NATO strike kills Gadhafi’s son but leader escapes
TRIPOLI, Libya (AP) - A NATO missile struck a house in Tripoli where Moammar Gadhafi and his wife were staying on Saturday, missing the Libyan leader but killing his youngest son and three grandchildren, a government spokesman said.
Seif al-Arab Gadhafi was the sixth son of Gadhafi and brother of the better known Seif al-Islam Gadhafi. The younger Gadhafi had spent much of his time in Germany in recent years.
Moammar Gadhafi and his wife were in the Tripoli house of his 29-year-old son, Seif al-Arab Gadhafi, when it was hit by at least one bomb dropped from a NATO warplane, according to Libyan spokesman Moussa Ibrahim.
“The leader himself is in good health,” Ibrahim said. “He was not harmed. The wife is also in good health.”

Well, this is the type of thing that happens when you go to WAR. Oh, wait, we’re not at WAR, this is a kinetic military action. So, that poses this question, what in the HELL is a kinetic military action?
Definition of KINETIC

3: of or relating to kinetic art
All I can figure out is, maybe that motion of material bodies and the forces and energy associated therewith in the definition refers to the bodies that are flying through the air when the air strikes occur, maybe? 😕

Because we ALL know that it’s not politically correct, it’s not a nice thing to do nor is it LEGAL to target foreign leaders for assassination. This had to have a been an *Oh crap, we missed* moment. Right?
Can you imagine the outcry from the American LEFT if this had happened under the administration of George W. Bush? Oh, wait, it DID happen, the circumstances were a bit different, but Saddam Hussein’s sons, Uday and Qusay Hussein were killed by U.S. troops in the northern city of Mosul after a tipster betrayed their hideout. So, now we all know, it must have been an *Oops*, an accident, an inadvertent event that incurred destruction and caused some degree of collateral damage with unintended and unintentional consequences, resulting in the death of innocent civilians.
In other words, it was an ACT OF WAR!

“The attack resulted in the martyrdom of brother Seif al-Arab Gadhafi, 29, and three of the leader’s grandchildren,” Ibrahim said.
Seif al-Arab “was playing and talking with his father and mother and his nieces and nephews and other visitors when he was attacked for no crimes committed,” Ibrahim said.
Journalists taken to the walled complex of one-story buildings in a residential Tripoli neighborhood saw heavy bomb damage. The blast had torn down the ceiling of one building and left a huge pile of rubble and twisted metal on the ground.
Do you suppose that ANYONE has thought of the consequences of this action?
I have harped on this since we went into Afghanistan and Iraq, we are not fighting a war against an enemy that we can touch, we are fighting an ideology, we are fighting a religion, well, THEY call it a religion.
The people that we fight welcome death. They know only one way to live, and that is in submission to Islam and in swearing death to those that don’t. Their ultimate reward is to DIE serving Islam.

This killing of Gadhafi’s son, whether intentional or not, is only going to inspire the Warriors of Islam. They will stop fighting and killing each other so they can band together and kill the Infidel, that would be US.
We have seen it before, in Iraq and Afghanistan, and we will see it in Libya. We may see it right here on American soil. Muslim rage knows no bounds, and they will extract their revenge, as long as so much as one of them lives, they will try to make us pay for any wrong they feel that WE have committed.

There is only one way you defeat the 7th century mentality and that is to be more brutal than they are. When a terrorist kills an American, and we can pin point what group and who led/participated in it. We wipe out their entire blood line. Why the United States is spending money from the taxpayers’ coffers to attack Libya is beyond me. On even the simplest level, it should be clear to every American that such monies should be spent to help people here in the States, most recently in Alabama, which was hit by that rash of devastating tornadoes.
THe double standard is on full display here; the left is going to remain silent about this but we know what would he happening if this were a Republican candidate. Oh, by the way, I thought removing Ghadafi was not a goal of this mission, isn’t that what we were told?
