade.
Some diplomats and treaty supporters blamed the United States for triggering the unraveling of the month-long negotiating conference.
Hopes had been raised that agreement could be reached on a revised treaty text that closed some key loopholes by Friday’s deadline for action. But the United States announced Friday morning that it needed more time to consider the proposed treaty — and Russia and China then also asked for more time.
Ambassador Roberto Garcia Moritan, the conference chairman, predicted that despite the failure to reach consensus on a treaty “we certainly are going to have a treaty in 2012.”
He said the overwhelming majority of U.N. member states like the treaty and there are several options for moving forward.

It has FAILED and the United States announced Friday morning that it needed more time to consider the proposed treaty? Why? The thing wasn’t *enhanced* enough for Hillary Clinton and Barack Hussein Obama?

51 Senators came out this morning saying they will NOT vote to ratify this treaty. It would have been dead on arrival.

America has been on the road to denationalization for decades. The last four presidents have been globalists. Secretaries of State Henry Kissinger, Cyrus Vance, Hillary Clinton, Colin Powell have all contracted or tried to contract American Exceptionalism and sovereignty away to the UN and to international anti American opinion. It took me a few years to really realize the meaning of Bush 41’s “New World Order”.
Presently we are debating over this Global Arms Trade Treaty and the horrible Law of the Sea Treaty. Either of these, if ratifed by the Senate and signed by a president, would put terrible restrictions on individual Americans constitutional liberties and on American sovereignty and America’s economy.
I have fears and a sense that Romney is also a big globalism guy. Maybe not? If he defeats the Marxist racist muslim now in the Oval Office, I will be watching very very closely to see who his Cabinet picks will be. If they are mostly long time Washington insiders and/or GOP/RNC regulars then I will know it is business as usual and our trip to EU type socialism is still on course. If his picks are some obscure people, then I will have to do a lot of research. Of course, if Romney wins then the MSM will do the research for me. They will enthusiastically vet a Repubs Cabinet pick all the way back to their conception. If obama is reelected, then everything is a coverup and his group will shift on up to fourth gear and floorboard the throttle to high speed America to the finish line of Greece type socialism.
TomR is quite correct about Secty’s of State — and the State Department ITSELF is just as bad or worse; it is populated by those who’d wish to submit sovereignty over to a higher UN power.
