Mexican president says vote ‘a grave error’

June 29th, 2007 . by TexasFred
MEXICO CITY - President Felipe Calderon of Mexico today blasted the U.S. Senate’s rejection of the immigration bill, calling the senators’ action “a grave error” that avoided a “sensible, rational and legal solution.”

“It’s a mistake,” Calderon said. “First, because it’s a problem that’s not being confronted. And with this evasive action the U.S. Senate is making it worse.

“Secondly, by closing the door on legal immigration, the only thing the Senate does is open the door to illegal immigration.”

Well, here’s the deal Presidente Calderon, we don’t really give a damn what YOU think of OUR immigration policies, you hypocritical SOBs have even more severe immigration laws than the USA ever dreamed of, and you’d enforce them too if anyone was desperate enough to ever want to move IN to your flea infested bean pile!

Calderon, appearing at a joint news conference with the visiting President Daniel Ortega of Nicaragua, told reporters he continues to oppose a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border which was approved by Congress last year. Some 370 miles of fencing will be constructed by 2008, about 153 miles inside Texas. Another 400 miles would be built later.

And if the vast majority of Americans had their way, that wall would run the entire length of the U.S./Mexican border and ever 300 yards there would be manned .50cal gun emplacements and anything attempting to get over, under or around that wall would be considered an INVADER and would be shot dead, on the spot…

More than a tenth of Mexico’s 103 million people now live in the United States, many of them illegally. As the United States has beefed up border security, people from Mexico and Central America have opted for new and often perilous ways of making it across.

Our lawmakers did the right thing in stopping this BS amnesty bill, now all we need to do is enforce our own immigration laws and round up each and every illegal in this nation and ship them back to their nation of origin.

And we must secure our southern border to insure that this ILLEGAL invasion is stopped and NEVER allowed to happen again.

Americans have nothing against immigration Mr. Calderon but we do have an immense dislike for ILLEGALS in our nation, much the same as YOU have the same dislike for ILLEGALS in your nation as well, the big difference is, we’re a bit more decent to ILLEGALS than Mexico is, but hopefully that’s about to change as well.

I will tell you is this Mr. Calderon, you’d better be damned glad I’m not the President of the USA, because if I were, right now, at this very moment you’d have a huge pile of bodies on the Mexican side of the border, DEAD bodies, that is how I would deal with those that would INVADE my home if I were President.

McCain: I’m Not Quitting Race

June 29th, 2007 . by TexasFred

WASHINGTON — John McCain dismissed the notion Thursday that he would drop out of the race for the Republican presidential nomination because he’s lagging in fundraising and trailing in polls.

“That’s ridiculous,” the Arizona senator told reporters in the Capitol. “Why in the world would I want to do that?”

“It would be nuts,” McCain said, adding that the first primary contests are a full six months away and arguing that voters won’t start paying close attention until the fall. “I don’t know why I would even remotely consider such a thing in the month of June, or July.”

He acknowledged his difficulty raising money; he placed third among the top GOP presidential contenders after the first three months of the year with $12.5 million and may come in under that total when the second financial quarter ends Saturday.

McCain: I’m Not Quitting Race

When John McCain aligned himself with Russ Feingold that was the last straw for me, I vowed then that there was no way in hell I’d ever support McCain for ANY national office and was of the opinion that if the citizens of Arizona were so hard up that they continued to support McCain, well, that was THEIR heartache…

And just when you think a RINO politician can’t get any worse, along comes the immigration bill and just look at who Johnny McCain was sucking up to on that one, his new best friend, Teddy Kennedy, the biggest blowhard, murdering, drunken, pitiful excuse for a Senator in modern times, a man that’s a disgrace to the human race and an all around embarrassment to the American people, well, if you don’t count the idiots in Massachusetts that keep sending the SOB back to Washington…

Is McCain SO stupid that he thinks this won’t effect his run for the White House?? Does he honestly think that backing Bush and siding with Kennedy on the immigration debacle won’t hurt his chances with the American people??

Well folks, in MY opinion, if McCain even remotely believes that, he is TOO stupid to be the President of the United States of America, we’ve already seen, just recently, what a hardheaded ASSHAT that can’t chew gum and walk looks like, and we damn sure don’t need another one that’s even remotely similar, but I will give McCain his proper respect where due, he CAN pronounce the word nuclear, that’s some improvement I suppose…

I have stated before that I believe John McCain to be nothing more than a RINO, a politician that CLAIMS to be a Conservative Republican but is, again in MY opinion, a liar of the 1st order, McCain IS more closely aligned with the politics of the Democrats than he EVER was with those of Conservatives, and I do NOT bite my words in saying this, John McCain is NOT what this nation needs as a president, he would be worse for this nation than the one we have at present, and that my friends, is something the American people can’t afford…

If McCain has a lick of sense he’ll realize that his name is worthless with the Conservatives of this nation and with any luck at all he will be shown the door by the RNC and hopefully the voters of Arizona will realize what an idiot he is and will remove him from the Senate and the American spotlight…

I made my readers a promise that I would blast any Republican presidential candidate that supported the immigration bill and that I would actively work against that person, well, true to my word, here you are, and any time McCain says anything of note, I’ll blast his worthless ass again and I encourage all bloggers to take up this cause, people like McCain, Kennedy, Feingold and any others that supported the AMNESTY bill must be removed from office before they do some permanent harm to this nation…

Roberts steers court right back to Reagan

June 29th, 2007 . by TexasFred

WASHINGTON — In a remarkable first full term of the remade Supreme Court, a narrow majority of justices changed the law on race, abortion, free speech and a swath of other issues affecting American life.

