HONOLULU (AP) - Birthers beware: Hawaii may start ignoring your repeated requests for proof that President Barack Obama was born here.
As the state continues to receive e-mails seeking Obama’s birth certificate, the state House Judiciary Committee heard a bill Tuesday permitting government officials to ignore people who won’t give up.
“Sometimes we may be dealing with a cohort of people who believe lack of evidence is evidence of a conspiracy,” said Lorrin Kim, chief of the Hawaii Department of Health’s Office of Planning, Policy and Program Development.
So-called “birthers” claim Obama is ineligible to be president because, they argue, he was actually born outside the United States, and therefore doesn’t meet a constitutional requirement for being president.

There’s rarely a day that goes by that I don’t get at least one email from a reader wanting me to write on this topic. There are those that want me to do a full investigation on the legitimacy of Barack Hussein Obama and his birth records and then spill the beans for all the world to see.
Here’s the honest truth. I detest Barack Hussein Obama, I feel that he is a poser, a sham of a man, an anti-American Islamic plant, the Manchurian candidate if you will. Every fiber of my being screams out that he is everything we believe him to be, a person dead set on destroying the United States of America.
Those are MY feelings and opinions concerning one Barack Hussein Obama.
Alas, I am NOT an investigative service. I am a retired American getting by on my retirement income and I don’t have the ability to DO that full investigation, even if I wanted to. There are far too many others that have done an investigation, and so far, they have come up empty. Why should I waste my time, my meager funds and what time I have left in an effort to prove, or disprove, as the case may be, the birthplace and legitimacy of this person?
Hawaii Health Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino issued statements last year and in October 2008 saying that she’s seen vital records that prove Obama is a natural-born American citizen.
I have heard of people that claim to have seen Elvis at Wal-Mart, seen the image of Jesus in the bark of a tree, seen the Virgin Mary in the crust of a grilled cheese sandwich, those things have all been claimed, them, and many more, but, a claim doesn’t necessarily make it so.
Dr. Chiyome Fukino may very well have seen it, I don’t want to call the doctor a liar. But Dr. Fukino claiming to have seen the birth certificate isn’t going to satisfy the curiosity of the masses. I know that the claims of the good doctor don’t offer me any particular solace.
A few of these requesters continue to pepper the Health Department with the same letters seeking the same information, even after they’re told state law bars release of a certified birth certificate to anyone who does not have a tangible interest. Responding wastes time and money, Kim said.
Let’s examine that one line, anyone who does not have a tangible interest, and think about the ramifications OF that line for a moment.
Don’t ALL Americans have a tangible interest in this? Don’t we, as citizens of the United States of America, have a right to SEE the real, actual and certified birth certificate of the President of this nation?
Isn’t the President of the United States of America required, under the laws of the Constitution, to be a natural born citizen of this nation and to provide undisputed truth of such? Wouldn’t that, in and of itself, give every American citizen a tangible interest in the legitimacy of Barack Hussein Obama?
Both Fukino and the state registrar of vital statistics have verified that the Health Department holds Obama’s original birth certificate.
As I stated earlier, claims are one thing, proof is an entirely different matter. How do we, the American citizens, know, for a 100% certainty, that this doctor and state registrar are telling the truth?
If this was a game of poker, you’d have to say it’s time to show your hand, you have been called. And as in the game of poker, there are winning hands, there are losing hands and then there’s people that bluff. Wouldn’t it expedite matters if they simply produced the birth certificate and put this entire issue to rest?
“Do we really want to be known internationally as the Legislature that blocked any inquiries into where President Obama was born?” asked Rep. Cynthia Thielen, R-Kaneohe-Kailua. “When people want to get more information, the way to fuel that fire is to say, ‘We’re now going to draw down a veil of secrecy.’”
That veil of secrecy, a less than transparent presidency, is pretty much what the American people have come to expect from the Obama administration and his protectors.
We are a nation led by a LIAR. He surrounds himself with a cabinet filled with crooks, he relies on associates that should be in prison. His minions are a group comprised of tax cheats, perverts, homosexuals, Communists, avowed socialists, and other assorted America haters. That is what runs the once great nation that was the United States of America.
Barack Hussein Obama and his cohorts are doing everything within their power to fully usurp the constitution on the United States, why would they be concerned with a tiny little detail like the citizenship and birthplace of the President?
They have a nation to destroy, they can’t let legitimacy and birthright stand in their way!
I feel the same way that I’m more than uncomfortable with only 2 people on planet earth being the only ones to have “seen” this more than likely imaginary document. Especially when those 2 are elected officials.
This to me right there says it may not be his birthplace that’s the problem on that paper if it’s even there or these two are gonna get “taken care of later” for their cooperation with the Manchurian Muslim President I-N-O…
Personally, I want to see all of his school records. I want to see what he wrote, if anything at all, as prez of the Harvard Law Review. I want to see ALL his education records.
The birth certificate? Well, wouldn’t the school records have that sort of information too? Just wondering.
This is one of those things that just won’t go away, even, I suspect, if the real long-form birth certificate were to be produced.
However, Obama perpetuates this controversy by refusing to release the certificate, and by withholding normal school records and documents from public scrutiny, which he may be doing to prevent negative information from getting out, or to just keep the controversy going.
RE: tangible interest, legally one must have “standing” before the court to bring an action, and in this case that means specific things. I wrote about this a while back (Observations: Courts sometimes thwart justice) in case anyone is interested.
The measure of standing is that “it is not enough that a person is merely interested as a member of the general public in the resolution of the dispute. The person must have a personal stake in the outcome of the controversy,” which means some harm or disadvantage must result to the person bringing the suit.
A sad state of affairs.
I still don’t believe those folks in Hawaii. It is simple logic folks. If you don’t have anything to hide,and you want or are, a public figure you should make these things known without all the run a rounds.
I had to come up with a Birth certificate for my hazmat endorsement with TSA. Same for my Paramedic Certificate. Can you say basic drivers License as well? The list just goes on and on really…

