The 27 Characteristics of the Antichrist
I am by no means a Biblical scholar but I was watching a program on the History Channel about Nostradamus and the possibility that the antichrist may already be among us today.
Then if you watch the news you’ll see stories of death, disease, pestilence, war and many other scenarios that match certain characteristics very closely.
Do you suppose this is a REAL possibility? Do you believe there will BE an antichrist? If not Obama, who would YOU think of?
1. He comes from among ten kings in the restored Roman Empire; his authority will have similarities to the ancient Babylonians, Persians, and Greeks [Daniel 7:24; Rev 13:2 / Daniel 7:7]
2. He will subdue three kings [Daniel 7:8, 24]
3. He is different from the other kings [Daniel 7:24]
4. He will rise from obscurity… a “little horn” [Daniel 7:8]
5. He will speak boastfully [Daniel 7:8; Rev 13:5]
6. He will blaspheme God, [Daniel 7:25; 11:36; Rev 13:5] slandering His Name, dwelling place, and departed Christians and Old Testament saints [Rev 13:6]
7. He will oppress the saints and be successful for 3 ½ years [Daniel 7:25; Rev 13:7]
8. He will try to change the calendar, perhaps to define a new era, related to himself [Daniel 7:25]
9. He will try to change the laws, perhaps to gain an advantage for his new kingdom and era [Dan 7:25]
10. He will not be succeeded by another earthly ruler, but by Christ [Daniel 7:26-27]
11. He will confirm a covenant with “many”, i.e. the Jewish people [Daniel 9:27] This covenant will likely involve the establishment of a Jewish Temple in Jerusalem [see Dan 9:27; Matt 24:15]
12. He will put an end to Jewish sacrifice and offerings after 3 ½ years and will set up an abomination to God in the Temple [Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15]
13. He will not answer to a higher earthly authority; “He will do as he pleases”[Daniel 11:36]
14. He will show no regard for the religion of his ancestors [Daniel 11:37]
15. He will not believe in any god at all [except for himself] [Daniel 11:37]
16. He will have “no regard for the desire of women”: He will either be asexual or homosexual [Dan 11:37]
17. He will claim to be greater than any god [Daniel 11:37; 2 Thess 2:4]
18. He will claim to be God [2 Thessalonians 2:4]
19. He will only honor a “god” of the military. His whole focus and attention will be on his military. He will conquer lands and distribute them [Daniel 11:39-44]
20. His arrival on the world scene will be accompanied by miracles, signs and wonders [2 Thess 2:9]
21. Either he, or his companion [The False Prophet], will claim to be Christ [Matt 24:21-28]
22. He will claim that Jesus did not come in the flesh, or that Jesus did not rise bodily from the grave [2 John 7]. He will deny that Jesus is the Messiah [I John 2:22]
23. He will be worshipped by many people [Rev. 13:8]
24. He will hate a nation that initially will have some control over his kingdom, but he will destroy this nation [Rev 17:16-18]
25. He will appear to survive a fatal injury [Rev. 13:3; 17:8]
26. His name will be related to the number six hundred and sixty six—but not necessarily in an obvious fashion [Rev 13:17-18].
27. He will be empowered by the devil himself [Rev. 13:2]
Even if not ALL of the points made are 100% accurate, does Barack Hussein Obama meet enough of the criteria for consideration?
You DO remember this I hope: Obama says America is ‘no longer Christian’.
As I said, I am NOT a Biblical scholar but the possibilities, and if nothing else, the sheer implications in Obama’s words give me cause for suspicion.
The Beast of Revelation (anti-christ) is described like unto a Leopard (Rev 13:2). Now, if you look at a Leopard, you’ll see an integrated animal. Its colors are yellow, black, and white. It fur is yellow like Shem (Asian); its underbelly is white like Japhed (Caucasian); its spots which look like black lips are like Ham (Negro). Shem, Japhed, and Ham are the three sons’ of Noah. From these three sons sprang forth the three races of people on Earth; Asian, Caucasian, and Negroid. Every person on Earth can genetically be traced back to these three races. So, the anti-christ is going to embellish the three races of people on earth; he’s going to be an integrated person…A citizen of the world.
Obama is not only black and white, he’s also Arab. He has Asian, Caucasian, and Negroid blood running in his veins. He descends from all three of Noah’s son’s: Shem, Ham, and Japhed. He’s an integrated man.
My Bible reading days are far behind me Fred. However, the more references to scripture that I seem to encounter these days moves me to look for the family Bible that has been packed away somewhere in the boxes I have since my mom died in ’95. I have not been involved in organized religion for a long time either but have not given up my belief in God. I do believe that islam is pure evil and for many years have read a lot about it, enough to make an informed decision about where my loyalties lie. Thank you for another great post.
I believe it’s not only possible but probable. Many of Revelation’s verses also deal with cities with rivers of blood where the roads are (Middle East?), the rise of Islam, the dominance of Islam (bloodlust and sheer savagery), etc. I posed a question to a friend of mine a while back-many believe the “Babylon” mentioned in Revelations to be New York and draw that parallel. But what if it actually means the REAL BABYLON?
Babylon in Revelation isn’t a city but a religious system that resembles the religion of ancient Babylon.

It says the Holy Spirit is the force the prevents him from hitting the streets…
Not at all what I read in it… Antichrist and False Prophet come to earth and JC comes to kick their asses… That’s what I get from it and the teaching I had as a youngster…

In Catholic prophecy (yep, there really is such a thing), there are several things that seem to be coming to fruition. 1) God will withdraw His blessing from America because of the abortion mills and the slaughter of the innocents (seems to have happened, if not currently happening); 2) We are told to keep our eyes on Russia-NOT China-as Russia will re-enter the world stage more powerful than ever and “The eagle will fall to the bear” (I believe that was a Fatima prophecy)-gee THIS seems to be happening; 3) the False Pope who will usher in the beast to usher in the AC (I thought it might be Ratzenberger, but am more inclined to believe it’s this one with his progressiveness rather than traditional leadership)-his policies seem to be more in line with the crap being churned out in the Swamp and Lala land rather than in leading his flock….that’s what I can remember off the top of my head
As bad as Obama does things, the Anti-Christ comes from a reborn holy roman empire. We see that happening today with the organizing of the European Union and their having a Constitution of their own. We also have a World Court in the Hague, and somewhat of a World Army in the Nato military structure.
Obama is from Africa, not considered to be part of Europe. Obama being the Anti-Christ has been discussed, however, this one fact I believe excludes him from the Anti-Christ list. I also believe, along with many others, the person to be the Anti-Christ is alive, but the pact with the devil hasn’t been formed yet. Very possible, maybe even probable, but the person has to come out of a reborn holy roman empire.
The last holy roman empire was declared when Pope Leo III put the crown on the head of Charlemagne and declared him emperor of the Holy Roman Empire on December 25, 800AD.
Obama is a narcissist who will go down as the worst president in the history of the United States. His policies, at every turn, are crafted to diminish the power of the US and, by extension, to allow evil to go unchecked in many portions of the planet. The anti-Christ? Unknown.

Many thought Ronald Reagan was the anti-Christ as well…
Many will be tricked to believe the anti-Christ is the savior. If you are paying attention I dont think it will be difficult to see or know who it is when the time arises.
People said that about Reagan because there were 6 letters in his first, middle and last names.
If you read Revelation in any version its quite apparent to me anyway that the revealing of the anti-Christ will be very evident.
