Dust-Ups Punctuate Blitzer Interviews

NEW YORK (AP) - Wolf Blitzer’s in the news again. CNN’s colorful, attack-dog journalist was involved in another on-air confrontation, this time with “Sicko” filmmaker Michael Moore.

Wait a minute. THAT Wolf Blitzer?

The only thing colorful about the methodical, old-school reporter is his first name. Yet with Moore, Vice President Cheney and Lynne Cheney, that makes three memorable skirmishes during Blitzer interviews in nine months.

It’s less a reflection on the 59-year-old CNN host than on the growing occupational hazard for people like him: the interview subject who’s ready to pick a fight.

Moore was seething before Blitzer even asked anything on the July 9 appearance. CNN had preceded the interview with a taped report by Dr. Sanjay Gupta alleging Moore had fudged some facts in “Sicko.” Moore disagreed, and felt sandbagged.

OK, I understand Blitzer and CNN attacking the President and VP, I can understand them attacking the RIGHT of this nation, it’s what CNN does, they were called the Clinton News Network for a good reason, and it wasn’t because they were just covering Clinton news…

This is what I found hilarious about the story, we ALL know that Michael Moore is as big a far left moonbat as it gets, but damn, just how big a moonbat do you have to be to get CNN to take issue with you??

And how big a moonbat outfit has CNN become for one of their fellow left leaning MSM news outlets (AP) to take a poke at them??

Mikey needs to check his moonbat credentials carefully, he may have just been given a substantial promotion in the world of moonbattery…

And without further ado, I award Michael Moore, Wolf Blitzer, CNN et al, an Honorable Mention in TexasFred’s Moonbat Hall of Fame!

If ever a group of people deserve to be mentioned as moonbats, this is the crew…

    LMAO, I actually watched that interview not long ago and thought it was hilarious. Sadly, it was over before the pop corn was done though…

    Blitzer can be an odd duck. I did, however, particularly enjoy the confrontation between he and Lynn Cheney when she as much as throat-punched him, nationally, when she gave him back as good as she got.

    As an aside, it occurs to me that NO ONE has mentioned the OBVIOUS when it comes to the movie “SICKO” and that is: Moore himself is morbidly obese. For someone as caring or, perhaps I should re-phrase, for someone as FRIGHTENED of American Healthcare as he is apparently, Moore certainly is doing his weighty best to ensure he becomes SUBJECT to this heinous healthcare system, for he’s just precious seconds or weeks or months away from his OWN very personal stroke or heart attack.

    Doesn’t make sense does it?

    Oh wait — I’m sure that, with his money, Moore will just hire his own PERSONAL doctor and pay cash for whatever ails him. Moore belong to an HMO? Subject HIMSELF to what us “groundlings” encounter? Never!

    BZ
