Protesters tee off on big-spending politicians, taxes at Dallas-Fort Worth tea parties

For perhaps the only time Wednesday evening, the masses assembled outside Dallas City Hall grew quiet as the man who drew them there, Phillip Dennis, hunched over a wooden lectern, his eyes narrowing.

But the libbers say none of this was real. If it wasn’t *real*, how did we get so many people out to these things all over America??

“We will be called haters, and we are. We are haters of big-spending politicians. We will be called racists, and we are – we are members of the human race,” Dennis, a McKinney resident, said as silence turned to roars.

Such moments encapsulated the spirit of area “Tax Day Tea Parties” – unapologetic public rallies that involved Republicans, conservatives and libertarians railing against government expansion, federal taxation and, ostensibly, the government of Democratic President Barack Obama.

The tea parties were a great success America. We had our detractors. The MSM was leading the charge in an effort to label us as a few far right, fringe radicals, a bunch of guilt ridden Domestic Terrorists. And why not? It appears that is exactly how our own government, and the DHS look at us.

ACORN said we were protesting because we were racists and we didn’t like Obama. They say it’s all because we’re not happy with having a BLACK president. We’re suppose to be bitter because a Black man is in the WHITE House. Tell that to all the Black people that showed up at the Tea Parties. Maybe they too are racists, that’s what the moonbats at ACORN would have you think I suppose.

Many of our detractors said these Tea Party protests weren’t even real!

Maybe what they meant to say was, the Tea Parties weren’t really. They weren’t REALLY a peaceful protest. They weren’t REALLY against Obama. They weren’t REALLY racist. They weren’t REALLY anti-Dems or Pro Repubs. They weren’t REALLY a friendly gathering of like minded souls that got their message across without shooting one another.

The Tea Parties weren’t REALLY anything other than a bunch of American Patriots standing together in hopes of saving America from the clutches of socialism, and the socialist inspired administration that has Her in a vise-like grip.

Phillip Dennis said, “The conservative sleeping giant is awake. He is awake, and he is hungry. We will not go gently into socialism – at least not here in Texas.” and Mr. Dennis is quite correct. The Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto is quoted as saying after the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, “I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.” and that America, is exactly what the socialists that are attempting to dominate and control this nation have done.

This isn’t about skin pigmentation. This isn’t about right or left political ideologies. This isn’t about being a Democrat or a Republican. This is about being an American Patriot and about our banding together to fight the powers that be in Washington, D.C. and any state that stands against strict interpretation of our great constitution.

The 1st time Americans revolted against an oppressive government there was a mere handful of PATRIOTS involved at the start. When it was over, we were a nation, full of PATRIOTS, full of pride and we were FREE Americans. That time has come once again America.

I don’t hate America, I hate what America has become. Barring a successful rebuilding OF America, my true loyalties lie with the great state of Texas and the REPUBLIC we once were. We may have to become that free REPUBLIC once again. Texas sovereignty! You can interpret that in ANY manner you please!

National Tax Day Tea Party - Rowlett Texas

Not too much to post at the moment, getting ready to head out to the Rowlett, Texas Tax Day Tea Party. I hope you will be supporting these Tea Parties in your home town too. I will have a post up later tonight covering the days happenings! Be safe out there folks, and watch your back!!

Tax Day Tea Parties and American Patriots

For the last few days these post have been really HOT here at TexasFred’s and have garnered me a great number of *hits* from the blog world. The Texas Sovereignty Movement, Oath Keepers: Orders We Will Not Obey, The Legal issues of Secession as a Legitimate Recourse of the States, Rowlett Texas Tea Party - April 15, 2009, Texas Tea Party - REMEMBER THE ALAMO and National Tax Day Tea Party - Dallas, TX

I hope that this isn’t just a flash in the pan. I hope ALL Conservative Americans are participating in these movements and Tax Day Tea Parties. The Texas Sovereignty Movement is one of my pet projects. It’s not that I don’t want to be an American any more, it’s just that I don’t want to be a part of America the way it is right now. I am working to change everything I can, and doing everything I know how to get this nation back on the level, but there is only so much that any individual and any one state can do.

