Mexican police, migrant smugglers open fire: 2 die
August 5th, 2008 . by TexasFredVERACRUZ, Mexico (AP) - Two people are dead after a shootout between Mexican police and smugglers driving a truck carrying illegal immigrants.
Police caught up with the truck near the town of Agua Dulce in southeast Mexico. The town’s police chief, Jose Atenedoro, says the smugglers then opened fire on officers, starting a shootout and car chase. The chase ended when the truck crashed into a ditch.
Gunfire killed two people, while about 30 of the 42 immigrants hidden in the truck were injured in the crash Monday. Both of the men killed were migrants.
The driver tried to escape, but was caught by police.
Officials say the immigrants were from Honduras, El Salvador and Ecuador.

Maybe the FBI needs to be informed. The Mexicans are killing illegal immigrants passing through Mexico en-route to the USA.
Recently I was threatened by a loony blog troll with being turned over to the FBI for making *hate speech* and racist remarks in my blog, and for inciting violence against the *poor downtrodden immigrants* that only want to make a better life for themselves. I think the premise was that I advocated shooting the ILLEGALS down on sight.
OK, lets make it easy on our poor overworked FBI guys and gals, this way they don’t have to scour my blog looking for what I said.
Round up and deport the ILLEGALS, they are called ILLEGAL for a reason. I have never said to *shoot ALL ILLEGALS on sight*, I have said to deport ALL ILLEGALS.
The part that gets the troll confused is this, the border control part. I DID say we need to man our borders with troops, National Guard troops, and I DID say those troops need to placed under orders to SHOOT TO KILL anything crossing our border at anything *other* than a LEGAL border crossing, and somehow, I thought that even a dimwit could grasp that part, I guess I was wrong.
If calling for the ILLEGALS that are invading our nation to be repelled by any means necessary makes me guilty of *HATE SPEECH*, well, there ya go, guilty as charged.
If by wanting to stand up and defend America I am guilty of what some perceive to be *HATE SPEECH*, well OK, I am guilty of *HATE SPEECH*.
And if by saying that I want to defend this nation and want to STOP the ILLEGALS that are raping this nation blind makes me a BAD American, call the FBI and tell em, TexasFred is a hate mongering bad American.
I know that’ll make their day… And by the way, I believe that my speech, in MY blog, is a protected right, I think it’s called the 1st Amendment of the U.S. Constitution if I am not mistaken.
Unless the Constitution has been recently suspended I am allowed to speak my mind in my blog, it’s called FREE SPEECH, and those that would limit MY free speech are the true unAmericans and the danger to this nation that they would have others believe me to be.

Nope, never “heard” you say ‘shoot ‘em on sight’. And they can scour all the bloggers who comment here. Nowhere have I seen advocating for the firing squad.
On the other hand, if they are sneaking over the border, don’t we have a right to defend our HOME? This is our home, the US of A! This isn’t an extension of Central America! Seems to me Fred, you were the one who got ‘torqued’ when Joe ‘what’s his name’ opened fire and killed those two illegals robbing his neighbor’s house. So I don’t think you necessarily advocate ‘killing illegals,’ nor do I think that defend our borders at all costs constitutes ‘hate speech’. I don’t believe you have yelled Fire in a crowded room, nor do I believe you have incited a crowd to riot. I am not a constitutional lawyer, but I don’t think being racist is a crime either. It may be an undesirable characteristic, but it certainly isn’t a violation of the law.
Remember, the First Amendment does NOT protect us from being offended.

The United States is a sovereign nation. We have rules. One of those rules is that we allow immigrants, based on a percentage, to enter and apply to become citizens. We allow these immigrants to enter at Ports of Entry. Anyone entering this country at other than a Port of Entry is considered an illegal immigrant, or as some beer-drinking, bog-dwelling redneck racists (myself included) like to call them, invaders. They are breaking the law of the country and of warfare, by making unauthorized entry to a country other their own. The United States is constrained by Politically Correct BS from guarding our borders from these invaders, because it might hurt their feelings.
Mexico is a sovereign nation, also. They have much stricter rules, and have armed guards on their southern border. They shoot to kill those trying to enter their country illegally. When some of these invaders DO manage to get across the border without being infected with high-speed lead poisoning, they are pursued like the criminals they are. (the leadership of the United States needs to take a lesson here)
When it is suggested that the US arm the border guards and shoot any not entering at authorized points (again, called Ports of Entry) there are some people in the US (who are double-secret agents of the far-stupid) who believe that those holding this view should be reported as criminals fomenting hate. They also believe that any who make it across the border without perishing should be awarded with citizenship AHEAD of those who stand in line and politely wait their turn without breaking any laws. The people who feel this way are stupid.

As for illegal immigration, this reminds me of the racism from another sector of our population. It is okay for African Americans to refer to each other as the n-word, but if an non-black says it, they are racist. Sometimes you are a racist just if you don’t agree with someone of a different (ie non Caucasian) origin.
There are legal immigrants and illegal immigrants; there are legal left hand turns and illegal left hand turns. They both exist, but one has different consequences than the other.

The 1st amendment is being taken away from us under the guise of classifying every phrase that displeases the “illegals- have-a-right-to-be-in-the-U.S.” crowd or the more dangerous Islamic stealth invaders as “hate speech.
The FBI, infiltrated by Islamics as well as believers in, for whatever reason, that the word “illegals” is a dirty word and really means “everybody in the world has a legal right to enter the United States,” is acting as the watchdog of Islamics and illegals.
Does the term “Gestapo” bring back unpleasant memories? How ’bout KGB? Or what about a “political security police” that Obama has in store for us? Will the FBI willingly accepts that assignment?
Frankly, it doesn’t matter if you did say they should be shot. That’s the nature of free speech, and if Lefty wackos can call for the assassination of Bush, Cheney, etc., you could certainly call for shooting illegal aliens (if you wanted to).
