Ex-FBI Analyst Predicts Attack After Election
Al-Qaida or affiliated groups probably will attack the United States in the months after the election to “welcome” the new president, says Frederick Stremmel, a former top FBI counterterrorism analyst.
Stremmel, who retired from the FBI a year ago after working the major counterterrorism cases for 25 years, tells Newsmax that al-Qaida would not attack before the election.
“They know our weaknesses and in some cases how to impact public opinion,” he says. “The best example is the timing of the Madrid bombings which occurred near election day in Spain. The Madrid attacks probably impacted the Spanish elections and ultimately led to diminished Spanish government support of U.S. foreign policy.”
Al-Qaida knows that an attack before the election would help elect Republican Sen. John McCain, Stremmel says. The terrorists would prefer Democratic Sen. Barack Obama because they believe he would “swing the pendulum back” to more lenient anti-terrorism policies, Stremmel says.
“The months following the election or inauguration of the new administration is prime time for an attack,” he says. “They will want to impact the new administration and its policies. There is a history of Islamic terrorists wanting to make life miserable for successive administrations.”

Some of you aren’t going to like this story. Some of you are going to say “It will never happen”, some are going to think I am off on the *alarmist* thing again. Just like the post yesterday, concerning the possibility that we could have race riots if Obama is NOT elected, and my belief, based on some confidential information, that we will have serious racial unrest if Obama IS elected POTUS.
Frederick Stremmel is pretty much correct in his assessment of the threats we face from al-Qaida, and I believe he is very correct when he states that there will be NO attack prior to the election, simply because it would help McCain to win and become president.
The only part of this story that I don’t full agree with is the speculation that al-Qaida would attack even if Obama does win, within a few months of that event, I honestly don’t believe they will have to attack IF Obama is the POTUS. I believe, in all my heart, that Obama will open the door and invite his radical Muslim brothers to partake of the American dream, as invaders and conquerors.
I fully believe that the only way we would see an attack in this nation under an Obama presidency would be if Obama himself brought that attack TO the American people. I have been sitting here listening to Obama speak this morning, and I am an astute student of history. What I heard from Obama this morning was reminiscent of the speeches Adolph Hitler made prior to his taking the position of Chancellor of Germany prior to WWII.
Obama went on and on and on today, it was like watching the old newsreels from the 1930′s, and I believe that this man is the terrorists best friend, and I can see him using those terrorists to enforce his brand of socialism on this nation! The passion was there, the rhetoric was there, the empty promises were there. Obama is making promises that he can’t keep, he made a promise to not raise taxes and we KNOW that’s a lie, you can’t DO all the things Obama wants to do without money, and lots of it.
The only way that al-Qaida will attack us under an Obama presidency would be if Obama himself actually grew a set and took the fight to radical Islam, and that is NOT going to happen!

Fred, I have been saying this for quite awhile. Even if Obama is elected(and I now believe that is a foregone conclusion, unless something out of the ordinary happens) we will get hit. If “The Messiah” is elected, that attack will come after he is installed on his throne. If by some chance McCain is elected, the Muzzies will strike before Juan McCain gets his fingers near the red button.
We are all tuned into our economic woes, and Islam is just waiting for the proper time.

I listened to McCain AND Obama this AM, very closely, and as I told a friend just now, McCain is Casper Milquetoast when it comes to giving a speech, he couldn’t start a fire with a gallon of gas and a book of matches…
Obama, on the other hand, is a dynamic speaker, is becoming one anyway, he was always good when speaking from the teleprompter but today he got a fire in his heart, he was almost preaching, and as I said in the post, he was reminiscent of Adolf Hitler pre election to the position of Chancellor of Germany…

And here is one more truth that a lot of folks do NOT want to hear, if Palin gets taken to the cleaners by Biden tomorrow night, it’s all over…

An attack before Nov. 4th would give McCain the Presidency. Every terrorist group in the world supports Obama. They would not try to harm his chances on becoming President.
If Obama is elected the US will, in short order, become just another 3rd world pest-hole. Then we’ll make nice with the Islam-O-Nazis and other suspects to be named at a later date. IMO, a race war is going to happen EITHER way..
