Apples and Wine

Let me show you what happens when you teach your kid how to Blog!

She must have learned this from her Mother…

Apples and Wine

Women are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men don’t want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they sometimes take the apples from the ground that aren’t as good, but easy. The apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they’re amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who is brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree.

Now men … men are like a fine wine. They begin as grapes, and it’s up to women to stomp the shit out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.

Proudly stolen from my daughters site, Diamond in the Rough, please visit her if you can, she’s just getting started in blogging and it appears she is off to a great start…

And after I got the shit stomped out of me I ended up as a nasty bottle of Mad Dog 20/20… :(

Must be why fast food is the norm around here.

Joking before I really do get the shit stomped out of me.

This is too good. Never quite heard it put that way……. Great site, too - she’s a good writer, I know you’re proud.

    T. F.,

Since your talented daughter is so interested in agriculture in general and apples in particular, this might be a perfect occasion to bring her up to speed on the venerable ‘apple and the tree’ metaphor.

What’s the point in being a proud dad if you can’t take credit for all her stellar qualities and blame everything else on her mother?

Your daughter is beautiful, she must take after your wife, she has to take after your wife.

    I love her blog.
