Palin: Democrats spreading misinformation and lies

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on Thursday blamed supporters of the Democratic presidential ticket for spreading “misinformation and flat-out lies” about her and her family.

But her spokeswoman said Obama’s campaign was not responsible, even though a Palin fundraising letter named the Democratic ticket with the words: “the Obama-Biden Democrats have been vicious in their attacks directed toward me, my family and John McCain.”

The Obama campaign has raised questions about Palin’s qualifications based on her six years as mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, and less than two years as governor, but Obama himself has said her family should be off-limits. He also said he would fire any staffer who talks about it.

Palin spokeswoman Maria Comella said: “We appreciate the fact that he came out and condemned this kind of personal attack.” Asked whether Palin thought Obama or his running mate, Delaware Sen. Joe Biden, were personally responsible for the attacks mentioned in the letter, Comella said, “No.”

Asked who was to blame, the spokeswoman said, “You want me to tick through all the stuff that’s been ticking through all the blogs the past few days? What about the stuff that was on Daily Kos, that rumor that was spread?”

OK, just for the heck of it, lets list Sarah Palin’s qualifications, she started and ran her own business, she ran for and was elected as the Mayor of Wasilla, Alaska. She served for 6 years in that position. She ran for and was elected to the office of Governor of the State of Alaska. ALL are positions of ADMINISTRATION, you are responsible for the success of your business, your city and your state, and it appears that Palin must have done something right, she has an 86% approval ranking from the folks OF Alaska!

Her job approval rating is astoundingly high with an 86% overall approval rating and 63% strongly approving of her job performance. Independents approve by a margin of 86% - 10% and there is absolutely no gender gap. 97% of Republicans approve of the job she is doing as do 75% of Democrats. She receives high job approval ratings across all regions of Alaska. SOURCE: Palin’s Popularity In Alaska

So, lets take a look at Obama and his qualifications.

He gained his seat as JUNIOR Senator in Illinois mostly because Jack Ryan became embroiled in a serious case of marital indiscretion in which he reportedly took his wife, actress Jeri Ryan, to various clubs, specifically in New York, New Orleans, and Paris and coerced her to have sex in front of other people: US Senate Race - Illinois in 2004

He beat a Republican asshat that thought his wife was something that was to be exhibited by engaging in sexual acts in public places. Well, it’s no wonder he won that Senate seat, what real competition did Obama have? So, give Obama that victory over a slimy SOB that took the name Republican down into the sewer with him.

Lets see, what else? Well, he is an orator, as long as he has a working teleprompter. He was a community organizer. He’s friends with Rashid Khalidi an alleged member of the PLO. He’s friends with William Ayers, a known terrorist and anarchist, and then there’s his relationship with Tony Rezko, a nefarious character at best…

Oh, and I almost forgot, there’s that pesky little dust up with Jeremiah Wright and how he truly feels about America. You DO remember Wright don’t you?? Obama’s pastor for over 20 years?? The one that Obama had this to say about, “That is NOT the man I have known” as he threw him under the bus?? Yeah, that guy…

Let’s look at this as it really is. Sarah Palin is more qualified to become President of this USA than Barack Obama ever will dream of being. Palin is running for Vice President, and she’s still more qualified as an administrator than all 3 of the others in the POTUS/VP race..

I am NOT spreading rumors and lies. I am not Kos or Democratic Underground. I don’t engage in anything other than facts and reality. The fact of the matter is this, Sarah Palin is the best choice John McCain could have ever made, and she is the reason that I am supporting McCain..

Just got off the phone with my CCOusin who lives in Cordova AK

Alaskans are very upset that they are going to loose ‘their girl.’

According to TJ, even the Dems love what she has done, and are very proud of who she is.

And I too am proud of Sarah Palin.

The Dem/Commies are beginning to believe they’ve fallen into warm dog shit and are becoming desperate. I was on DU earlier today and the hysteria is running high.

Or, in Palin’s own words: “I suppose being the mayor of a small town is a little like a community activist — only with responsibility.”

I disagree with McCain’s stance on immigration but other than that I can either agree or at least see where he is coming from. And I think that he is our best option to do something constructive about illegal immigration..hell, McCain is a warrior..he might just decide to annex Latin America and then we would have no illegal immigration..and all of Chavez’s oil!

This time I am not sure that my vote will be for the lessor of the two evils..it might just be that John McCain and Saracuda are what we need to put this country back on the track that has made us a great nation…a nation that gives us the opportunity to succeed..and fall on our butts…and that’s all that we should ever ask for..opportunity..what we do with it is up to us.

Obama actually ended up beating Alan Keyes, who replaced the incumbent in the race.

Obama’s claim to fame during that election was claiming that the Republican party was racist for putting a black candidate up against him.

But shhhh, we’re not allowed to talk about his past…

Speaking about Obama’s “freinds”…O’reilly is our only shot to get those questions answered. I like O’Reilly, but I think he is going to be soft on those issues. I hope I am wrong. Obama needs to address those questions and ANSWER them.

As far as Palin goes, what more can we expect for KOS, MoveOn, and the rest of them. I think that it will help her in the end. They are making fools of themselves and the mainstream media (since it seems that the mainstream media gets their stories from the KOS and others like them). I say we just sit back and let it happen. Palin can (even though she shouldn’t have to) take it!
