Developing: Black Panthers Finger!
November 4th, 2008 . by TexasFredDEVELOPING STORY — Intimidation tactics, missing ballots and faulty machinery are plaguing some voters across the country as they go to polling stations to elect either John McCain or Barack Obama to be the next president of the United States.
In Philadelphia, FOX News’ Rick Leventhal received a report from Republican poll watcher Chris Hill that two Black Panthers had stationed themselves at the door to a polling station and were intimidating voters. One held a nightstick, Hill said.
Hill told FOX News that he went to talk to the men, and they told him white power didn’t rule there.
The man reportedly carrying a nightstick was escorted away from the polling station by police. Outside, FOX News found another Black Panther who said he was a certified observer. Police asked him and the FOX News crew to leave the polling station.

There’s your problem right there, Fred, you were reading the USA Today! I gave up reading their bland mush of quasi-national news long ago (mainly when I stopped working at the hotel where they brought “complimentary” (read: free) copies).
Maybe the Alumni could agree to change the name of the school… to Robert E. Lee! I get really tired of the folks here in Texas who want to change the names of schools (in the Mexican neighborhoods) to Cesar Chavez. Why the fug not pick Lorenzo de Zavala to name it after, if you’re wanting a “Hispanic” historical figure for the brats to look up to “who is the same skin color” as they are!
Matt, as a fairly credible blogger, I read ALL news sources, even FOX News… You would be well advised to do so as well, compile data from ALL sources, and then form an opinion based on those many views…
My advice. Get ready for a ‘real civil war’, and not a war between the states. Just look to the former Rhodesia which at one time was a diamond in the mud of Africa, then blacks took complete control and now the former Rhodesia is a hellhole. This BLACK voter would say the same thing, that it’s ridiculous that people camp out at polling places to intimidate other voters. It’s a disgrace no matter what race or hate group you belong to.
But this has NOTHING to do with Obama. I refuse to make everything a Black/Obama vs. White/McCain debate. Clearly every Black person is NOT voting for Obama and every White person is NOT voting for McCain.
The racial division tied to the candidates has to be erased. I’m so sick of race politics and whatnot, that I’m becoming more and more apathetic to entire notion that we are still a race ruled country.

The other thing folks should realize: When Obama doesn’t make all black folks rich (the ones that he has really been pushing/using for votes) he will become a sellout, an uncle tom in the media that gave him such a boost.
Look at other successful Black leaders that have not came through on their promises… When you promise the world to those that have no desire to work hard, and do the right things, THEY will be left wanting.

I’m not looking to Barack Obama for ANYTHING. Not to sound an ultra conservative Christian (not a regular church goer) but I’m placing all bets on the Lord. Obama is NOT the savior and it upsets me that people think such, both Black and White.
I do get to have some fantasy world time and believe that people aren’t just voting in this election because Obama is running. I can have my euphoric moment. :0)
I’m more concerned on other issues. And truly no man can secure our fate for what may or may not happen in the future.
There are no Black leaders. We have NO consensus on who would be considered a leader. I do not agree with the majority of Black people on most issues, but it doesn’t make me less Black or less American.
I only speak for Tish. No one else. I admit I wish this election were less racial than what it is turning out to be.

Well Unfortunately Tish, this is a racial issue. It became a racial issue the minute Obama played the card against Hillary, and he continued to fan it in front of McCain. It became racial when the left decided on CODE WORDS.
Unfortunately, the media allowed it to go unchecked. AND it was allowed by McCain to go unchecked rather than go after the racism Obama grew up with.
We are at a crossroads. This is the first time ever that I have been able to pick out who voted for who based on the color of their skin, and the euphoria of the moment. Folks leaving going whoo hoo.. we are going to have ablack president.. I hope they have a good one.. BUT no one is thinking about the effect of a bad one… THIS is a watershed moment. THIS will tell the story.

I can’t believe that the intimidation tactics the Black voters were claiming and more importantly were accusing of Republican white voters had been national news for several weeks after the last election when we Floridians screwed up. The Black Panthers appear to be learning what “an eye for an eye” means..or at least their psychedelic perversion of the rule. Since the tactics were used last election, they will conduct themselves accordingly. This is the civilian army I believe Michael savage was talking about regarding Obama’s idea. The Second Amendment was never more important than now..and our forefathers show how supreme they really were. To have the intelligence to write what they did, but keep dictatorial aspirations “a la Caesar” out of their own aspirations speaks volumes to their credit. Long live Texas! Long live Democracy! And G-d help us all if we follow the way of Joseph Stalin and Karl Marx.

I noticed in Palm Beach Island they were handing out free sandwiches when you wait to vote. They handed out free water in Wellington, Fl. Maybe the Black Panthers were offering free digital exams to all the voters while waiting on line.

The black for black I can understand and that’s the real difference between blacks and whites, as 99.9999% of blacks are loyal to anything black. You can’t say that about whites for whites and if history is any judge you could never say that.
