Obama Admin. Ignores Nullification: Federal Agents Will Enforce ObamaCare

Sad Obama 150President Obama will not wait on states to enforce ObamaCare. The Obama administration has announced its intent to disregard state laws and state constitutional amendments prohibiting the enforcement of ObamaCare. Federal agents from the Department of Health and Human Services will assume absolute control over states’ health insurance industry and regulation in states that refuse to comply with the federal healthcare mandates.

In an exclusive telephone interview with The New American, Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner John Doak reported that the his office has received a letter from Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO) Deputy Administrator and Director Gary Cohen informing him that the federal government will impose ObamaCare regulations on insurance companies in Oklahoma. The CCIIO is part of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

According to a story in Politico, Doak’s colleagues in Missouri, Wyoming, and Texas have received these notifications, as well.

In a press release issue by his office after receiving Cohen’s letter, Doak writes that the “Oklahoma Insurance Department will not be participating in a collaborative effort with the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO) to enforce the Affordable Care Act (ACA).” SOURCE

I am going to be sending this story to Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott because I know that if there is ANY legal recourse Abbott will give these folks a lesson in what being a Conservative Texan and American patriot is all about.

I wanted to send this directly to Texas Insurance Commissioner Eleanor Kitzman but apparently she doesn’t have a direct email address. I did find a contact for Media Relations, and since I am *media*, I’ll submit this to the TIC through that venue.

Actually, I am not sure just how much the TIC can do, I know the Attorney General can, and most likely WILL become actively involved, but I believe in covering ALL the bases.

One thing IS a certainty; Commissioner Kitzman can’t ever say I didn’t try.

Doak’s statement continues:

The Oklahoma Insurance Department regulates the health insurance policies sold in the state and responds to consumer questions and complaints. Our consumer assistance team receives over 30,000 phone calls and our website receives over 1,000,000 visits each year. We will continue to serve these consumers by adhering to our duties under the State Constitution and Statutes. The consumers are the ones who are going to bear the costs of these unnecessary federal regulatory burdens.

In addition to adding new fees to health insurance products that will increase prices both inside and outside the exchange, the ACA requires plans to add expensive and often unnecessary coverage benefits. These costs will impact young adults most severely due to the law’s requirement that older Americans pay no more than three times the premium of young adults. A survey of insurers by the American Action Forum found that average premiums for young, healthy adults may triple going into 2014.

Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner John Doak is directly involved, but I have a few reservations concerning Texas Insurance Commissioner Eleanor Kitzman, not the least of which is this; Texas Insurance Commissioner Eleanor Kitzman could have trouble winning Senate confirmation to keep her job, as Democrats with enough votes to defeat her nomination question her credentials.

Supposedly, according to confidential sources, Kitzman is not very well liked and her style of management has been described as *dictatorial*. Her term ends in May and possibly she will be replaced, hopefully by someone that is willing to work with ALL to assure that Texas has the best and most ethical Office of Commissioner as possible.

In any case, I am submitting this story to MY State Attorney General and Insurance Commission in hopes that they can work together to combat ObamaCare in Texas.

I encourage you to do the same in YOUR state too. We either ALL join in and fight this debacle called ObamaCare or we ALL suffer its consequences.

Yes, there are ALWAYS consequences.

I hate to say this but most Americans will act like the Europeans. They will rant and rail but do nothing. Most Americans are cowards. They will never take up arms for they are too scared.

Obama and the Democrats can do anything they want to us. They know that the majority of Americans will speak loudly but do nothing.

    We have been sissified.

    God help us!

  2. mrchuck says:

Good on you for doing this!
I have high respect for Texas AG Greg Abbott.
Shove it up the “halfrican’s ass.
I will never forgive Obastard for his actions at the airport where he “snubbed” Governor Rick Perry.
And you know Abbott and Perry haven’t forgot about this too.

  3. Right Handed Cowboy says:

With all due respect Katie, I am most Americans, and I am not a coward, saying that “Most” Americans are COWARDs is a very broad statement and it will not set well with Most Americans.

    Just saying….

As I understand it, Katie is going through some serious health issues and appears, at least to me, to be in a very *down and defeated* mode…

Well Brady, I guess we need to welcome her to OUR world of health issues huh??

4 years ago I damn near died, I was in ICU for a week and another week in the hospital… The day I got home I went right back to blogging and fighting…

I will fight until I take my last breath, some folks, not so much… Take that pain patch away from *Maggie*, we may need it.. :P

    • Katie says:

Remember this: Most Americans voted for Obama. Anything that takes away the gravy train they will rise up against, but freedoms they don’t care about.

You Cowboy are not among the Most Americans. We are a dying breed. Patriots. And God help this nation when the last of us dies.

      • Right Handed Cowboy says:

Katie, like Fred I have been and still dealing with serious health items, however I will never give in to and will fight to the bitter end, my family has been represented in each WAR from WWI through Afghanistan and I can attest that they are what Most Americans are…True Americans Patriots.

I am not going to sit and bash you, because I have read many of your post to know that you care for our Country. I know that but others may not. For that reason I felt that you tossed everyone into the category of beung afraid, thats not the case. I know what you were trying to say but did it not come out the way you intended.

Yes there are people who are cowards, but those people are not true Americans, the people to whom you refer are the LIBERALS ; you combine the libtards with the minority vote and the fraudulent vote, you get OBAMA, Obama and his cronies are the one who re-elected this idiot, not me or any like minded person.

I know you well enough by what you write to know what you meant, but the everyday moron, they take you litterally word for word.

However it’s your right to say what you like, just be prepared for some back lash.

        Take care Katie

        • Katie says:

No I’ll fight until I die. But I know that we are fighting not only the libtards, but those who have no concern for the nation. The don’t vote, they care for only their own comfort and they don’t give a damn. These are the folks the Libtards depend on. For if they ever voted or rose up, they would be history.

Liberals did a good job indoctrinating the youth of America.
We’d better gain back the nation fast or we are lost.

  5. LD Jackson says:

This fight is going to hinge on how strongly the states push back against the federal government. At some point, we have to realize that the current state of the federal government is a far cry from what the founders of America intended it to be. The states are supposed to be supreme in this union, but that is no longer the case. That cycle has to be broken.
