Rep. Peter King says he’ll jump off bridge if Ted Cruz is nominated

Obviously Rep. Peter King never heard Ronald Reagan’s 11th commandment, “Thou shalt not speak ill of a fellow Republican.

King, R-N.Y., appeared on CNN’s “The Situation Room” Monday to give his opinion on Ted Cruz’s announcement that he would be seeking the Republican nomination for president in 2016 election.

He wasn’t flattering.

“We need intelligent debate in the country. Ted Cruz may be an intelligent person, but he doesn’t carry out an intelligent debate,” King told host Wolf Blitzer.

“He oversimplifies, he exaggerates and he basically led the Republican Party over the cliff in the fall of 2013. He has shown no qualifications, no legislation being passed, doesn’t provide leadership and he has no real experience. So, to me, he is just a guy with a big mouth and no results.” SOURCE

Jump you egotistical bastard… JUMP! Do a flip on the way down so there can be some added entertainment value.

As I said in yesterday’s post, Ted Cruz is in the race for President; “Ted Cruz may not be perfect and before this is over we’re going to have a lot of frogs in this race before we crown a prince, but Cruz deserves a chance to have his voice heard and his ideas given FAIR consideration, or we go with the GOP status quo and lose again.”

I am NOT a Republican and I have NO PROBLEM with speaking ill OF a Republican, I am an America 1st Conservative, I am not a Democrat, I am not a TEA Party person, I am that which the GOP, Dems and TEA Party fear; a reasonably well educated, gun owning Texas redneck that doesn’t need to be told what to do and I damned sure WILL NOT be talked down to by these Republicans that think they have the answer to all the problems facing this nation.

King criticized Cruz and Rand Paul, who will presumably announce his candidacy soon, as “counterfeit conservatives,” and said that Cruz would have to undergo a “complete transformation” in order to get his endorsement.

I’m pretty sure Ted Cruz isn’t going to completely revamp himself in order to gain an endorsement from one of the people in Washington that is a part of the problem.

RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) like Pete King are afraid of Ted Cruz, they are even more afraid of him than the Democrats are. People like Ted Cruz don’t *go along to get along* like so many of the long-serving of both parties but particularly those in the GOP.

I heard entrenched Congressional members speaking badly of Cruz while they talked DOWN to me and belittled anyone that even remotely spoke well of Cruz. Needless to say, I cut ties with that individual.

If the GOP establishment is attacking Ted Cruz this hard one day into his run for the Oval Office you have to KNOW, the GOP is quaking in their Gucci loafers because Cruz is a force to be reckoned with and will NOT be coopted into the mainstream GOP.

Is Ted Cruz perfect? Well, NO, he’s not but if he can get Pete King to jump off a bridge then that is a really good reason to support Ted Cruz.

Does King need help up onto the rail?

I agree, Cruz is not perfect - but he’s the first to announce, and he has a true understanding of the Constitution, and so far he hasn’t acted like a politician - he’s acting more like a representative of the people.

No wonder the established don’t like him. He’s not ignoring us.

  2. HGPSURF says:

Peter King is a complete asshole and if he doesn’t jump someone should push him off!

  3. the right handed cowboy says:

And who thought that Obama would have ever been elected…..Twice

Will Cruz win nomination probably not. Then on the other hand……..he just might….anything is better than n a democratic liberal

  4. BobF says:

Looks like I need to send some money to Ted’s campaign. Love to see if that SOB puts actions behind his words and jumps.

  5. Wayne says:

Like I’ve said before, if you ain’t taking flak, you ain’t over the target. Ted Cruz has more legal experience than most of our so called representatives. King just proves that he is afraid for himself and the other slimeballs who feel the heat from a guy who knows his shit about THE CONSTITUTION. I also hope that the voter fraud issue is resolved before another dipshit gets into the White House. WE THE PEOPLE have to recognize the fact that progressives are the enemy of liberty. I still can’t believe that King would say what he did. What a jerkoff.

  6. the unit says:

Mama said Peter Thomas King jumped off the Tallahatchie Bridge.
Daddy said Peter Thomas never had a lick of sense; pass the biscuits, please.

  7. Texasperated says:

So now we have TWO reasons to vote for Cruz.

    Keep your powder dry
