Palin Blasts Emanuel for Calling Dem Idea ‘Retarded’

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is calling on the White House to fire Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel for using the word “retarded” in a strategy session last year.

In a posting on her Facebook page Monday, Palin blasted Emanuel for calling an idea from some of President Obama’s supporters “f—ing retarded” during an August meeting with liberal groups and White House aides.

The Wall Street Journal reported last week that Emanuel made the remarks after some participants said they planned to air ads attacking conservative Democrats who were critical of Obama’s health care agenda.

Palin, whose youngest child, Trig, has Down Syndrome, wrote that Emanuel’s expletive was “heartbreaking” and said his “degrading scolding” has been “completely ignored by the White House.”

How about that! Palin thinks that a Democrat libber calling other Dem libbers ideas “f*cking retarded” is wrong? So, the Queen of Alaska takes umbrage? And jumps to the defense of all challenged people? Noble, noble indeed!

I am only guessing, not making an accusation, just an observation, but is she piqued simply because she has a Downs child? Does she consider him to be retarded and thus finds that word offensive on his behalf? Or is this simply a case of attention whoring, political correctness and histrionics from Palin?

Let me point something out to you folks, many are still touting Palin as a GREAT leader and are still trying to talk folks into supporting her for a run at the Oval Office in 2012.

Ladies, I am not trying to offend any of you but there’s a part of that equation that I just have to point out; if you’re suffering from PMS, over the top PCness, being in a mental state known as full blown Drama Queen Syndrome, are fully versed in the use of histrionics, and will do or say anything you think will get you more face time on the news, ie: Media Whoring, you really have NO business being able to access the nuclear launch codes.

I say this is ALL honesty, if she gets that up in the air over the words of a moronic retard like Rahm Emanuel, and his making an off the cuff statement to Dems, about Dems, what the hell do you think she’d do if some foreign leader were to say something out of the way or off color about her family?

Don’t think that this weakness is lost on our enemies either! They are constantly looking for an area of weakness in our leadership, and they DO pay attention to the politics of America. They are very aware of Palin and her sensitivity to certain topics, and would have no 2nd thought if they thought they could exploit her weaknesses.

At the time, Palin responded by saying: “I was shocked to learn of the comment made by President Obama about Special Olympics. This was a degrading remark about our world’s most precious and unique people, coming from the most powerful position in the world… I hope President Obama’s comments do not reflect how he truly feels about the special needs community.”

I have to agree with Palin, what Barack Hussein Obama said was out of place. He specifically targeted Special Olympics and those that participate in them. Palin’s rant is against Rahm Emanuel and over the unspecific use of a word that is used in daily vernacular by many people. People that are well versed, well educated, well read and well spoken.

I am of the opinion that Palin is desperately looking for a cause, a crusade if you will, something that will make her relevant, important and seemingly in the mainstream of GOP politics.

The off the cuff comment by Rahm Emanuel is not that cause. For Sarah Palin to think so is simply retarded…

I agree, she is acting like a libber. First of all, he said it “Last Year” and he didn’t say it in her presence.

My foster sister is retarded. She’s a great gal and has a work ethic I respect. She’ll never be an intellectual giant, but I’d take her over most of the people I’ve known in my lifetime. I wouldn’t chew someone out for using the word “retarded” unless they were using it to “put down” my sister! Then I’d kick their sorry butt! But using it to point out the fact that someone with a normal IQ has come up with an idea that makes them sound like they have a two digit IQ is not worth the time it takes to make an issue of it. That’s just my take and I think you are spot on… she’s using it to get attention.

I think Palin is going to wish she kept her mouth shut on this one. Why is it when people enter the political arena they seem to leave their brains and common sense at home. In D.C. there are freaking retards on both sides of the aisle. Unfortunately, they also seem to be in the majority. Time for Palin to look in the mirror.

Hey Fred: To us gals, if you’re PMS, over the top PCness, in mental state known as full blown Drama Queen Syndrome, arent fully versed in the use of histrionics, and will do or say anything you think will get you more face time on the news shouldnt be in charge of Nuclear Arms….I agree strongly-especially when it comes to Palin…..I must say that I seriously believe that the egotistical John Edwards had vanity at the top of his list & he was suffering the mid life crisis along with a lack of marital sex! I think he carried a mirror in his hip pocket, lol. High maintenance men as well shouldnt ever be in control of the Nuclear Launchings……Let’s face it, some women suck when they’re like that but so does the man that cant stop staring in the mirror.
Our country would be better off with one “Fuckin’ ugly SOB” that can get the job done!! LMAO!

  4. TexasFred says:

So, Annie O, what you’re saying is, I should run for POTUS?? :?

  5. Annie Oakley says:

Frederick, you would make a damn fine POTUS that I would be proud to call “My President”!! Why don’t you seriously take a shot at politics, at least locally. I know you’d do well, no doubt in my mind! I wish you would!!

  6. Annie Oakley says:

Duh, just got it. No, you’re not the f’ing ugly sob I was referring to, LMAO!!

