This is going to be a BIG EVENT! The Rowlett Texas TEA Party is sponsoring an event in conjunction with the 9-12 Project for those that can’t get to the BIG ONE in Washington, D.C.
Our event will be MC’d by J.D. Wells of KLIF Radio 570 AM and we will also have an *Open Mic* segment for attendees, there will be a 3 minute limit enforced so we can have as many speakers as possible.
The Mayor of Rowlett, Dr. John Harper has committed to speak at this event. Mayor Harper is a great Conservative and always has very powerful message to share!
And now we have WONDERFUL NEWS!! Michael Williams is going to be at this event and will be speaking. Mr. Williams is the Texas Railroad commissioner and is running for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Sen. Hutchison. Mr. Williams is a great guy and I know this will be good for his Senate race and our TEA Party too!
We are hoping to have this as an event broadcast live via remote on KLIF, as that develops, we will make additional announcements.
All television news stations in the D/FW metroplex, Channels 4, 5, 8, 11 and 21 have been notified as have the Dallas Morning News and The Rowlett Lakeshore Times.
We will also have voter registration people from Dallas, Rockwall and Hunt Counties on hand to register voters as needed.