The battle to get the USA back to the level of respect and prosperity is a fight that will take ALL Conservatives to accomplish. The Democrats and RINOs have run this nation into the ground with their tax and spend, One World Government and open checkbook to the world BS. If you haven’t weighed in on this fight and offered solutions to the problems, then you are, in my opinion, a part OF the problem. This battle must be waged at STATE levels, if your Congressional representative is not a Conservative, vote him/her out and place one in D.C. that is. The same for your Senators too. Get Conservative people in D.C. and put the tax and spend Dems and RINOs out to pasture.

I support an organization called Oath Keepers. For those that don’t know, there is an oath that ALL military members take when sworn in:

I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

That part about obeying the orders of the POTUS, that’s where the UCMJ comes to bear, no military member will obey an ILLEGAL order. See the Oath Keepers site for all the details. We face more dangers from the enemy within right now than many care to admit. That is the reason I support this fine organization.

That brings me to the Tax Day Tea Parties. One of the most ingenious ideas to come along in quite a while. How simple can it be? Send a Tea Bag to ALL of your elected officials, the symbolism will not escape them if they know ANYTHING about American history.

The mainstream media is doing everything within their power to downplay the Tea Parties, all except FOX News and a few Conservative talk radio stations. The MSM are trying to convince America that this is a racist protest, an attempt at anarchy, oh hell, pick a moonbat idea, any idea, and that’s what we are against. They are trying to label us as Domestic Terrorists, even the Department of Homeland Security has jumped on the band wagon. Homeland Security on guard for ‘right-wing extremists’

Approximately half of this nation is angry with our government, truth be known it’s likely an even higher number, some Democrats are seeing the light and many Dems are a lot more Conservative than their libber brethren would like for the rest of America to know. The Libs and hard left try to say that all of our (the Conservatives) issues are nothing more than nonsense and manufactured grievances. You decide, and ask yourself WHY our leaders and government have:

• Consistently given special interest groups billions of dollars in earmarks to help get re-elected?
• Have taken people’s wealth and redistributed it to others?
• Punished those who practice responsible financial behavior and rewarded those who do not admit to using the financial hurt of millions as an opportunity to push their political agenda?
• Run up trillions of dollars of debt and then sell that debt to countries such as China?
• Wants government-controlled health care?
• Wants to take away the right to vote with a secret ballot in union elections?
• Refuses to stop the flow of millions of illegal immigrants into the country?
• Appoints a defender of child pornography to the No. 2 position in the justice department?
• Wants to force doctors and other medical workers to perform abortions against their will?
• Wants to impose a carbon tax on electricity, gas and home heating fuels?
• Wants to reduce tax deductibility for charitable gifts?
• And takes money from family budgets to pay for their federal budget?

I don’t know about you, but when I look at that list I see issues that are REAL, not manufactured. Maybe it’s just me, maybe I am an old fashioned kind of guy. I believe that PATRIOTISM is not something you just talk about, love of country is not a dinner topic, these are subjects that require action, and the time FOR that action is NOW.

These Tea Parties are only the start of things. Let’s get out there and prove the libbers and MSM wrong, lets show them what REAL American patriotism looks like. We can save this nation but it’s going to take a lot more than just talk, and Wednesday, April 15, 2009 is the day that We the People stand and let our voices be heard, loud and clear, as we tell ALL of our lawmakers, local, state and federal, we ARE mad as hell, and we’re NOT going to take it any more. That’s got to more than a slogan, it has got to be the battle cry for Conservative America and a true belief!

There’s a lot of Tea Parties that are planning on having elected officials speak to the crowds. I am fully aware that not ALL politicians are bad, but this nation needs a political house cleaning the likes of which has never been seen. Be careful regarding sitting politicians and their views, before you take their words to heart, take the time to investigate their actions and deeds these last few years, then make your decision regarding their sincerity and support of this movement!

By God, I believe it’s time that We, the People, took back our nation, banished our ineffectual masters and started over. This time we do it the RIGHT way, we stick to the beliefs and intent of our founding fathers!

These Tea Parties are merely a precursor to a more involved effort, and a more intense area of action, one that the Obama administration is NOT prepared for. American people are supposed to be a FREE people, not a herd of sheep following a socialist empowerment artist and his minions!

Stand America, let the powers that be know, we ARE mad as hell and we are not going to allow this lunacy to continue. The media and our socialist government want to label us as Domestic Terrorists? Then by God, we shall give them good reason to label us as such! At least, I will. Will you and yours stand and do likewise?