  7. TexasFred says:

    Well DUH!! :P

    Took ya long enough… :P

  8. Annie Oakley says:

Well, why don’t you run for something?? You know you’d wrap it up!! Your smart, witty and well versed on any Political issue. I think you would win some type of leadership!!

So, why not?? You’d have alot of support, ppl either love ya or hate ya but the ones that love you will keep the support flowing, and there’s more of them than the haters!

  9. HoosierArmyMom says:

Annie O left out a couple of important characteristics… common sense and someone who says what he means and means what he says every freakin day of the world and not just to win votes or make friends!!!! :-)

  10. Annie Oakley says:

Yeppers, youre so right about that neighbor! Hey, I live SE Ind, are you close or on my friends list? Im looking for political ppl that have a brain!! I want to start something, dont know what, TEAparty maybe but I just want to damage all Rinos, Dems, and as you said PR (Progressive Republicans) btw, that’s just brilliant! Fred can tell you my name if you need it or if you are interested.

  11. HoosierArmyMom says:

It would be an honor to hook up and raise Cain Annie O. I’m in Anderson but will travel to support my fellow patriots!!!! We have a disease affecting this country and it’s called Progressivism. You can count on it that the best way to cure it is to shove a suppository called the TRUTH where the sun don’t shine. :-)

  12. Annie Oakley says:

I asked Fred to send you my name, off this blog. He can give you the email address too. I was impressed with your WebBlog, my goodness your light years ahead of me. I have ALOT of catching up to do. Maybe I can plug in to your group. Im in Bright, edge of Cinti boarder. I’ll look up Anderson and see where its at-Im very interested in getting involved. Doesnt have to be just locally and I dont mind the drive (I gotta break in my new truck anyway :-)

  13. HoosierArmyMom says:

Holy Cow!!!! My brother used to live in Bright! I have a good friend who lives there too. Oh this is going to be kewl.

  14. Ron Russell says:

I have mixed feelings on this one—anytime you have a chance stick it too that sorry Rahm. Where I come down on the other side I see nothing wrong in what he said. I see nothing wrong in using the word “retarded”, just another in a growing list of politically correct words we can no longer us. Flipping the PC back on him is OK in my book, they play this game all the time—we need to learn or leave the damn field. Like I said conflicting opinions on this one.

  15. Mr Pink Eyes says:

People are too sensitice nowadays, people get offended too easily. This is another case of that. However, I would love to see Rahm Emanuel get fired!

  16. Annie Oakley says:

Amen to that Mr Pink Eyes!!

  17. minuteman26 says:

RR - Emanuel won’t get fired while Obama is POTUS. He’s one of the puppet masters, pulls the strings and tells him what to say.

  18. The BoBo says:

At this point I’m beginning to think she’s retarded too!

  19. BobF says:

I’m getting tired of people who get their panties in a wad because someone uses a word they think is offensive. Emanuel wasn’t talking about her son so I don’t see what’s her problem.

  20. TexasFred says:

I think everyone knows that I detest Obama and everyone connected to him, and there’s nothing I would like better than to see them ALL go down in flames, but Palin is a strange bird…

As Bob said, Rahm wasn’t talking about Palin, her kid or anything to do with HER or her family…

We know that the left is comprised of moonbats and retards, we don’t need some of that same BS representing the right in the person of one Sarah Palin…

Stick a fork in her, she’s done, over done, and WAY the hell over exposed…

  21. Kate says:

Ya know, when I read about this earlier today, I kept wondering….what the hell is her problem. Like y’all said, the scumbag wasn’t talking about her young’un.

  22. TexasFred says:

Ahh… But Kate, when you’re a Drama Queen, Media Whore and Attention Whore with a serious penchant for histrionics, it’s ALWAYS about you… :P

  23. James Shott says:

I have a slightly different take on Palin.

I’m not blown away by her like some, and I don’t think she’s Satan incarnate like others.

And I’m sick of the PC crap that liberals love so, and I hate to see conservatives/Republicans indulge in it. I doubt Palin is going to really get much out of her PC demand.

That said, I really love seeing liberals get some of their own medicine.

Like they say: What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.

  24. TexasFred says:

Yeah, Palin looking like a Drama Queen Media Whore really puts em in their place…

Comeuppance we can believe in… :?

  25. mrchuck says:

I hate to say it, but Palin is a “suck-ass” after her decision to campaign for John McCain.

McCain is one of those politicians that will “negotiate” anything, instead of standing strong on his constituent’s beliefs and values.

Therefore for here ever-after, McCain will never get my vote.
Therefore for here ever-after, Palin will never get my vote.

“Let it be said,,,,let it be done” Sorry

  26. Bloviating Zeppelin says:

I have to admit, I was a big fan of Sarah Palin for some time.

When she pulled herself out of the AK Governorship, she made her first Large Mistake.

When she hitched her star BACK up to John McCain, she made her second mistake.

    BZ

  27. Katie says:

Every one of the Mentally Challenged (their words not mine) people I have been privileged to know are a million times better than all the politicians in this country.

  28. phred says:

Palin is all washed up. She is wasting media space and time.
Surely we can find something better before the next election.
Did I mention, I WILL NOT vote for ANY incumbent next time ? Period!
