(CNSNews.com) - Sheriff Larry Dever of Cochise County, Ariz., one of four Arizona counties contiguous with the U.S-Mexico border, said Friday that the U.S. Border Patrol has pulled back from parts of the border in his and neighboring counties because manning those areas has become too dangerous.
“And you frankly have Border Patrolmen-and I know this from talking to Border Patrol agents—who will not allow their agents to work on the border because it is too dangerous,” Dever told CNSNews.com in a videotaped interview. “Now what kind of message is that for crying out loud?”
Dever, a native of Cochise County, has been in local law enforcement in the county for three decades. He was elected the county sheriff in 1996.
Dever stressed that the Border Patrolmen are ready and willing to perform their mission of securing the border, but that Border Patrol managers had determined that in “some places” the danger was too great and they wanted to avoid the risk of an international incident such as a cross-border firefight.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement chief: President Obama not soft on illegal immigrants
The Obama administration is committed to tough enforcement of the nation’s immigration laws and is not “pro-amnesty,” the director of the nation’s immigration-enforcement agency said Thursday.
The Obama administration removed a record 380,000 people during the past fiscal year and made a priority of deporting illegal immigrants who pose the greatest threat to public safety, said John Morton, director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Morton was in Phoenix to announce that ICE agents had just completed a three-day sweep in Arizona tracking down illegal immigrants with criminal records. He also defended the agency’s track record amid criticism that President Barack Obama’s administration has been lax on immigration enforcement and hasn’t done enough to secure the border.
Morton said this week’s operation in Arizona was the largest ever conducted in the state. It resulted in the arrest of 63 illegal immigrants. At least 25 already have been deported.

So, what does the Obama regime do? Spend more MILLIONS of our tax dollars on programs that will, essentially, be nothing more than *toothless tigers*.
Obama signs $600M border security bill into law
WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama on Friday signed a bill directing $600 million more to securing the U.S.-Mexico border, a modest election-year victory that underscores his failure so far to deliver an overhaul of immigration law.
The new law will pay for the hiring of 1,000 more Border Patrol agents to be deployed at critical areas, as well as more Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents. It provides for new communications equipment and greater use of unmanned surveillance drones. The Justice Department gets more money to help catch drug dealers and human traffickers.
But the bill fell short by the standards Obama has set for dealing with the immigration problem. In a speech last month Obama reiterated his commitment to a comprehensive approach that would secure the border but also address the 11 million illegal immigrants already in the country.

There are a couple of things I must point out.
First, these words, a commitment to a comprehensive approach, is simply a string of code words, read AMNESTY.
Second, also address the 11 million illegal immigrants already in the country. That is an open, bold face lie on the part of the Obama administration. The numbers are a lot closer to 22 million, twice the number that Obama and Company will admit to.

George W. Bush wanted to give amnesty to the ILLEGALS, and everyone still sings his praises. Obama wants to do the same thing, but everyone castigates him for doing many of the very same things that his predecessor did, bailouts, mismanagement and attempts to grant blanket amnesty.

I don’t know who sings GWB’s praises for his amnesty plan. Hell not even the illegals gave him credit for trying. Anyone ever heard “Now that GWB tried to give us Amnesty, La Raza is now Republican”? Not going to happen.
Same thing was said during the McCain/Kennedy/Bush amnesty plan. Everyone thought if a Republican pushed through amnesty it would equate to votes for “R”…Never would have and still wont.
I’d be willing to be if a republican president, house and senate leader pushed through a bill that gave blanket amnesty to all illegals, and gave them a car and a house, they would still vote Dem. That’s the level of brainwashing we are dealing with.
As far as the border. I have a great plan, so do Sheriff Joe, Ted Nugent, TexasFred and a few others…And it would involve comprehensive solutions to an existing problem…the fix would not be pretty but it would be 100% effective.
George Bush’s amnesty plan was a didaster waiting to happen and so is Obama’s. Until we get a president who is serious about this issue we will continue to read stories about the border being to dangerous for our border patrol, and stories of Americans dying at the border.
I understand the head of ICE just got a vote of “NO CONFIDENCE” from the rank and file of that org. No wonder! They raid Arizona for a week and round up 63 illegals? Maybe they have a personal grudge of some kind against those 63???? I mean like, HEY! They could come over to Longview Texas on the day food stamps are passed out and collect 63 illegals at the local SUPER 1 food store at any hour of the day. 63 in one week in Arizona? Yeah, obviously they had a personal thing going against those 63. Maybe Texas could ship a few [illegals] to Arizona to supplement their catch and release program there. Only kidding. I know Arizona has it rough. In Texas there was a stat put out the other day that said sixty thousand (60,000) anchor babies a year (60,000 a year) were born to illegals in Texas. 60,000 is a fairly good sized little city in anybody’s language. So each and every year Texas has been adding the equivalent of one illegal mexican city to its welfare roles. Now, as Jimmy Durante would say, “WHAT A REVOLTIN DEVELOPEMENT THIS IS”.

This mess at our southern border is going to reap the whirlwind. American citizens living near the border had better be armed to the teeth! They’re going to have to defend themselves and their property.
For cryin’ out loud! Will someone please put my red-necked American ass in the White House?! I’ll fix this mess on DAY #1, and here’s how…
First, call up all Navy Reserve Seabee, National Guard & Air Guard units and send them to the southern Border to patrol for illegals. Their orders: finish the fence & then move 100 ft north & build another, higher/ stronger fence with high mounts at 250 meter intervals. On each mount is to be placed a GE .30 cal mini-gun equipped with motion detection. There last act is to set a mine field between the fences & arm the minis. Next, they move to our Northern border to begin work there.
Secondly, the America Navy has more Admirals than it has SHIPS! They are ALL fired. Each Fleet will have a new Admiral appointed from the best of the Captains List. Next, the newly formed, but toothless Caribbean Fleet would be assigned the ships it needs - including a complete carrier task force, both of the new corvettes, at least two of the newer littoral subs and a few of the aging, but still very capable LA class subs. Their mission is to patrol all waters to our south, intercept all unmarked & suspicious shipping & subs. They shall give one & only one warning to heave-to & prepare to be boarded. One, & only one ‘warning shot” will be fired. The next go right into the waterline. Any shipping seen tossing ‘stuff’ overboard will be sunk with no further warnings or rescue.
Finally, illegals will be rounded up and deported immediately. Use cattle trucks if necessary. Anyone runs or fights - shoot them. Any cities that claim sanctuary status will have all federal funds cut to zero & the federal highway (Interstate) exits leading into said city will be dynamited. They are on their own hook until they want to be part of the Union again.
Then I’ll go to bed and rest up for DAY 2.
You may also recall that President Bush called the Minutemen “vigilantes” for wanting to secure our sovereign borders. . .

What I said in the above statement is TRUTH. It doesn’t matter WHICH party grants the amnesty, the D’s will benefit from the voters. IF people don’t believe that they need their head examined.

IF the R’s can’t convince the Blacks to be republicans after all the civil rights issues R’s pushed through, hope is lost. IF Republcans can’t convince Blacks to be R’s after freeing them from slave owners, all hope is lost on them…Same thing for Hispanics. IF R’s can’t match the food in the trough to keep them voting for them, They are DEMS for life.
