No, we aren’t capable of it, but He is. That is why this day brings hope - distant though it may seem sometimes. Merry Christmas, Fred.

As long as the earth is governed by men, we aren’t capable of it (men as in human, not the sex)

Damn, now that’s a Christmas present that keeps giving huh? LMAO

Yeah Fred goodwill towards men and all that, AIN’T our nature bro. It seems throughout time violence has become a way of life and I see no end to it.
Even in the most peaceful countries on earth, violent crime occurs.

I guess that’s what happens when a book is written that is supposed to guide men but the interpretations are up for grabs.

I reckon not…not really. It seems since the beginning of society there have been too types of man..those who have and those who have not and the struggle between the two has gone on every since.

One of the Commandments of Moses was “Thou Shalt Not Covet”

This desire for the possessions of others apparently at least went back that far and that was 3500 years ago or so.

There has been some days of peace in places on earth and no doubt there will be again…but peace and true freedom are seldom found in the same place!

Yeah, I think you guys right, I guess I get to thinking too much at this time of year, retrospect and all that, wondering WHY when all standing around me died and I didn’t, wondering about the evil that men do, all the whys and wherefores, I get like this occasionally, philosophical, and that isn’t my best side…

But Peace on Earth has been something I have dreamed of for years, more so since my children were born, and now my grandchildren…

I think it was said best here:

There can only be peace when they will start to love their children more than they hate us. … Prime Minister Golda Meir

I’m going to have Peace in this World even if I have to kill everyone on it.

Damn straight, Ranando. Count me in. Hand me that FN-FAL.

Sometimes, I tell you Fred, I am tasked. I am really tasked.

It’s probably best I just stop right now.
