Obama Justice Department Decision Will Allow Non-Citizens to Register to Vote in Georgia

June 2nd, 2009 . by TexasFred

Decision Bars Georgia From Continuing Voter Verification Process

Atlanta - “The decision by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) to deny preclearance of Georgia’s already implemented citizenship verification process shows a shocking disregard for the integrity of our elections. With this decision, DOJ has now barred Georgia from continuing the citizenship verification program that DOJ lawyers helped to craft. DOJ’s decision also nullifies the orders of two federal courts directing Georgia to implement the procedure for the 2008 general election. The decision comes seven months after Georgia requested an expedited review of the preclearance submission.

“DOJ has thrown open the door for activist organizations such as ACORN to register non-citizens to vote in Georgia’s elections, and the state has no ability to verify an applicant’s citizenship status or whether the individual even exists. DOJ completely disregarded Georgia’s obvious and direct interest in preventing non-citizens from voting, instead siding with the ACLU and MALDEF. Clearly, politics took priority over common sense and good public policy.

“This process is critical to protecting the integrity of our elections. We have evidence that non-citizens have voted in past Georgia elections and that more than 2,100 individuals have attempted to register, yet still have questions regarding their citizenship. Further, the Inspector General’s office is investigating more than 30 cases of non-citizens casting ballots in Georgia elections, including the case of a Henry County non-citizen who registered to vote and cast ballots in 2004 and 2006.

“It is important to underscore that not a single person has come forward to say he or she could not vote because of the verification process. Further, while DOJ argues that the process is somehow discriminatory, the historic voter turnout among Hispanic and African-American voters in the 2008 general elections clearly says otherwise.

“This decision provides a specific example of the inherently illogical and unfair nature of Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act. It is a sad day for the rights of our state and for the integrity of our elections. I remain committed to continuing the fight for citizenship verification. In the coming days, I will consider every option available to the state, including the possibility of legal action.”

Ladies and Gentlemen, let me ask ALL of you, do you know what the REAL cause of the American Civil War was? The War of Northern Aggression and Repression. Let’s have a show of hands, or the like. Was the cause of that war:

1. Economic and social differences between the North and the South.
2. States versus federal rights.
3. The fight between Slave and Non-Slave State Proponents.
4. Growth of the Abolition Movement.
5. The election of Abraham Lincoln.
6. The preservation of the Union
7. All of the above.
8. None of the above.

This link: Top Five Causes of the Civil War is where I got the top 5, the last 3 are my options. I have NEVER bought into the slavery issue being the cause of the Civil War, there were numerous Northern slave holders prior to emancipation.

The Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic States, including Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey, had legally sanctioned slavery in the 17th, 18th and even part of the 19th centuries, but in the generation or two before the American Civil War, almost all slaves had been emancipated through a series of statutes. SOURCE: Northern Slave States

We all know that slavery was wrong, we have ALL heard that slavery was THE cause of the Civil War, but it was not. It may have been a contributing factor, but it was NOT the one and only reason for the War Between the States.

STATES RIGHTS folks, that was the primary cause of the conflict. No matter what anyone tells you, States Rights was the primary reason that the Civil War was fought. Today we are seeing the exact same thing, history IS repeating itself. It’s been coming for a long time. Now Barack Hussein Obama has rapidly escalated his efforts to infringe upon STATES RIGHTS. He and his minions, at Obama’s direction, particularly the DOJ and one Eric Holder, attempt to turn this USA into a socialist, Marxist, communist nation dominated by Sharia law and liberal mentality.

Texas has sent their Sovereignty Resolution from the Texas House to the Texas Senate. HCR 50 We are well on our way to a declaration my friends. The Secessionist Movement is alive and well in Texas, and it’s the actions that this story presents, those in Georgia, that makes me honestly believe, ALL states MUST declare their SOVEREIGNTY from the USA and the Obama Nation.

Once sovereignty has been established, let the chips fall where they may, if secession and returning Texas to it’s original inception as a REPUBLIC, a free and independent REPUBLIC is the way we must go, then so be it!

This entire nation is on the brink of collapse, some of us will NOT sit idly by and watch our self sufficient states go down with the rest of the nation, not when those states have the power at their fingertips to rectify the travesty known as The Obamessiah…

We are heading towards another Civil War and this time the Union might not survive. Whose fault will that be? Obama’s! For it will be on his watch. Let us hope he doesn’t get his private army in place before then.

This is utter bovine feces… he wants another un-civil war? This is exactly the type of thing that will lead to it.

Want to know the “cause” of the War of Northern Aggression for my direct descendants? It’s called Night Riders in Union uniforms aided by Jayhawkers in the killing of our women among other such things. There was a reason why Quantrill and Bloody Bill were so vicious. It was called payback…

It will take another “Continental Congress” complete with a Declaration and a Constitution - this time, written out in plain language that won’t need any lawyers or judges to “interpret” what We, The NEW Founders, intended.

