Justice Dept. plans to sue Arizona sheriff Arpaio
PHOENIX (AP) - Federal authorities have said they plan to sue Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio and his office over allegations of civil rights violations, including the racial profiling of Latinos.
The U.S. Justice Department has been seeking an agreement requiring Arpaio’s office to train officers in how to make constitutional traffic stops, collect data on people arrested in traffic stops and reach out to Latinos to assure them that the department is there to also protect them.
Arpaio has denied the racial profiling allegations and has claimed that allowing a court monitor would mean that every policy decision would have to be cleared through an observer and would nullify his authority.
The self-proclaimed toughest sheriff in America has been a national political fixture who has built his reputation on jailing inmates in tents and dressing them in pink underwear, selling himself to voters as unceasingly tough on crime and pushing the bounds of how far local police can go to confront illegal immigration.

The hardest working Sheriff in America is once again under attack from the most dangerously inept Department of Justice in American history.
The Department of Justice (DoJ) is NOT doing its own job. Our border aren’t safe, our nation is not sovereign and secure.
The DoJ, under the administration of one Eric Holder, is a farce, and is quite likely guilty of crimes far worse that some supposed civil rights violation … well, unless you could consider it a violation of their personal civil rights when agents Jaimie Zapata and Brian Terry were MURDERED with weapons that were provided BY the Obama administration, through the offices of Attorney General Eric Holder and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) and deliberately allowed to fall into the hands of Mexican drug cartels via Operation Fast and Furious.
Somehow, Obama, Holder, Napolitano et al don’t seem to see any evidence of wrong-doing in that effort, at least not on their part.
But amazingly, Obama, Holder, Napolitano et al can find justification in suing Sheriff Joe Arpaio for doing HIS job and allowing HIS Deputies to do the job that Barack Hussein Obama and his band of ne’er do wells won’t do.
DOJ officials told a lawyer for Arpaio on April 3 that the lawman’s refusal of a court-appointed monitor was a deal-breaker that would end settlement negotiations and result in a federal lawsuit.
Do these assclowns at DoJ not see their threats against Arpaio as sheer harassment? Do they not see and recognize that Arizona is a SOVEREIGN state? One that the DoJ can’t just go poking around in and meddling in their STATE and COUNTY affairs?
According to THIS, 29.6% of the people in Arizona are Hispanic.
DoJ is worried about *profiling*, and that being the reason for traffic stops being initiated that are against a large number of Hispanics? And DoJ wonders WHY so many of those stops lead to arrests on charges *OTHER* that traffic violations?
Apparently DoJ has never done ANY work in *real world* law enforcement.
A large percentage of Arizona residents are *reported* to be Hispanic, I’m going to venture a guess that there are at least as many Hispanics in Arizona that are NOT reported as there are those reported, somewhere close to that number anyway.
Now I am going to present a bit of opinion that ANYONE that has ever lived ON or NEAR the border will readily tell you; Mexicans come to this nation and the cars they drive are, mostly, pieces of crap, uninsured, and the Mexicans driving them are some of the most incredibly BAD drivers you have ever seen.
THAT is what triggers most of the traffic stops that does indeed lead to *other* violations being found. Good police work leading to the finding of *other* matters that are indeed a safety issue for those of us that ARE legal and trying to do OUR business correctly.
I seriously don’t know what this nation is coming to. Yesterday the big news was Obama voices his support for gay marriage and this one that slipped through the cracks, House Democrats: NYPD should purge ‘spy’ files. Barack Hussein Obama (Flaming Libber) is the first President in U.S. history to come out and say he supports the homosexual agenda and homosexual marriage, and he is backed by a bunch of Democratic Congress Critters that are more concerned with how to avoid angering radical Islam and the terrorists OF Islam that threaten the American people than they are in protecting Americans and supporting hard working Lawmen like Joe Arpaio!
Joe Arpaio is doing everything within his power to protect his part of Arizona and to keep things like this from happening in the USA! Police find 18 bodies near Mexican tourist lake.
Janet Napolitano *claims* that the borders are safer now than ever before, but she is wrong. Our border are still dangerous, VERY dangerous, and the only thing standing between us and Mexico is a few hard working men like Arpaio, other Sheriffs and State Police like him and the efforts of the U.S. Border Patrol.

When ANY court in this land can issue a decision like that, it is time for ALL bleeding heart, abortion loving child porn supporting Democratic LIBERALS to be totally and permanently removed from office.
We either take this nation back, remove it from the hands of people like Barack Hussein Obama and his band of Marxist DEVILS, or America is surely doomed.

Holder needs to spend less time pursuing frivolous lawsuits against the states and more time answering the House of Representatives’ subpoenas.

I’ll tell you what - we here in Arizona don’t like Arpaio so much we will only let him have two or three more terms before he gets too old to serve.
He’s only been in office for twenty years, and yet the O administration thinks he doesn’t know how to do his job. Well, we voters of Arizona don’t put up with people who don’t know how to do their jobs (Meacham) (Napolitano) and we send them down the road, so sure, Arpaio is probably headed out the door.
