Guns, Terrorists, Watch Lists and Governmental Failure

SAN BERNARDINO, CA — The husband-and-wife killers were not under FBI scrutiny before the massacre, said a second U.S. official, who likewise was not authorized to discuss the investigation and spoke on condition of anonymity. SOURCE

These 2 Muslim murderers were NOT on an FBI watch list according to the story but I would bet my bottom dollar that I am on a watch list, as are many of my friends, simply because we are Conservative American patriots, and because I, am a blogger that speaks out and is well known for being a lot less than kind in my assessment of the Obama regime. Oh, and I am pretty sure that my owning a few guns plays into the federal watch list thing too.

I have never dropped the hammer on anyone that wasn’t truly deserving, I have never threatened the security of the United States, I am not an anarchist, I have never tried to overthrow, nor have I ever advocated the overthrow of our government, I have however, openly stated that our government needs to be revamped.

Not that our Constitution needs to be changed so much or the government itself per se, but those that run the government, they need to be changed out regularly, much for the same reason you change a baby’s diaper.

That’s not a threat; it IS a statement of FACT.

Nonetheless, you can bet that I, and many like me are on some government watch-list as a potential terrorist threat. Two actual terrorists weren’t on that list but anyone that has the BALLS to speak out against Obama, the Socialism he espouses or the Islamic beliefs he embraces is deemed to be a threat to the nation. Go figure.

I did hear Hillary Clinton say something tonight that literally shocked me, I actually agreed with her when she said, “If you’re on a *no-fly* list you need to be on a *no buy* list for guns” and I can agree with that, except for this one little thing that my friend and neighbor Capt. Ron mentioned when we talked Thursday afternoon.

Ron said, and I paraphrase, ‘I can agree with that too but what if she were in power and had ALL gun owners placed on a no fly list and used that to turn around the gun laws???’

Capt. Ron is a smart guy.

And on that thought I want to share this as well.

Man’s hoard of nearly 5,000 guns shows ease of amassing arms in U.S

PAGELAND, SC - As sheriff’s investigators threaded past the battered cars, cast-off tires and rusted farm equipment cluttering Brent Nicholson’s front yard, there was no hint of the sinister stockpile hidden behind his windowless front door.

Inside, the guns were everywhere: rifles and shotguns piled in the living room, halls and bedrooms; handguns littering tables and countertops. Outside, when they rolled up the door on the pre-fab metal garage, more arms spilled out at their feet.

“This has completely changed our definition of an ass-load of guns,” said Chesterfield County Sheriff Jay Brooks. Six weeks after the discovery, officers are still cataloging the weapons, many of which have proved stolen, and the final tally is expected to be close to 5,000. “I don’t know if there’s ever been (a seizure) this big anywhere before,” Brooks says. SOURCE

If any of the guns are/were suspected of being stolen I am sure that’s all the justification the LEOs needed to go in and seize the lot of them and sort the matter out but who is in charge of deciding how many guns you can own?

At what point do you go from being an evil gun owner, say like the guy that owns 2 or 3 guns that the Liberals believe to be evil, to becoming a VERY EVIL, sinister even, gun owner that has an arsenal in his home? And what defines an arsenal? Or, as this Sheriff Jay Brooks said so eloquently, “This has completely changed our definition of an ass-load of guns,” How many guns defines an *ass load*?

Enquiring minds want to know.

Once the Crips and Bloods and MS 13, Islamists, skin heads, the Russian, Chinese, Korean and Italian Mafias are on those lists along with all levels of law enforcement given shoot to kill on sight orders whether in the inner cities or at our borders with immunity from prosecution for violating their civil rights then I too will be all for lists. Currently those lists are to keep law abiding citizens in line not the criminals. But in whose best interest would such a fantasy benefit? Surely not the politicians.

ury these 2 killers in freshly skinned PIG SKIN.
    Easily found in that area.
Yes, wrap these 2 Arabs in pigskin!
Let Allah decide what to do with their souls.
Personally, I would throw their bodies in a limb chipper like we all see and hear after a wind storm.
I’d spray all the bloody chippings all over the lawn of the closest Mosque I could find.
    Allah HU Akbar assholes!

Imagine if you can the county, state and federal government entitlements the granny and the jihadist’s orphaned baby will be immediately eligible for; entitlements poor, destitute and needy Americans would have to fight tooth and nail for.

You can’t make this shit up. As far as I’m concerned the no fly list is a joke. I laughed when I read about Ted Kennedy being on the list. Nobody seems to be able to describe the rules covering the decisions made by Homeland Security. Why are these people (ON THE NFL) allowed to have jobs at airports? The elephant in the room is islam and everyone in government is afraid to speak out for fear of offending a muslim, give or take a million or two. Well, not everyone, but the press takes great pleasure vilifying anyone who doesn’t follow the mantra of the religion of peace. We had better be prepared to face the obvious escalation of muslim on infidel crimes that about to be unleashed.

Hard to stop all of the bad elements in this Country. I would think ISIS is doing more than offering these swine eternal life for killing a non-believer.
As in most things in life, follow the money to get your answer.
I think it was Trump that said bomb the oil tanks and their pipe lines. When they run out of money, the recruits will find a new religion. You go in there and wipe them off the face of the earth.
Send the refugees back to their homeland and start over.. It’s not our problem anymore.
Obama can go with them and start his new Kingdom.

Did old Brent actually shoot or harm anyone, or did he just like having guns?

From the storage conditions, many of those weapons would have been rusted to the point of not functioning.

Did they also find a huge horde of ammo?
Guns are of no use without it.

Sort of sounds like me and fishing rods and reels; but, my stuff is well kept and usable.

  6. BobF says:

If you’re a Veteran, especially an Iraq and Afghanistan Veteran, you’re a terrorist threat to America.

    From the Washington Times.

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said Wednesday that she was briefed before the release of a controversial intelligence assessment and that she stands by the report, which lists returning veterans among terrorist risks to the U.S.

  7. OregonBuzz says:

As to “no fly lists” and “suspected terrorist” etc. consider the following.
Keep in mind that, as Senator Rand Paul warned on the Senate floor, Someone Who Has Guns, Ammunition, 7 Days of Food can be considered a potential terrorist. Moreover, a recent report highlights scores of other reasons for why someone may qualify as a domestic terrorist:
So how does a person qualify as a potential domestic terrorist? Based on the training outlines/guidelines I have read, here are characteristics that qualify:
    • Expressions of libertarian philosophies (statements, bumper stickers)
    • Second Amendment-oriented views (NRA or gun club membership, holding a CCW permit)
    • Survivalist literature (fictional books such as “Patriots” and “One Second After” are mentioned by name)
    • Self-sufficiency (stockpiling food, ammo, hand tools, medical supplies)
    • Fear of economic collapse (buying gold and barter items)
    • Religious views concerning the book of Revelation (apocalypse, anti-Christ)
    • Expressed fears of Big Brother or big government
    • Homeschooling
    • Declarations of Constitutional rights and civil liberties
    • Belief in a New World Order conspiracy
And once you’re on the list, there is pretty much no way to get off because the government, citing national security reasons, doesn’t have to release any details and the burden of proof falls on the individual who has been identified as a terrorist, potential terrorist, or someone suspected of being a suspected terrorist.
Keep that last line in mind. Yes you can be “suspected” of being a “suspected” terrorist. Newspeak if I ever heard it. George Orwell would be proud.
Once again, we live in the times that try men’s souls.