In order to become a police officer, I had to provide proof of almost every aspect of my life. In fact, along with a 20 something page application requiring at least 5 notiaries of different affidavits, I also had to bring my ORIGINAL birth certificate, all my diplomas, marriage license, social security card, driver license and a few other documents that were verified and copied and given back to me. My potential employer did not rely on my claims that any copies I provided were correct. If any originals came under question, you had to provide a notarized release which the department would mail to the issuing agency (hospital, school, credit bureau, etc.) for the information and original documents be sent directly to them. If they didn’t get ALL of this documentation requested, you were no longer considered a potential candidate. I even had to have ALL of my official school transcripts (which are records I request and pay for to be sent from my school directly to my potential employer) so that I nor anyone else never got a chance to intervene in the record production (this avoided any unofficial changes by the presenter. This included every school from high school on up, including my law school transcripts. The public has access to the schools I went to, each and every single class I took and the grades I received. This was all so that I could obtain the right to issue a traffic citation to any citizen I deemed necessary. Obama has a slightly higher authority than I did and has produced a lot less…seems a little “unbalanced” to me.

Most likely an Indonesian Passport, because he attended Occidental College in California on a fully paid for scholarship from The Fullbright Foundation under the name of Barry Sotero, from Indonesia.
Yes, this is confirmed from Occidential College Records just recently released by the Registrar of Occidental College.
The name on all documents is Barry Sotero from INDONESIA.
Also, no American citizen can get a Fullbright Scholarship,, as it is exclusively for foreigners from other countries. USA Citizens prohibited.
Results? I believe that Barry Sotero and Barak Hussein Obama, one and the same person, did in fact do these acts.
Does this make him a non-citizen here in the USA.

Barry’s father was a British citizen, and his mother was under the age of 21, and both of these facts also dis-qualify Barry as a natural-born USA citizen.
These requirements are mandated in our CONSTITUTION.

MrChuck, you certainly said a mouth full. Like you I would like to see the records from Occidental, something has a foul smell there and will eventually come out. This guy, is without doubt a fraud and imposter on an unprecedented level. He may or may not have been born in Hawaii, but everything points to him obtaining fraudulent admission to Occidental. I also suspect his grades there were less than stellar, but then I really have no problem with the grades. I only get sick of hearing the MSM telling us what a great mind he has. As far as I can see the only thing great about it is his deviousness.
You hit a note on the numbers on welfare in this country. When that number goes over 50% we are indeed screwed for they will never bite the hand that feeds them. This is something almost impossible to overcome. It seems at the present time we have about 50% of the folks supporting 100% of the population—themselves and the other 50% on welfare of some type!
The bad thing about Barack Hussein Obama’s birth is not where he was born, but the mere fact he was born.
About 60+ yrs ago in my father home country of Germany, a fanatic who was Austrian by birth became one of the world’s most feared man. My father always said NEVER FORGET HISTORY FOR IT WILL REPEAT ITSELF IF FORGOTTEN….touche’ father. I may be seeing what you and your family endured under Hitler in my own back yard.
What is there to hide? I suspect that there are many minor details that have been hidden. The man is a manufactured product and there is much that has never been disclosed. Minor details such as filing for financial aid with differing national status might be a problem. I have no problem showing my BC to any entity that requests it.

I would love for them to SHOW US THE MONEY as this sham of a president who is a Muslim(his father was a Muslim and that makes him a Muslim, read the Koran and study Islam) I am convinced there are facts being hidden and this man, the mullah obamaham whom I loathe, has much to hide, His entire administration now operates in deep secrecy behind closed doors in almsot everything they do.
