Severe Weather in Dallas/Ft. Worth

A still shot of 2 trailers tossed in the air, one is dead center, one is to the left, standing straight up and down, WAY up in the air!

The below video is very annoying with the storm alert going off and there is a short ad that has to be viewed, but turn the volume down and watch on a FULL SCREEN and see what it looks like as tractor/trailer rigs are tossed through the air.


So far this storm has gone to the east of Rowlett, and we THANK GOD for that. We are sending out prayers for our friends and neighbors in the other communities in our area.

I will have more updates on this as they come in, provided I am not a part OF the story. 😕

14:56:06 - Tornado reported on the ground in Addison along the Dallas North Tollway. Take cover immediately if you are in the path of this storm.

15:07:29 - Dallas ISD is holding students until an all-clear is sounded

15:12:37 -New tornado warning for Dallas County for a new cell coming from the south stretching from Wilmer to Seagoville. Moving north to northeast.

 15:19:56 - Tornado warning for South and East Dallas County, Kaufman County. Storm 6 miles west of Seagoville headed northeast, should cross Hwy 175. Another storm forming west of Mesquite/Garland that could also produce a tornado. Both storms moving northeast at 30mph

15:33:53 - News 8 is showing rotation on the EAST SIDE of ROWLETT… We’re on the EAST SIDE..

15:37:41 - Tornado on the ground near Forney @ HWY 80.

15:45:48 - According to storm spotters Forney High School HAS been hit by a tornado.. EDIT TO ADD: 16:24:23 - High School not hit, Elementary school has sustained damage..

15:51:44 - Tornado WARNING for Rockwall, Collin, Hopkins and Hunt Counties until 1630HRS

16:25:37 - City of Lancaster declared a disaster.

16:28:55 - Tornado EMERGENCY in Hunt County (Greenville) a serious hit is imminent according to NEW 8 and spotters. EDIT TO ADD: Greenville IS being hit right now…

16:55:10 - The immediate D/FW area is OK it seems, the worst appears to be over. It’s moving East and is somewhat less severe… Thank God!

17:08:02 - Additionally, Arlington, TX has been declared a disaster, but Texans are already responding, cleaning up, patching, taking care of each other, because here in Texas, that’s what WE do! And THANK GOD, so far, there have been NO reports of serious injury or deaths!
