Hispanic leaders say Republican Party must condemn Trump

WASHINGTON (AP) — Hispanic leaders are warning of harm to Republican White House hopes unless the party’s presidential contenders do more to condemn Donald Trump, a businessman turned presidential candidate who’s refusing to apologize for calling Mexican immigrants rapists and drug dealers.

Trump’s comments, delivered in his announcement speech last month, have haunted the GOP for much of the last two weeks and dominated Spanish-language media. It’s bad timing for a Republican Party that has invested significantly in Hispanic outreach in recent years, given the surging influence of the minority vote.

Yet several Republican candidates have avoided the issue altogether, while those who have weighed in have declined to criticize Trump as strongly as many Hispanic leaders would like. SOURCE

Donald Trump is standing his ground and I really like that from him. As long as he sticks to his guns and doesn’t fold like Joe *YOU LIE* Wilson Trump will bring confidence and enthusiasm to Conservatives and to at least a few other candidates.

In a recent interview on Fox News, conservative firebrand Ted Cruz insisted that Trump should not apologize.

“I like Donald Trump,” said Cruz, a Texas senator who is Hispanic. “I think he’s terrific. I think he’s brash. I think he speaks the truth. And I think that NBC is engaging in political correctness that is silly and that is wrong.”

And that is why I am, at this point of the game, supporting Ted Cruz.

Never apologize for being right; never apologize for being correct, and never let the ignorant (m)asses force you to apologize for speaking the truth.

“When do we beat Mexico at the border? They’re laughing at us, at our stupidity. And now they are beating us economically. They are not our friend, believe me… When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They are bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”

Trump spoke MORE truth in that one paragraph than the entire GOP and the Democrats have had the guts to say in several years combined.

Read the full story and see who has said what about Trump and his words, and his blowing them ALL pretty much out of the water with a huge *truth bomb*.

I’m in agreement with Trump, some of the border jumpers are, I assume, good people, but as with every group of people there is always the crowd that’s not here to do the United States well. Remember the Cuban Boat People and how Castro opened his prisons and dumped much of his filth on OUR shores.

So, let’s be realistic here; Trump pissed off some Hispanics. Most of them are going to vote for whoever the Democratic candidate is anyway.

Same story, different decade.

Truth (often-times) hurts! In the short term at least…

When are the Hispanic leaders going to renounce La Raza and Marxism? Screw them. Mexico is not a friend of this country. If they were all the problems along our southern border would be gone.

Why,why, why are WE THE PEOPLE responsible for the welfare of illegal border crossers? If these bleeding heart liberals were so concerned for these poor people, why aren’t they shaming Mexico into doing for their own citizens instead of accepting this outrageous violation of our immigration laws? Our laws were working until they were ignored completely. BROKEN? I think not. The movement afoot here is to dilute the indigenous (read white) peoples with the kind of immigrant that will get the vote and guess what? The more free stuff that is offered, the more democrats get the votes. Trump is speaking truth to power and I hope Ted Cruz stays on track with his current campaign. If the MSM were doing what they are supposed to do, they would make a big difference. They should be informing the public about all the ethnic groups that are nothing more than frontman organizations for the CPUSA and their progressive friends, the labor unions. The Mexican government has strict gun laws. We can see how the progressive dream of gun control has made life in the border towns just marvelous. Police and military have guns and so do the criminals. Whodathunk?

I absolutely agree with everything Fred, Trump and Cruz said. My only gripe is Fred having to use that damnable Associated (Administration) Press as a source. But, then again, even though their story is definitely slanted towards “Spick-speak” I haven’t heard of any “fair & balanced” or decidedly Republican source carrying this story in a truly objective manner - I suppose their tongues are tied when their tail is between their legs.

Why even the orange guy is in on the browning of Europe and America and why he is orange. Wants to fit in. Before long only Russia will have a few white barnacles left. Happy Independence Day to all.

At this point I’ll take Cruz over any of the other runners. I may change my mind.
