Kerry Announces $250 Million in U.S. Aid for Egypt
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — Secretary of State John Kerry announced Sunday that the United States would provide $250 million in assistance to Egypt after Egypt’s president promised to move ahead with negotiations with the International Monetary Fund over economic reforms.
In a statement issued after his two-hour meeting with President Mohamed Morsi, Mr. Kerry said the aid decision reflected Egypt’s “extreme needs” and Mr. Morsi’s assurance that Egypt would reach an agreement with the I.M.F. after more than a year of talks over a $4.8 billion loan package.
The statement issued by Mr. Kerry noted that he and Mr. Morsi had discussed the need to ensure the fairness of Egypt’s coming elections, but it did not mention any specific political commitments the Egyptian president had made to receive the aid.
Parliamentary elections are scheduled for April. Some opposition groups have said they will boycott the vote because of what they see as an effort by Mr. Morsi and his Muslim Brotherhood movement to dominate Egyptian politics. SOURCE

By supporting Morsi we are DIRECTLY supporting the Muslim Brotherhood and that is a statement of fact! So, now I have to wonder, how can ANYONE think that Obama and his regime have the best interest of America in their hearts? How can ANYONE imagine that John Kerry has a brain to call his own? Hasn’t Kerry already pretty much made his anti-American views well known in recent years?

Non-lethal US aid to Syrian rebels draws ire of Iran, Syria
Syria and Iran on Saturday condemned a move by the United States to give non-lethal aid to rebels fighting to topple Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, accusing Washington of double standards.
“I do not understand how the United States can give support to groups that kill the Syrian people,” Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moualem said at a news conference in Tehran with Ali Akbar Salehi, Iran’s foreign minister.
“This is nothing but a double-standard policy … One who seeks a political solution does not punish the Syrian people.” SOURCE
Syria and Iran are pissed off at us because we’re giving aid to Syrian rebels? Well, here’s a big dose of reality for you; I am pissed off that we’re giving MILLIONS in aid to Syrian rebels too!
We, the American people, are taxed almost to the breaking point, our government is in a forced sequestration yet they, our government, are sending aid and weaponry to Egypt and aid to Syrian rebels, and some MORON in D.C. wants us to believe that we’re doing the RIGHT and humanitarian thing.

Why do we have to give money to Muslims that hate us? Will they hate us any more if we cut off ALL foreign aid? Can’t they hate us FOR FREE?
The inmates are running the asylum my friends, Obama wanted this sequester and when the GOP didn’t fall for his BS threats he now tries to make it appear that the GOP forced the sequester upon the American people.
If we’re in need of a HUGE reduction in spending, and we are, why not start with foreign aid? America and Americans 1st.

I completely agree. Our country should come first. If we have such a spending problem, which we surely do, we should start by cutting foreign aid. Especially to countries who are our enemies. Good grief, it just makes common sense to start by cutting the aid we send to them first.
Yeah, and that’s part of the ONE BILLION DOLLAR package going to Egypt.

Obama took $500 million from Israel and guess who gets it. Egypt gets free planes and tanks, and guess who is paying for it? Why do I feel as if I just got shafted up my butt?
This is evidence that our president is a MUSLIM.
And this does not include the IMF gift, of which we contribute close to 20 percent. Just who and how does this money flow without approval of congress.

The Muslim Brotherhood originally claimed, benevolently, that they would not seek to place a president at the head of Egypt … Now we have Morsi. They claimed they would seek no more than 30% of the electoral seats in Egypt … They now control 47% of parliament. Morsi has “purified” the military leadership, and has supplanted its ranks with The Brothers. He has also replaced virtually all economic, diplomatic, provincial, court, banking, and and trade union leaders with members of The Brotherhood. And finally, beyond the borders of Egypt, Morsi has opened fellowship with Iran, obliterating 30 years of Egyptian resistance to the pervasive influence of the Ayatollahs.
This has all happened in a period of less than a year. The Muslim Brotherhood does not intend to release power in Egypt … They are in power-grab mode. They do not intend to remain the solid ally of the West, helping to keep the powder-keg of the Middle East (Israeli-Muslim relations) from igniting … Instead, they are lighting the fuse.
