Bush pardons 29, but not Scooter Libby

December 12th, 2007 . by TexasFred

WHITE HOUSE - The list includes carjackers, drug dealers, a moonshiner and even an election law violator.

In all, President Bush has pardoned 29 convicts and reduced the prison sentence of another in the annual end-of-the-year tradition.

But Bush did not pardon I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby, Vice President Cheney’s former top aide who was convicted in the case of the leaked identity of a CIA agent. Bush has already commuted Libby’s jail term in that case.

Bush pardons 29, but not Scooter Libby

Personally, I don’t give a damn about Scooter, he’s not too high on my list of priorities to be totally honest with you, and the Bumbler in Chief has once again shown where his loyalties and tastes lie…

Blatantly missing from the list of those pardoned were Ramos and Compean, the Border Patrol agents that were imprisoned on the testimony of a drug dealer, an illegal alien named Osbaldo Aldrete-Davila of Mexico, an piece of garbage that continues to run drugs back and forth across the border while Ramos and Compean sit in jail…

Bush had several drug dealers pardoned today, and I find that to be an appalling circumstance, especially given the previous accusations against Bush concerning his supposed involvement with drugs in the past, there were several other categories of criminals pardoned as well, and several appear to have been bootleggers, convicted of IRS liquor laws, imagine that, a Mexican loving former drunk and suspected former coke head pardons a bunch of cohorts, so to speak, and NOT the Border Patrol Agents that were doing their job and got the shaft…

I looked this list over repeatedly and nowhere did I see names of the Border Patrol Agents or the Sheriffs Deputy that are imprisoned for doing their jobs, way to go G.W., way to go…

I had words with the Republican National Committee and Missouri Republican Party concerning Ramos and Compean. I was a member and contributed to both the state and national party but when these men were sent to prison by the Bush Administration and the Republicans in Congress were quite about it, my money stopped flowing. The Missouri party rep said these men were criminals who deserved prison and then she hung up on me.

When Bush was questioned about these men in a Town Hall Meeting in Tennessee, all he would say was his “good friend” Johnny Sutton prosecuted the case and his good friend couldn’t be wrong.

It was either Hunter or Trancedo who mentioned these men today during the debate today.

I swear Bush is on a mission to go down in history as the stupidest President this country has ever known. So far so good…

I gotta get out of here, I’m seeing his goofy ass smirk and his shoulders going up and down in my mind as he laughs… Grrr.

Here’s what the RNC doesn’t “get.” You either STAND BY OUR CONSERVATIVE IDEALS, or you can COUNT on the river of cash, cash from BobF, cash from BZ, DRYING THE FUCK UP.

I’m sorry, but pardoning DRUG DEALERS whilst keeping these men in prison is simply the act of a dithering idiot. With this action, Mr. President, you may as well change your party to Demorat.

Holding cops LOWER than drug dealers, Mr. Bush? Fuck you.

The Republican Party left me with Bush 41. It is a shame Bush 43 claims to be from the same political party as Ronald Reagan. Neither Bush can hold a candle to RR.

My great hope is that these three LEOs get out of prison ASAP. My next great hope is that Bush’s butt buddy crony Johnny Sutton ends up in prison.

If Ramos and Compean are still in prison tomorrow, it’s too damned long, Bush has his head up his ass, as usual…
