13 die in Mexico border shootouts
April 26th, 2008 . by TexasFredTIJUANA, Mexico - Massive, running gunbattles broke out between suspected drug traffickers on the streets of this violent border city Saturday, killing 13 people and wounding nine, law enforcement officials said.
Dead bodies scattered along the road marked one of the deadliest shootouts in Mexico’s three-year-old drug warfare.
All of the dead were believed to be drug traffickers, possibly rival members of the same cartel who were trying to settle scores, said Rommel Moreno, the attorney general of Baja California state, where Tijuana is located.
Two of the dead were believed to be senior hit men for the Arellano Felix cartel and were identified by the large gold rings on their fingers. The rings carried the icon of Saint Death, a ghoulish figure that gangsters believe protects them, police said.
“Today shows we are facing a terrible war never seen before on the (U.S.-Mexico) border,” Moreno said during a news conference.
Police cordoned off all the surrounding roads, forcing workers at a nearby maquiladora to walk through the crime scene to get to work.
“Another shootout,” said a woman who gave her name only as Lisa. “There are just too many, we are so afraid.”

I just want to ask a couple of questions of my readers, how long do you think it will be before this type of thing spills over the border?? How long before U.S. citizens become the victims of these brainless thugs??
And it WILL happen, right here on our streets, in Hometown, USA??

I’m actually giving some seious thought to joining the Militia up here. I am so sick of this shit… and it will continue until we do away with the PC freaks.
I guess this is why rednecks ‘cling to their guns.’ God knows there isn’t a cityslicker politician that has any juice will do anything about it and the three Presidental Candidates all love criminals more than law abiding citizens.
Fred, it already IS spilling over the border.
For example, a good number of members of the latino gang known as MS-13 are illegals.
It’s going to start happening soon as the gangs grow in numbers, power, and wealth. Better buy guns and ammo now because neither of the three possible candidates are gun friendly. McCain will throw gun owners to the dogs just as fast as Hillary or Obama.
Happened before in 1911 or so. That’s when Pershing was sent into Mexico to stop it. We might be there again before long.
Mexico has been at war with the US for a long time now and the government just sits there doing jack about it, these border crossing acts of war have gone on far too long, and ya know Fred, the violence has crept to the streets of Mainstreet USA. That is if the streets of illegal filled California still count as US, in the form of the MS-13 Mexican mafia crapola and all the other infamous gangs from south of the border.