Freedoms will be written into the main document.

    No amendments will be allowed.

Term limits will exist from the beginning.

And the Former United States Administration will be banned from participating in ANY political party. All of them. Even the dogcatcher, if you have to elect one, will be banned from politics for the rest of their lives.

While we mourn the passing of the Greatest Country in the World, we will celebrate the New Beginning.

    1. Economic and social differences between the North and the South.
    2. States versus federal rights.

    5. The election of Abraham Lincoln.
    6. The preservation of the Union

These were the causes of the Northern War of Aggression or actually The Northern War Against Southern Secession.

Slavery did not become an issue for two years, then a political decision was made so as to stalemate any interference from Europe.

On a personal note, we have become a nation of Wuzzies. If it is not at the Mall, we want no part of it.

There was a reason only white land owning males were allowed to vote.

I’m afraid, Fred, the Man From Illinois will act as The First Man From Illinois did. The difference is this time, I do not believe our men and women in uniform will fire on their brothers, sisters, Mommas, and Daddies.

Shooterman: It appears that folks like Oath Keepers and some Mom’s and Dad’s that have raised their service member and police children well have ALL done their jobs!! :P

    Let’s hope so, Fred.

When can I start bringing all my guns and ammo down to Texas? I can’t stand this crapola that the Fucktard-In-Thief is serving up to the CITIZENS of this country.

Allowing non-citizens to vote……..that will be the final nail in the Constitutions coffin!!! Of course, what else would one expect from the “Muslim/Marxist-in-Chief” or his DOJ lackey “Lets-use-Tanks-and-Burn’em-Down Holder”.

Ladies and gentlemen we don’t have much time. If the “Kenyan prince” gets his army we’ll have a much harder fight!

Since one person can not fight by himself and succeed, I personally am for secession….just as soon as possible! We’ll let the Marxist sympathizers leave peacefully. We should have lots of good solid folks, who believe in the Constitution immigrating to our Wonderful Sovereign Republic in a very short time. Actually we’ll need to do some very good planning to make room for them. We’ll also likely form a loose confederation among the Sovereign States who follow our lead in seceding from the United Marxist States Of America.

Hopefully this won’t be all wishful thinking.

Our motto could be …….Seceed to Succeed!

    KEEP YOU POWDER DRY!

As I said prior to the 2006 elections, “We are in a great civil war of words; a precursor to anarchy and violence.”

    Here’s my entire quote:

“We are in a great civil war of words; a precursor of anarchy and violence.”

The above quote although not entirely from me, I do take credit for its entirety with the semi-colon addition. I do not know the number of times I’ve used the verbiage either orally or when writing, but none-the-less it has gone unheeded. And that’s a huge problem.

The difficulties we face as a nation are the greatest since we first lost blood ties to Europe, especially with Great Britain. For after several generations of native-born Americans the distance of time enhanced that of measure.
With these criteria separating us from those that controlled the civility and un-just laws from afar it was less difficult to declare an independence that led to war with which was once considered our homeland or mother country. The revolution that ensued was a remedy as so stated in the Declaration of Independence…declaring us from the royal elite that would not listen to the voices of the people.

Today we have a politic elite who will not listen. They rule from afar. For Washington D.C. has become very distant from the hearts and minds of the people.

It might be good to start by pushing the tenth amendment. But keep in mind the idea that the 2nd amendment is the one that insures all the others… but hope it doesn’t come to that.

  12. comment number 12 by: BobF

I didn’t think the DOJ had the authority to override a state law or court orders? But, this is the DOJ that just dropped the voter intimidation charges against the Black Panthers

  13. comment number 13 by: TexasFred

Larry, the 2A only matters if we have a government that is run legally and with ethics, we don’t have that…

If it comes to armed insurrection, the 2A won’t matter again until the constitution of this nation is liberated from the hands of the nasty sons a bitches that are holding it hostage!

And let me also make a heinous suggestion of which many persons are not, purposely or otherwise cognizant, and that is this:

The American Civil War was ostensibly about slavery, yes; but it was every bit as much about STATES RIGHTS as well.

    Cogitate on that one, America.

As a Veteran I could just cry when I think of what kind of shape our Country is in right now. I am so glad that I don’t have to serve under this Usurper, however, I have lots of friends and family that are, and my prayers go out to them.
The one thing that confuses me, and maybe someone can clear it for me, if there was a Civil War would that do any good? We’ve been sold. China owns us now. How do we ever get out of that mess? Not to be pessimistic, this country has the smartest Men and Women in it in the world. But as a mother, I fear for my daughters future. We are Christian, American Loving, hard working, people and it seems like we are being pushed out by the illegals. Not just Wetbacks, all of them. I am so glad that I am a Texan and live in Texas. We all love our country in my neck of the Woods. We just abhor the people that are SELLING us out.
