Michelle Obama declares ‘Black Girls Rock!’

Ugly Michelle ObamaNEWARK, N.J. — First Lady Michelle Obama celebrated the beauty, power and tenacity of black women while spreading her own message of education for girls at Black Girls Rock!, an annual event honoring trailblazing women of color from all walks of life.

“No matter who you are, no matter where you come from, you are beautiful,” Obama told the crowd, which included many young black girls.

“I am so proud of you. My husband, your president, is so proud of you. We have so much hope and dreams for you.”

Obama was not among the honorees at Saturday night’s festivities, held at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. That distinction went to actress Jada Pinkett Smith, singer Erykah Badu, actress Cicely Tyson, “Selma” director Ava DuVernay, educator Nadia Lopez and Dr. Helene D. Gayle, president and CEO of CARE USA, a humanitarian organization. SOURCE

Well, how about that?

Michelle Obama is PROUD of something and speaks up to tell us all about it. “I am so proud of you. My husband, your president, is so proud of you. We have so much hope and dreams for you.”

I ask this in all sincerity; have any of you EVER heard either of the Obama’s address any group in America, besides this particular group of Black girls, and tell them how PROUD they are of them? If you have, a story with a link as citation would be much appreciated.

Now I ask this of my readers; can you imagine the outcry from the Blacks in America if Nancy Reagan, Barbara Bush or Laura Bush had said such a thing while holding a White Girls Rock! rally?

The cries of RACISM would have been a horrendous cacophony of lamentations regarding their plight in life mixed in with accusations about relations with our mothers and so forth. Think about that one for a minute…

I have long believed that racism in America exists, for the most part, because people like Michelle Obama, Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson perpetuate its existence, because without RACISM, they lose their meal ticket.

Once upon a time racism ran rampant through the South, I know 1st hand, I was raised in that environment, I remember well WHITE ONLY dining sections, drinking fountains and restrooms. I remember the *Back of the Bus* signs. I remember the integration of public schools. I am no stranger to these things but that time in America is long past.

Today we are all on equal footing; we have the same opportunities for education and jobs, we can ALL sit down and eat a meal at a place of our choosing, we can go to the restroom and ride the damned bus, ALL of us, together!

Apparently some people in America haven’t received that message and that is mostly, at least in MY opinion, due to the words and actions of race baiters like Obama, Sharpton and Jackson.

When the Blacks of this nation lose THEIR deeply ingrained racist attitude about White people they may wake up to a world that is much different than the one their arrogant and hate filled *Reverends* pounded into their heads with bastardized *sermons*.

Here’s a little something for everyone to think about;

There are many peoples in this nation; African-Americans, Black-Americans, Mexican-Americans, Asian-Americans, Arab-Americans, Native-Americans, etc.

And then there are just – Americans. You know the people I am talking about, Americans; everyday folks like you and me, folks that work, pay bills, love life and this great nation and accept responsibility for our actions and attach no hyphen to our description.

Then there are these *others*; you pass me on the street and sneer in my direction.

You call me ‘White boy’, ‘Cracker’, ‘Honky’, ‘Whitey’, ‘Gringo’ or ‘Caveman’, and as far as you are concerned, that’s OK, but if I say so much as one word that you consider to be out of line, I am branded as a vile racist.

You say that whites commit acts of violence against you … so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?

You have the United Negro College Fund, Hispanic History Month, Martin Luther King Day, Asian History Month, Black Entertainment Television, Black History Month, Cesar Chavez Day, Kwanzaa and the NAACP.

If we had WET (White Entertainment Television), we’d be called racists.

If we had a White Pride Day, you would call us racists.

If we had a White History Month, we’d be called racist for that.

If we had any organization for Whites Only to ‘advance’ OUR lives, we’d certainly be branded as racists.

There’s a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and a Black Chamber of Commerce.

Then we have the Chamber of Commerce, not a White Chamber of Commerce, just The Chamber of Commerce that ALL businesses can join.

If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships, you know we’d be called evil racists.

There are openly-proclaimed Black-Only Colleges in the US, yet if there were ‘White-Only Colleges’, why THAT would be a racist college.

In the Million-Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights.

If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us bog dwelling, redneck racists.

You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and red, and you’re not afraid to announce it.

But when we announce our White Pride, yeah, you got it, we get called racists, NAZIs and a lot worse.

You can rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us, and we’re supposed to sit back and take it?

So why is it that when a white police officer shoots a black gang member, or beats up a black drug-dealer that’s running from the LAW, and posing a threat to ALL of society, why do you call that police officer a racist for simply doing his job?

I am White and I am proud, but, you call me a racist.

Why is it that only whites can be racists, and just WHO exactly are the REAL racists?

I believe we need to ask Obama, he is the one who has gone around the world apologizing for us, because I have no answer…… but rest assured..someone one will tell us….

How true…an no truer words spoken. Many years ago, when I was a police officer for a small city, and looking to attend law school full time, I made a comment that I wished there was some sort of united caucasion scholarship fund, as school was going to be expensive, and I would certainly liked to have some help with the amount of tuition I was going to have to pay. Well, a WHITE women rookie officer overheard me, and complained, and I was brought up on charges of racial harassment and I was found guilty. So now, I am a documented racist. I denigrated no one, spoke ill of no one, and was overheard by no other people of any color, other than the person I was speaking to, and this white officer within earshot. But I am the racist. So yes, I am now a little more sensitive to who gets offended over what and it pisses me off to no end. There should be no double standard. Racism is racism, and if whites can’t say it, then blacks can’t either, and if blacks can say something, well so can I. The rules apply to everyone or no one. After all, if we made special rules to restrict only blacks, well they would yell…..what is the anwer…c’mon, you know….RACISM. But they have enacted a HUGE set of restrictions on all of us white people, white officers, and white everyone….and if we say anything about it….WE’RE RACIST.

