A Brief Explanation regarding The TexasFred Blog
As most of you are aware, we have had some serious issues with our blog server, the lack of speed with the blog opening and loading, the same issue with making comments, changing pages, error screens and so forth.
With any luck that is ALL about to be over. We have upgraded to a better level of service with our hosting company and are now on a much faster server with twice the space to work, thus making it all move a lot faster.
It’s going to cost us a little bit more money to make this upgrade but it’s worth it, I am getting the blog traffic and the upgrade is a necessity. I just hope the economy picks up a bit so that blog support can resume. Money makes the world go around, and yes, I KNOW it’s tight right now!
But even if donations don’t increase, this upgrade is worth it to me, not just because it makes the blog better and much easier to use for me, but because it makes it better and much easier to use for my friends, family and readers!
The complete move (migration) is almost done, we should be back to full running some time this afternoon and I know you will see a MUCH FASTER blog loading, with page openings and ALL functionality at peak performance!
Thanks to ALL of you for reading the blog and I hope that this upgrade will allow a lot better reading experience for ALL!
Here’s a little ‘food for thought’:
The stock market has done nothing but fall since the election. The people that voted for Obama don’t really care, most of them haven’t got a pot to piss in, but the workers in America, the taxpayers are going broke too now. They WILL care soon.
Elections have consequences…
I hate to brag too soon but it appears that all is well and the blogs are working quite well, and VERY fast too…
Again, thank you to ALL of you that have stood by me through thick and thin and have given me the encouragement to keep on blogging!
