An Open Letter to the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives
This morning I sent a detailed email to my U.S. Congressman, Rep. Pete Sessions, telling him of my concerns with this possible debacle in Syria and I just now finished having a very informative and fruitful conversation with the Gentleman! Some of that information is contained in the body of this post.
Below follows a copy of the email I sent to Rep. Sessions.
I know that there’s a lot going on *behind the scenes* that I am not aware of. I know the media is saying Obama has PROOF that Assad (Syria) gassed and killed those people but I also know that Obama hasn’t offered any proof or irrefutable facts.
I have to ask; are you folks in Congress going to let this incompetent CLOWN get by with ordering air strikes against Syria without Congressional approval?
Pete, I am fully convinced that Obama is one of those Jihadists. I am fully convinced that he supports the Muslim Brotherhood. I am fully convinced that the destruction of this nation is his ultimate goal, or that of his *handlers*.
I am fully convinced that given the opportunity Obama is going to start WWIII over a *civil war* in Syria.
Pete, the majority of Americans in this nation would support the idea of Obama being *slapped silly* by Congress, in fact, you may be surprised at how much support you folks in Congress would get, even from some on the other side of the aisle.
We may have disagreed on a few issues in the past, and what the hell, we probably will again in the future, be that as it may, YOU and your colleagues have the power to stop this tyrannical fool, and in that effort I can assure you, you would be supported.
We don’t need Americans in the streets like we see in Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Libya and Syria, but if something doesn’t change soon, that is exactly what will happen. And that’s not a threat my friend, it’s an observation from someone that studies these issues in great depth.
Pete and I talked a good 20 minutes just now, that is a long time for a phone conversation with a person as busy as Pete Sessions is right about now, and he assured me that BOTH Houses have sent letters to Obama making it clear that there can be NO ACTION taken without a consensus with Congress and the Senate.
We also discussed a few items that I am holding on to, but I must say this; Pete and I are basically on the same page here. I am happy about that.
Barack Hussein Obama is a dangerous individual and he is doing that old *shuck and jive* that I have often accused him of doing. He is a lot smarter than most Conservatives give him credit for being too. The current actions of Barack Hussein Obama, his *sabre rattling* over the gas attacks in Syria are nothing more than his attempt to deflect for all that is wrong inside his White House.
When you couple that intelligence with the inherent evil that IS Obama you get what we all see; a Muslim loving anti-American that will side with al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood over the American people.
I am trusting Pete Sessions to do all that can be done to keep Obama in line on Syria and a myriad of other *issues*, I know that Pete has his heart and mind in this fight, of that I am certain.
I am also privy to the communication between Speaker Boehner and the Office of the President. I don’t have any level of confidence in John Boehner but at this point in time I don’t know what else can be done.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are a nation in crisis. I am sure this comes as no shock to any of you but all we can do is trust in our elected officials to rectify the current crisis and move on to the next crisis or scandal, whichever the case may be.
Contact YOUR Congressman, talk with them, be open and honest, be polite but get the point across that we ALL believe Barack Hussein Obama must be stopped.
The one thing that I know to be shaping up is the belief that impeachment of Barack Hussein Obama could well become a reality. There are rumbling from the Democrats now, and that is NOT a sign that bodes well for him.
Obama is either stopped or We, The People may be the next big news item when American Spring occurs.
God Bless you, Fred and thanks for the update. I have been doing the same thing in contacting my Congressman & Rep. If you can’t get through, keep trying. We must let them know how we feel about this *CLOWN* and that we are holding our elected officials accountable for their actions !!
Fred, I would love to contact my reps. Trouble is, I have McCain, Flake, Barber and Grijalva—grrrrrrrrrr.
Well, the general consensus is that McCain is an old fool and Flake really is one.. How’d you get 2 U.S. Representatives?
Barber is actually my rep-Grijalva is the other district (Tucson is split). Barber took over from Giffords. We call him Col. Sanders here-and that’s a slap to Col. Sanders! Amazingly (coincidentally?), since he got voted into her seat, all the KFC’s are closing up….lol
Ditto here in New Jersey home of the most ignorant electorate outside of California. Here we have two choices, we can petition our senators and representatives or we can piss in the wind; same result. But there is a way to stop the strongman Chakabama from starting WWIII: If Assad reveals he is a closet member of the Muslim Brotherhood Chaka and his handlers wouldn’t dare attack one of their own. Pretty simple huh?
The Brits’ House of Commons has voted, today, not to intervene in Syria. Obama is quickly becoming isolated with his own Congress against him as well as the American people. BUT — don’t be surprised if he still lobs a few cruise missiles at Syria as that “shot across the bow” talked about today.

I thought Obama was suppose to make them all like us again and gain their respect. Our closest ally just told us that we’re on our own. Maybe if Obama hadn’t insulted the Queen and English People by getting rid of the bust of Churchill and acting like an arrogant ass, they might have supported us. Under Bush, other nations may not have liked us but they still respected us. Now, under Obama, they still not only don’t like us, they don’t respect us, and they laugh at us.

I remain, myself, not completely convinced Syria utilized gas on its own —
PLUS, the UN estimates it will take up to another two weeks before it can officially confirm that gas was or was not used — and they will not make a determination of “by whom.”
No official confirmation — though Mr Obama is absolutely convinced that nerve gas was used by Assad, yet has no idea whatsoever about what occurred at Benghazi.
Imagine that.

First off, I am a hawk, but I am delighted to see the muslim brotherhood and the Assad regime killing each other. That’s less we will eventually have to neutralize.
So. tell your congress critter that even a single cruise missile will be grounds for his impeachment.
Demand that they have articles of impeachment drawn up and ready to go before a single missile lands.
They need to show him the transcript of him saying the POTUS lacks the authority to instigate any action without a threat to our interests.

Sessions is my congressman also. Usually he is pretty conservative as is his district(part of the D/FW metroplex). Once in a while Pete strays a bit, but he knows his district’s leaning and he is up for reelection every two years.
I sent him a very short email basically saying “NO” to any involvement in Syria. We need another war like obama needs another African vacation. All sides in Syria are anti-American so we cannot win anything there. Let the muslims kill each other.

There is NOTHING we should do, in ANY Muslim nation, I mean don’t lift so much as a finger to help either side.. I felt that when we went to Afghanistan after 9-11-01 that we were fully justified in every way… 12 years in and we’re so wrong to still be there.. Iraq was nothing more than the Bush idea of *get some for Daddy*…
