Palin endorses Fiorina in California Senate race

Palin endorses Fiorina in California Senate race

WASHINGTON - Sarah Palin endorsed former Hewlett-Packard chief executive Carly Fiorina in the Republican U.S. Senate primary in California, a lift for the GOP hopeful in a three-way race with an ex-congressman and tea party-backed candidate.

The former vice presidential candidate said on her Facebook page that Fiorina’s experience running a major corporation was sorely lacking in Washington.

“Her fiscal conservatism is rooted in real life experience,” Palin said. “She knows that when government grows, the private sector shrinks under the burden of debt and deficits.”

Fiorina served as an adviser on the McCain-Palin ticket, so they had a working relationship well before Fiorina became a political candidate. Fiorina said she was honored by Palin’s support and that the two shared common ground as political outsiders and fiscal conservatives.

The June 8 primary features Fiorina, former Rep. Tom Campbell and Assemblyman Chuck DeVore. The winner will face Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer in the general election.

Palin endorses Fiorina in California Senate race

I have said it before, I’ll say it again, Palin is all about Palin, that’s it, bottom line.

As I posted yesterday, Politicians such as Palin aren’t the real Tea Party, and that my friends is not just some Palin bashing from the left. I am to the right of Attila the Hun for crying out loud, but I am an America 1st patriot, not a media whore that says whatever pops to mind if I think it will get me a headline. I don’t get $100K every time I speak. I don’t endorse RINOs like McCain, Romney and Rick Perry. Palin does!

If you sleep with dogs, you wake with fleas…

Telling the truth doesn’t always make you popular, and it damn sure doesn’t make you rich. If it did, I would be very well off. But I sleep well at night, and I can look myself in the eye every morning! I honestly don’t know how some people can look in the mirror. Shill baby shill!

Yep, the Tea Party is supposed to be about changing the face of DC, getting AMERICA back to that shining city on the hill. Lately Palin has been throwing support behind folks that are just as bad as the ones that got us in this mess.

What do they say about history? Those that cant remember the past are doomed to repeat it.

Palin endorsing Carly would have been absolutely acceptable with me AFTER the nomination process was complete. California is a different world Fred, it took California a while to be this FKD up, so it will take a long time to get it back. Giving Chuck Devore a chance to win the nomination would have been a welcomed move by Palin. What she has done now is said “I believe this RINO is the best candidate in the race” and that’s not true at all.

Had she endorsed the winner of the R’s Nomination, even if it was Carly that would have been welcomed.

Palin is not too popular here, remember we have Hollywood south and San Fran North…The seat in play is a State seat, If Carly beats Boxer, I would be happy as FK, if Devore managed to win the Nod, and beat Boxer, I’d be proud to call myself a Californian for a while… OK, no I wouldn’t, but it would be a start.

  2. The BoBo says:

I like Fiorina myself - but - she’s not the right person for that position. I’m bettin’ my money on Devore. Now that Palin is supporting Fiorina - this is a sure bet for Devore. Palin is poison now - of her own doing. Palin has proven she’s as conservative as McCain in backing all these moderate progressive candidates.

  3. Robert says:

Bobo, Devore is the right person for the job, but it is CALIFORNIA. California needs someone like DEVORE to represent us, however numbnuts in this state will keep following the liberal democrats right off the cliff.

Fiorina may be a good start who knows, but I tell you what Palin would have been better off staying out of it. Palin throwing her support behind the WEAKER conservative tells a lot IMO. Shows she is a party first person, and that is what we need to move away from.

  4. cary says:

…and to think I used to have some respect for Carly for the way she ran HP - now she goes and stands in Palin’s corner.

Can you say “Political Death Knell?” I knew you could…

  5. minuteman26 says:

With all due respect, Palin has her head up her twat. Devore is the true conservative that will make a difference. Palin obviously doesn’t understand conservatism very well. Palin looks to be a CINO.

  6. TexasFred says:

    Now there’s a mental picture I’ll have nightmares over… 😈

  7. Bloviating Zeppelin says:

Chuck Devore is actually the most conservative of the the candidates to include Tom Campbell, Fiorina and Al Ramirez.

Problem is, you’ve got to have cash to fight Boxer — who is, on a good day, as intelligent as a ficus — but DOES have scads of cash with which to fight, from the DNC and DCCC.

I’m just thinking that Devore isn’t gonna get the proceeds.

    THEREFORE:

I would CHALLENGE all of us who live or do business in Fornicalia, like myself, to go to Devore’s (who is a reserve peace officer in the state) website and donate a chunk of change — much as you comfortably can. I am.

    Money talks.

Mine mostly says “Good-bye”… Ammo isn’t cheap you know! 😐

    TexasFred takes donations too! 😛

  9. Steve Dennis says:

Palin is trying to attach herself to the Tea Party whenever it is convenient, yet she consistantly backs candidates who are not backed by the Tea Party, she is trying to have it both ways, How can Fiorina say with a straight face that Palin is not a political insider?

  10. Patrick Sperry says:

Can you spell Loser? Can you spell Quitter? Can you spell RINO?

I knew ya’ could as Cary said…

    Give me a P!

    Give me an A!

    Give me an L!

    Give me an I!

    Give me an N!

Look, I like the lady. But only to a point. I’d love to have her along for a Caribou hunt, as an example. Perhaps assisting in making some Alaska Black Powder Ale home brew.

But as a leader in any form or manner in government?

    Forget her…
