Our Judeo Christian Values

NEW School prayer :
Now I sit me down in school
Where praying is against the rule
For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd.If Scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights.
And anytime my head I bow
Becomes a Federal matter now.Our hair can be purple, orange or green,
That’s no offense; it’s a freedom scene.
The law is specific, the law is precise.
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice. For praying in a public hall
Might offend someone with no faith at all.
In silence alone we must meditate,
God’s name is prohibited by the state. We’re allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks..
They’ve outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
To quote the Good Book makes me liable. We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,
And the ‘unwed daddy,’ our Senior King.
It’s ‘inappropriate’ to teach right from wrong,
We’re taught that such ‘judgments’ do not belong. We can get our condoms and birth controls,
Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles.
But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd. It’s scary here I must confess,
When chaos reigns the school’s a mess.
So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should I be shot; My soul please take! Amen
I don’t know about you, but I am pretty tired of all this brouhaha. When I was a kid in school we stood before the flag, every morning, and we recited the Pledge of Allegiance and the Lord’s Prayer!
There are some today that have no idea what the Lord’s Prayer is, and that is a travesty. If you want to say a prayer, if you want to ask for others to join you IN prayer, by ALL means, do so. Any that don’t wish to participate can just stand there quietly, or sit, as the case may be, out of respect for US exercising OUR rights to FREE SPEECH as WE SEE FIT!!
I believe in freedom of religion and see nothing wrong with expressing your religious beliefs in an appropriate manner, and at an appropriate time. I also believe in freedom FROM religion. If you, or I don’t want to participate, that too is our right. That’s the great thing about America, we are FREE to express ourselves, well, unless you’re a Christian and wish to say a prayer before a function…

Ya hear that sound Fred? That’s me clapping like hell. Well said. The 86% need to tell these other 14% to set down and shut the hell up, or better yet………..just get the hell out and don’t let the door hit you in your athiestic ass on the way .
The reason we have religious freedom guaranteed in our Constitution is because we’re a Judeo-Christian nation. The reason you can be a Catholic, Protestant, Jew, Hindu, Buddhist, Wiccan, Atheist, or Agnostic is because we’re a Judeo-Christian nation. This is rooted in the bible and is found in all four of the Gospels. Jesus Christ never stayed where He wasn’t wanted. He never forced Himself on anyone who didn’t want Him and wouldn’t allow His disciples to do so either. When He sent the Apostles out in twos, He told them that if they weren’t received, they were to leave that placed and shake the dust of it off their feet.
Matthew 10:14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
Our Founding Fathers knew Judeo-Christian principals and values even though some of them weren’t Christian. They had a respect and knowledge of these principals and values and knew that a people who lived by them would be productive and honorable people. Even someone who denies God can do so because of the principals and values of God our Forefathers believe in.
For Obama to say otherwise means that he’s ignorant of our history and culture. Just because he’s president doesn’t mean he can dictate what type of nation we are.
Marxists don’t beleive in God; therefore they don’t adhere or beleive in the Judeo/Christian principles this country was founded upon. The dumbass electorate elected a bunch of Marxists this time around.
The strangest thing I saw this week Fred was a bunch of teens with strangely colored hair, piercings and weird clothes standing on a street corner reciting the gospel.
I am sure that God was lol at their appearance and proud of their words.
Look not at the clothes of the messenger, but at his message.
