Rep. Maxine Waters to face ethics charges

WASHINGTON (AP) — A House investigative panel has decided to charge Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters of California with ethics violations, raising the possibility of a second high-profile trial with political implications for Democrats this fall.

People familiar with the investigation, who were not authorized to be quoted about unannounced charges, say the allegations could be announced next week. The House ethics committee declined Friday to make any public statement on the matter.

Waters has been under investigation for a possible conflict of interest involving a bank that was seeking federal aid. Her husband owned stock in the bank.

New York Democrat Rep. Charles Rangel also faces an ethics trial this fall on separate charges that included failure to disclose assets and income, nonpayment of taxes and doing legislative favors for donors to a college center named after him.

Rep. Maxine Waters to face ethics charges

Ya know, this just isn’t looking good for the Dems but I’m fairly certain that if they did ANY serious digging at all, they would find grounds to place at least 75% of the House on trial for ethics violations.

To paraphrase from the Rangel post: “But Waters can’t be unethical, she’s an esteemed, long serving elected official. This is being done strictly because Maxine Waters is Black and the entire U.S. Congress is a bunch of racists.”Ethics Inquiry of Rangel Finds Evidence of Violations

Both Waters and Rangel are prominent members of the Congressional Black Caucus. Dual ethics trials would be a major political liability for Democrats, forcing them to defend their party’s ethical conduct while trying to hold on to their House majority.

Those people on the House ethics committee are obviously racists. How dare they bring charges against Rangel and Waters NOW? Surely they must ALL be members of the Congressional WHITE Caucus.

Wait… There is NO Congressional WHITE Caucus. :?

Waters came under scrutiny after former Treasury Department officials said she helped arrange a meeting between regulators and executives at Boston-based OneUnited Bank without mentioning her husband’s financial ties to the institution.

Well, you know, you need to give Maxine a break. It just slipped her mind, there was no criminal intent, these guys at Treasury are a bunch of TEA Party racists and are only picking on Waters because she’s BLACK!

The real Maxine Waters. WARNING: LANGUAGE ALERT!

That is an example of Maxine Waters and her supporters. I don’t know what it has to do with this particular charge of ethics violations, but I found it interesting, and thought my readers may too!

Only 75%? I’m at the point, if you picked the good characteristics out of all of ‘em, you might come up with one or two completely ethical “public servants”. Sure would look funny though. Frankenstein’s monster comes to mind.

Kate — I said AT LEAST 75%… Not “Only 75%”

Maxine Waters is a black racist, a marxist, a crook and a traitor to this nation. Hope I didn’t miss anything. The people that voted for this quiff have to be two bricks short of a load.

While I’m loving the fact these racist bastards are being brought up, I have to wonder, why now? They want us to focus on one hand while something else is going on and I’m real damn suspicious of what that could be-what’s really going on behind that curtain Mr. Wizard? Ya’ know?

Think about it folks, these are the leaders CHOSEN by the American public to represent our country.

Might as well face it, the American public is a bunch of stupid motherf***ers.

If this is exemplary of the “best & brightest”, then I guess we deserve what we’ve got. It’s a damn shame.

Why is it that the Negro population at large vote into political office or follow such scammers as Maxine Waters, Adam Clayton Powell, both Sr. and Jr., Charles Rangel, William Jefferson, Malcolm X, Jesse Jackson, Jesse Jackson Jr., Al Sharpton, Elijah Mohammad, Martin Luther King??????

Black slaves were abolished way back in 1865, one hundred and forty five years ago. Why does every city in the USA have black ghettos?
Why do the the blacks start riots and burn their own neighborhoods down?

Why is it that just about everything the blacks touch or possess turn into a pile of crap?

Now the things blacks are good at: robbing, stealing, baby mamas, baby daddy’s, football, rap music, bling, filling our prisons and jails up, getting on welfare, dealing drugs.

After the Civil war in 1865, the black population was low. Now it is 12 percent of our population, and growing rapidly.

Frankly speaking, I am tired of all this, and stay totally away from being involved, or living close by to their neighborhoods. Lots of our cities now look like the newsreels from Haiti.

Blacks in politics, well they are there to get rich, steal everything they can, and hide behind their position of power.

Bluto, I love your outlook on the American public, especially the ones that voted for this bunch of scurvy bastards.

