Iran warns US carrier: Don’t come back to Gulf
TEHRAN, Iran (AP) - Iran’s army chief on Tuesday warned an American aircraft carrier not to return to the Persian Gulf in Tehran’s latest tough rhetoric over the strategic waterway, part of a feud with the United States over new sanctions that has sparked a jump in oil prices.
Gen. Ataollah Salehi spoke as a 10-day Iranian naval exercise ended near the Strait of Hormuz at the mouth of the Gulf. Iranian officials have said the drill aimed to show that Iran could close the vital oil passage, as it has threatened to do if the United States enacts strong new sanctions over Iran’s nuclear program.
The strait, leading into the Gulf of Oman and Arabian Sea, is the only possible route for tankers transporting crude from the oil-rich states of the Persian Gulf to markets. A sixth of the world’s oil exports passes through it every day.
Oil prices rose to over $101 a barrel Tuesday amid concerns that rising tensions between Western powers and Iran could lead to crude supply disruptions. By early afternoon in Europe, benchmark crude for February delivery was up $2.67 to $101.50 a barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Iran warns US carrier: Don’t come back to Gulf
Iran: “Don’t bring your carrier back to the Persian Gulf … or else!”
If TexasFred were the POTUS the conversation would go like this;
Fred: “Or else WHAT? You see this box I have in my hand you Persian goat lover? You see the little RED BUTTON Mahmoud? If I push this little RED BUTTON down, I mean just a little bit down, uh, oops… Oh well, it sucks to be you…”
Who do these Iranian SOBs think they are? It’s almost like they believe they can hold the U.S. hostage … uh, wait … they DID hold the U.S. hostage, and since the days of Jimmy Carter, the USA hasn’t had a POTUS with the BALLS to stand up to the Muslim moonbats that run Iran and make it ultimately clear, WE WILL NOT BE INTIMIDATED.
Once upon a time we were a WORLD POWER, we were feared, we were respected, we were the the bastion of FREEDOM and no one messed with us, then the Democrats took control under John F. Kennedy and the Liberal movement of the Democratic Party began.
It’s been downhill ever since…
Do you honestly see Barack Hussein Obama standing up to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Iran? Or do you see him going on another *Obama Apology Tour*?
I may be wrong, but personally, I see an *Apology Tour* and a plea to not hurt us just because we are *The Great Satan*, and THAT is what Iran believes us to be.
If I were the guy in charge, there would be 3 carrier battle groups parked IN the area, one in the Persian Gulf, one in the Gulf of Oman and one in the Arabian Sea. Just because.
Iran shoots off its mouth all the time because they know the US won’t so anything about it. Problem is, when they do this, oil prices spike and we pay for it at the pump tomorrow. They know that one carrier battle group can lay wast to their military but they also know that Obama won’t do anything to stop them. They saw Jimmy Carter throw the Shah under the bus and now Obama throws Mubarak under the bus.
Interesting how probably the two strongest allies we had in the Arab world were abandoned by Democrat presidents.
Muslim pricks,,,all of them.
I doubt if any of them would make good fertilizer.
So, don’t expect me to accept anything they say or do.
Ho Hum,,,,,push the button.
Next,,,,?
As I’ve said repeatedly over the years; we invested all that money in nukes, so why the hell not use them? Especially neutron warheads. Pop the damned place, then go collect all the oil needed to pay for the operation. Then give the whole enchilada over to whoever!
What stand does Chairman MaObama take? He announce drastic cuts on our military… kind of like sending a personal message to Iran… “Carry On guys, I gotcher backsides”! I’m with Patrick… nuke em! I’m just about sick of their BS.
