Stellar Cast of Critics Slam U.N. As Anti-American, Anti-Israel

( – On a day when U.N. member states met to endorse the controversial “Durban” declaration against racism and a speech by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad triggered yet another Western walkout, a conference near the U.N. headquarters in New York sent the world body a message – “not in our name.”

Several participants at the “Perils of Global Intolerance” conference raised the issue of ending monetary contributions to the U.N. as long as its actions continue to “delegitimize” Israel.

“Lies and propaganda are running rampant” at the U.N., said Academy Award-winning actor Jon Voight, 72, adding that the U.S. “should discontinue aid to the U.N. as long as there are anti-Semitic people running the roost.”

He challenged the notion that Zionism is racism – a viewpoint that was enshrined in a General Assembly resolution from 1975 until 1991, and which critics say has featured prominently in the U.N.’s 10 year-old “Durban” racism process.

“Zionism is philanthropy, a belief in helping others, a belief in life and freedom,” said Voight. “It is belief in God and good.”

How many ways can it be said? How many times does it NEED to be said?

The United States of America, is not one of the biggest supporters of the United Nations, we are THE biggest supporter of the United Nations. Through our tax dollars the United Nations goes about it’s so-called mission of peace yet they, the U.N, bash the USA and all that we do.

The U.N., as a whole, do NOT support the nation of Israel and it’s freedoms. The United Nations pushes Israel into a corner as they, the U.N., support nations that are hell-bent on the destruction of Israel, and, in it’s finality, the United States itself.

Israel Once Again Accused of ‘Apartheid’ at U.N. Racism Meeting

( – The U.N. on Thursday commemorated the tenth anniversary of the Durban anti-racism process, an enterprise that has been marked by years of acrimony over efforts to single out Israel as racist. More than a dozen Western democracies boycotted the event.

Meeting on the sidelines of the General Assembly session, the gathering adopted, without a vote, a text reaffirming countries’ “political commitment to the full and effective implementation of the Durban Declaration and Program of Action.”

The DDPA is the document that emerged from the original World Conference Against Racism in Durban, South Africa, in September 2001. It has been at the heart of the decade-long Durban controversy, since it identified “Palestinian people under foreign occupation” as victims of racism. No country other than Israel was targeted in the same direct way.

Some human rights advocates deplored the fact that the Israel-centric focus – part of an international campaign to label Israel an “apartheid” state – has upstaged other pressing situations around the world such as Darfur, where up to 300,000 people, according to U.N. estimates, died in fighting between black African rebels and the Arab-dominated regime and its militias.

Those that accuse Israel of ‘Apartheid’ obviously don’t know what Apartheid really is.

a·part·heid - noun
1. (in the Republic of South Africa) a rigid policy of segregation of the nonwhite population.
2. any system or practice that separates people according to race, caste, etc.

Israel has been asked to bend over backwards, they have been asked to give up lands so the Palestinians can have a return to their *homeland*. Israel has acquiesced to those that have asked THEM to be the only ones to give up something in a negotiation that is supposedly going to lead to peace.

Here is the FACT of the matter; there is NOTHING that Israel can do that will bring peace to their area of the world. NOTHING!

Muslims will HATE Israel no matter what the Israelis do, it’s the nature of the beast, Islam is sworn to kill ALL Jews; it’s that simple. I don’t make offhand accusations, let the words of the Quran stand as MY citation!

● Muslims must not take the infidels as friends (3:28)
● Slay the unbelievers wherever you find them (2:191)
● Make war on the infidels living in your neighborhood (9:123)
● When opportunity arises, kill the infidels wherever you catch them (9:5)
● Kill the Jews and the Christians if they do not convert to Islam or refuse to pay Jizya tax (9:29)
● Any religion other than Islam is not acceptable (3:85)
● The Jews and the Christians are perverts; fight them (9:30)

To quote the late Golda Meir: Peace will come when the Arabs will love their children more than they hate us.

The UN is a Boy’s Club for third world despots. The UN is maneuvering to place UN peace keepers on the ground in Israel and the Palestinian territories, IMHO.

  2. WhoBeen says:

I’ve been bashing the UN since I don’t know when…

It was great to see that mass walk-out during Ahmadinejad’s speech…

Next: It would be great to see a mass walk-out during all of Obama’s speeches…

  3. James Shott says:

The time is long past for the United States to admit that the UN is an organization whose time has come and gone.

Drop out, evict the UN, and move on.

  4. Katie says:

It is a long time past the time we should have defunded that Tower of Babel. It is time we get ourselves out of it, take back the land that tower sits on (Prime Real Estate), and then announce to the world the formation of A League of Judea-Christian nations. No despots, no Third World nations, no Commies allowed. And force the rest of the world to conform to our, civilized standards and convert to Christianity, Judaism, or Buddhism.

  5. Bloviating Zeppelin says:

    I’ve always said this:

The UN buildings would make GREAT condos — perfect location, excellent high-rise for world-class views, lower buildings for community centers, local shopping, businesses, retail, leases and rentals.

Let all those assholes find a nice relocated building in, say, Vienna — in the heart of fading Socialism.

They can fund their own-damned-selves. Let’s see how long they last, THEN.

  6. Robert says:

Israel needs to stand firm. Give NOTHING. I’d almost welcome another “intifada” and unleash Israel. Perhaps the Israelis can increase their nations size to include Egypt, Lebanon and Syria.. Then in 60 years we can talk about withdrawing to 2011 borders….

Personally man, I don’t know HOW Israel has been this nice for so long. I’m thinking Palestinians would be remembered like the Myan’s if someone like you or I was in charge of that much firepower… Better not let us get elected PM of Israel… just sayin.

  7. Bob Mack says:

That den of vipers on the Hudson needs to be relocated to someplace more copacetic…like Mogadishu.

  8. MissBeth says:

My question for the longest time is when did Israel lose its cajones? There’s a time for being patient and a time for saying we have had enough. The time for defending itself, in no uncertain terms and in terms easily understood by the moronic falestinians has come and gone and still, Israel rolls over and bares its belly to the beast. The US has had its hands tied for about the same amount of time.

Why? Israel used to be feared for her strength and her spit in your eye, quit fucking with me attitude. We haven’t seen that for a long, long time. We used to be known for the same thing. Unfortunately, we have been cursed with extremely weak, limp wristed leaders, afraid of hurting someone’s feelings. Israel, on the contrary, has not been cursed with weak leaders. Bebe is not dumb; he is not weak; why then, does he allow this misconception to continue? When will Israel’s elite once again spit in the eyes of these barbarians and once again say, not on my watch, not in my lifetime?

I love Israel and hate seeing her hands tied like this-but who is tying them?

I wish, I SO wish, there were enough to stand up and say we have had it with the barbarians and promptly blast their asses into itty bitty pieces while creating the worlds largest glass beach. The time for words has come and gone. The time for action is now.

    • Katie says:

What happened was Oslo and the MSM deciding that no matter what the Fakistinians do the Israelis would be wrong to strike back. Plus with the hiring of many British journalists (With a very anti-Israel, anti-Semitic, pro-Muslim agenda.), it was a PR whammy against Israel.

To please these bastards in the Media, Israel had to change tactics. But that is coming to an end. To hell with the media. Israel will do what it has to do to destroy the Fakistinians.

In other words, in the next war the old IDF will be back!

  9. MissBeth says:

Oh I hope so Katie-Israel has tried everything to get along and it just hasn’t worked-people don’t want to get along with Israel. They need to learn they need to accept Israel for who and what she is-the jewel of the desert.