My God, HOW frikken dumb they must be, but then, I truly believe it has nothing to do with who they are, but what color they are. That reason has surfaced several times since that halfbreed Muslim prick got elected because of his color and lies. Yes, THEY deserve exactly what they get but I have to live with it too. There are 25-27% still out there that would vote for these bastards again & again & again and that’s a sickening thought.

My last comment didn’t go through for some reason. Here it is again.

I think the Republicans need to take a page out of the Democrats - Book of Strategies

” Let no DISASTER go to WASTE.” They need to jump on these wagons and ride them all the way through the next couple of elections. Maybe then the idiots will see what fools they were to believe them….show all their lies and cheating. After that they might vote for what is RIGHT…instead of what is RACE.

Larfin my big ol’ white ass off. . .

The best thing we could do right now is cut off the unemployment benefits that lead to this shit. I mean, some of these folks out in Louisiana are having 9-10 babies just so that they get a healthy check in the mail and they don’t have to go to work!

We’re 75% white, but if these policies like this keep up that number will go down pretty quickly. Meanwhile, we have 30 million illegals hanging out in the US and crying about how they’re being mistreated, getting all of the benefits of being an illegal without all of the responsibilities of a citizen. People who will overwhelmingly support Obama simply because he will keep their gravy train going while they sit their lazy ass at home and collect their hefty unemployment checks. We say “Stay out of America.” and yet we will give them jobs, drivers licenses, work permits, homes, food. That’s dumb.

What we need is we need for the state to be harder on these guys, plain and simple. Build more jails so we can hold the gangs, cut off their unemployment checks so that they’re forced to work, and in general just put a boot in their ass when they decide to be lazy.

That’s how they do it out in Texas right?

Here in Arizona, we ALSO have laws on the books stating English only in schools, and on government documents; we also have laws stating no government housing, driver’s licenses, benefits, welfare, etc. without proper ID showing citizenship; schools are required to ask for citizenship proof-initiatives voted into effect by VOTERS. They have YET to take effect. Why? Because what the VOTERS have spoken on is in step with federal law-as is SB1070-but the damned &^^%$%^&*^&**&(%&*^#%$%@ “borders rights groups” won’t let go into effect-or our stupidly liberal city/county councils. We’ve had to shut down 2 out of 3 level one trauma centers due to bankruptcy from treating these leeches…..

Can you see if Brewer tried to put these laws into effect right now? I mean, hell why not-we’re already at a boiling point for vigilante-ism which would give the bastard in our house a reason for enforcing martial law….

Look at the states these two represent. California-Broke, over taxed, under employed. Maxine Waters district? 15% unemployment…Charlie Rangle…New York. highest tax rates in the nation, most oppressive state government, most laws on the books telling you how to live….Rangles District? Harlem…Nuff said.

But The folks going after them for violations under the law? RACISTS!!!!

I love that video, but it really bothers me that CNN and the Alphabet networks don’t show that part. We all know why now though don’t we, JOURNALISTS…

Now the Congressional Black Caucus is going to introduce legislation that woiuld neuter the OCE because it has unfairly targeted them. Talk about backwards! There idea of ending corruption is to stop looking for it!

  14. comment number 14 by: HoosierArmyMom

JMHO, but I think Rangel and Waters are another distraction. The DOJ and by extension MaObama had mandated that our voting rights and Constitutional law that applies to our said right, is to be overridden if the perpetrators breaking the law happen to be a BLACK person violating the rights of a white voter. I think bringing up the obvious criminal activity of two black Congressmen, who will probably be let off on some technicality later is the Socialist Dems way of being able to say that they aren’t engaging in “reverse racism” in the coming elections. It is their MO to do such things to get the heat off. It is ever so difficult to sort out the “distractions” from the “real threats” to our freedom these days.

In light of the fact that the mid term elections are a mere 3 months away, I agree with HAM. This is nothing more than another smoke screen to divert attention away from from the utter failure of this administration from bHo to Holder to Napalitano to Gibbs.

  16. comment number 16 by: MissBeth

Isn’t that what I said up top?

  17. comment number 17 by: Gawfer

Indeed you did, Miss Beth. My apologies for missing your comment. The thought occurred to me, and then I read HAMs comment without reading any others. Please forgive my negligence.

  18. comment number 18 by: MissBeth

NP Gawfer-my point, though-we have got to be ever vigilant for what is hiding behind the curtain they’re trying to divert our attention from….and there is something, just don’t know what.
