IRS Head: ‘We May Not Have the Resources…to Provide Refunds as Quickly’

WASHINGTON (AP) — IRS Commissioner John Koskinen says budget cuts just enacted by Congress could delay tax refunds next year.

At a news conference Thursday, Koskinen said taxpayer services will be hurt, and fewer agents will be auditing returns. He said about half the people who call the agency for assistance won’t be able to get through to a person. SOURCE

When Americans are taxed as much as we are and you have the IRS saying, ‘We May Not Have the Resources…to Provide Refunds as Quickly’, it tends to make ME believe that the issues with the IRS go well be beyond Lois Lerner and some missing emails.

We have sick, homeless and hungry children that need to be educated right here in the United States, in THIS nation, and that is a travesty.

We have sick, homeless and hungry disabled military Veterans that need medical care to keep themselves alive, they need food and shelter, they need to be cared for and they are turned away or given 2nd class treatment and the bare minimum of medicines.

Even though some DO get a meager amount of food and medication, many still die every day.

We have military Veterans that have given this nation a lifetime of service, only to be told that their benefits will be cut back because the government just doesn’t have the money to give them what they earned and what they deserve.

Our government, and particularly our President, spends money, or should I say; wastes money, in unheard of amounts. They do so because they feel like they have a bottomless money pit to dip from. That would be us, the tax payer.

I don’t know how much Obama’s Christmas Vacation to Hawaii is going to cost us, We, the People, but here’s a link from the Washington Examiner on this date last year and somehow I doubt the cost is any less this year. Obama’s 17-day trip to Hawaii costs taxpayers $4M.

Just how much does Barack Hussein Obama and his family cost the taxpayers for their travels?

Mr. and Mrs. Barack H. Obama have the wildly inappropriate habit of spending our money on themselves. In particular, they seem to enjoy expensive vacations — at Martha’s Vineyard in the summer and Hawaii in the winter — as well as junkets to other parts of the world, aboard Air Force One. SOURCE

According to this source dated 07/05/2014, The Obamas Have Spent Over $44,351,777.12 In Taxpayer Cash On Travel.

OK, I am NOT a fool, I know that in the grand scheme of things $44,351,777.12 is not that much money and it certainly won’t pay off the deficit or run the nation, but it would go a long ways, if properly administered to ensure there was no theft and fraud, it would feed and care for a lot of hungry kids and Veterans. 

I make NO secret of the fact that I truly detest Barack Hussein Obama and everything he and his Socialist regime stand for, but as much as I despise Obama I think I despise the U.S. House and Senate just as much, simply because they, BOTH sides of the aisle, have allowed the government to become such an atrocious black hole that has an insatiable appetite for OUR money.

Next month, with the seating of a Republican controlled House and Senate we have an opportunity to turn this nation around and get our heads above water. The question is; will the House and Senate have the GUTS to get it done or will they be too busy counting the dollars they make as serving Members, and will continue to make for the rest of their lives, to even give a DAMN about the plight of the average American?

We should get a *feel* for that very soon, and I don’t like the feeling I’m getting.