Long-standing precedents were discarded or reinterpreted. Government interests prevailed over individual rights. Business won at the expense of consumers and workers. And people on the fringe, such as rabble-rousing students and atheists, lost out.

In the 2006-07 annual term that ended Thursday, Chief Justice John Roberts, joined by Antonin Scalia, Anthony Kennedy, Clarence Thomas and newest justice Samuel Alito, set the tone. Of 19 cases that broke 5-4 along ideological lines, that quintet prevailed in 13 of them.

The conservative majority drew increasingly heated protests from liberal Justices John Paul Stevens, David Souter, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen Breyer.

Roberts steers court right back to Reagan

Anyone that thinks there’s not a serious left wing tilt to the MSM needs only to read this story, and if your eyes aren’t opened up to the fact that the majority of those writing for the MSM lean WAY left, then there’s no hope for you…

This piece by Joan Biskupic of USA TODAY isn’t a news story, it is, in MY opinion, a liberal, left wing editorial indictment against the Conservative Justices that sit on the Supreme Court, the very individuals that are attempting to steer this nation back to a set of Conservative core values that may possibly save this nation from the path of self destruction it’s been set upon by the very liberal Justices the author of the article appears to respect so much…

There have been many areas of the Bush administration with which I was in total disagreement, and the SCOTUS was one of them when Bush tried to foist Harriet Meirs off on us, that was a case of cronyism if ever there was one, and would have been a mistake of Biblical proportions, but by seating Sam Alito and John Roberts on the SCOTUS, Bust atoned for the Meirs debacle and set the court on a definite Conservative tilt, and that was quite likely the one thing Bush can be remembered for doing correctly in his entire administration…

The author of this article seems to think that holding Pres. Reagan up as your inspiration may be a bad thing, well, if it is I suppose I’m as guilty as anyone of doing it, I know Mr. Reagan made mistakes in office, his 1986 immigration bill was the forerunner to yesterdays POS bill and was, in my opinion, one of the most critical mistakes made by Mr. Reagan, but all in all Mr. Reagan was quite likely the most well loved president we’ve had in a long time and he brought Conservatism to the American people in a way that’s never been seen before, and the very fact that Justice Roberts holds Pres. Reagan as his inspiration gives me a reason to respect Roberts even more…

The majority of our Supreme Court is just fine, better than it’s been in years, and if they happen to ruffle a few libber/atheist or anti-American feathers along the way, well, that OK too…

President Bush Disappointed

June 28th, 2007 . by TexasFred

President Bush Disappointed by Congress’s Failure to Act on Comprehensive Immigration Reform
Spruance Auditorium
Naval War College
Newport, Rhode Island

12:38 P.M. EDT

THE PRESIDENT: I thank the members of the Senate and members of my administration who worked so hard on the border security and immigration reform bill. I’m sorry the Senate was unable to reach agreement on the bill this morning.

Legal immigration is one of the top concerns of the American people and Congress’s failure to act on it is a disappointment. The American people understand the status quo is unacceptable when it comes to our immigration laws. A lot of us worked hard to see if we couldn’t find a common ground — it didn’t work.

Congress really needs to prove to the American people that it can come together on hard issues. The Congress needs to work on comprehensive energy policy and good health care; make sure health care is affordable without inviting the federal government to run the health care system. We’ve got to work together to make sure we can balance this federal budget, and not overspend or raise taxes on the American people. We’ve got a lot of work to do.

When they come back from the summer — from the July recess, before the summer break begins, we’ll be focusing on the appropriations process. And I look forward to working with Congress to balance our budgets and to be wise about how we spend the people’s money.

Thank you for your time.

END 12:40 P.M. EDT

SOURCE: President Bush Disappointed by Congress’s Failure to Act on Comprehensive Immigration Reform

Wow, Bush is disappointed, he’s disappointed because for the 1st time in a long time the elected officials of this nation actually did what they are elected to do, they accurately represented the will of the electorate, us, you and me, WE, THE PEOPLE!!

George Bush and his lackey’s in the Senate, everyone that voted FOR the amnesty bill, got an education in government today, government the way it is supposed to be, government where the will of the people trumps the wishes of the few, with the President and 46 Senators being the few…

Today was a resounding victory for Americans, not just the Conservatives, but for ALL Americans, Conservatives lead the way, and Bloggers nationwide did everything they could to get the word to as many people as possible, and we did the job, and did it very well…