Blacks say they want an open and honest dialogue on racism…and when we try to do exactly that…they YELL….you guessed it….RACISM. Blacks do not want open and honest dialogue. They want whitey to admit he hates black people, they want whitey to say sorry every single day, and bow down to the blacks…and they want reparations and everything else. They want whitey to suffer greatly for something no white person alive did today to any black person alive as well. When will they “let it go”? I guess as soon as it quits benefiting them they will let it go. So, as long as we continue to bow down to their screams, and continue to say sorry and give blacks all sorts of extra money, extra support, job preference, school preference, govt preference and on and on and on…it will continue. When whites stand up as one and say ENOUGH…and quit eating the shit sandwich we are being fed by blacks…will it stop.

We are our own worst enemy. There have been races that have been treated way worse. The jews, the pollacks, the chinese and on and on. In fact, if we go far enough back, ALL of us at one time or another have gotten a raw deal. But that was history and all of us moved on. And no one but blacks seem to use this as an excuse to why they have not achieved all that they could. As to why they commit way more percentages of the crime well above their 13 percent of the population. If I could have one wish, it would be to make all black people white. Imagine if every black person woke up tomorrow and what white. What would their excuse be then? I am sure they would find something. The fact is…as long as crying racism pays off…it will exist.

This is a commentary that I have long waited to read and, no surprise, you have authored it. Based on your own experience with racism in the past you have identified the new version, the black version, that exists today. It too should be consigned to the past. Bravo!

    You nailed it…thanks!

  5. Abigail says:

Have to agree with everything said here. Frankly I tune out when I see the racism card played and sit over here outside the States and wonder how it is that the (for the moment) white majority has gone along and let themselves be browbeaten into letting this happen.
Oh and if these ‘trail blazing women of color’ wanted to advance the cause, then they why don’t they speak out against the way ‘women of color’ are used in rap, gangsta music videos. Are those women good role models? Aren’t they fostering stereotypes in the way they portray mostly black women as whores, bitches, niggas, sex objects?
So as far as racism goes, the blacks should look first within their own culture.

You said it all Fred…well said sir.

  7. BobF says:

The following two statements were made in 1911 by Booker T. Washington.

There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs — partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.”

“I am afraid that there is a certain class of race-problem solvers who don’t want the patient to get well, because as long as the disease holds out they have not only an easy means of making a living, but also an easy medium through which to make themselves prominent before the public.

    • Abigail says:

I ponder. If anyone had the right to feel hostility and desire retribution it was those who actually lived as slaves-
Words of actual slaves from the book Bullwhip Days:The Slaves Remember, An Oral History: “Our master took his slaves to meetin’ with him. There was always something about that I couldn’t understand. They treated the colored folks like animals and would not hesitate to sell and separate them, yet they seemed to think they had souls and tried to make Christians of them. -MALINDA DISCUS
Everybody wants to be free, and they should be. I don’t believe it’s right to live in bondage, but I do say it bold and aboveboard that the slaves with good masters, like mine, was a heap better off. I can remember having everything I wanted, and it takes a long time to get used to not having nothing.-MARK OLIVER
Some people say slavery was better, because they had no responsibility. It is true, they were fed, clothed, and sheltered, but I’m like that man that said, “Give me freedom or give me death.” -BELLE CARUTHERS

yet it is the blacks today who hold such resentment and anger. They are many generations removed from slavery, they have opportunities like never before, integration is a done deal.
“If we hadn’t been brung over an made slaves, us an’ us chillun dat is being educated an’ civilized would be naked savages back in Africa, now.
      -TONY COX
Seems as if the pendulum is swinging back the other way from education to savagery. I dunno. I do know I used to be a much more tolerant person before obama…

  8. minuteman26 says:

Good post Fred. Will have to ask Imus to ask the Michelle Obama if nappy headed hoes rock also. The Obama regime is so much bullshit.

  9. Wayne says:

You are right on Fred. I was called a Howlie by the guys from Hawaii when I was a freshman at a junior college. My reaction was indifference. I think that my failure to react pissed some of them off, but, I really didn’t care at the time. What I did recognize was the attitude of the Californians towards a young white boy from New York. There seemed to be an unwritten code that people from the east were inferior to the population of the left coast. Anyway, I am a proud Staten Island-New Jersey- Norwegian-French-German-Conservative American. Did I mention white?

    • Wayne says:

I forgot to mention Florida in my ethnic description. Sorry.

      • Abigail says:

Wayne, I have to ask. What is a Howlie? And whereabouts in Jersey if I may ask. I was born and grew up in Ocean and Monmouth counties. Then we moved to Florida…

        • Wayne says:

A Howlie was a derogatory term to describe a non- Hawaiian. Supposed to get a reaction, like calling someone a n_ _ _ _ r. I moved from Staten Island to Pompton Plains N.J. when I was 20 years old and moved to Florida in ’05. Been in paradise ever since.
