Douchebag of the Week - Oct. 19th

For his past transgressions as an adulterer, for his ethics sanctions by the House in 1997, eighty-four ethics charges, for his notorious RINO stance on nearly everything, for his endorsement of Dede Scozzafava in the NY-23 House race, Newt Gingrich wins the nefarious title of Douchebag of the Week!

This award can be presented to many deserving individuals and groups I believe, and I am always open to suggestion concerning the next recipient!

You forgot the stupid endorsement of Global Warming as a “real cause” during the election Texas Fred. That frosted my arse!!! That’s also one of the reasons I don’t place much on Hannity anymore… his endless butt kissing of RINO’s like Gingrich and McCain!!! They appear on many programs, but nobody butt kisses em like Sean!!!

Yep….can’t forget that cozy couch cuddle up!

Gotta tell ya….I’m surprised, but a change is nice……once in a while. Heh.

Gingrich has had some excellent ideas in his time, and he’s a knowledgeable historian. Unfortunately he’s too interested in seeking “moderation” in sacrifice of true Conservative ideals.

HAM: I have asked for nominations, accompanied by citation…

Kate: I hate eating the same dinner night after night, once in a while a good old fashioned PB&J hits the spot… :P

    BZ: Exactly!

You should have listed both Newt and Dede….especially since she is almost as left wing as Obama….after all if it wasn’t for her…Newt would have never won this one.

Yeah, but nobody seems to pick em better than you do TF!!! With so many out there, it’s a tough job, but you nail it so well. :-)

I couldn’t believe it when I heard he supported Dede Scozzafava. It only goes to show that Gingrich supports the party line, not conservatism.

I remember too when he threw JC Watts under the bus when Watts rightfully called Jesse Jackson as a race hustler poverty pimp.

I went to the second Tea Party in New York City, but was very upset when I heard Newt was going to be there. I stayed for most of it, but left before he came out. I couldn’t sanction that man’s speaking at an event for liberty. There are a lot of RINO’s here in NY, but we’re working hard to identify them and oust them.
As a Texan, I was more than a little nervous moving here (politically speaking), but I am very encouraged by all of the conservatives finally coming out of the woodwork! :)

Newt should have stuck with teaching. I’ll just leave it at that.

Well I’m not 100% behind this one however Newt is NOT my man and I suppose the Benedict Arnold’s are always less popular than the Hessians.

On another note I made it by BZ’s place and dropped my two cents worth-thanks for the tip!

Wow! A real underdog won this week, I didn’t see this coming. I agree with hoosierarmymom, I lost allot of respect for Newt when he did those global warming commercials with Nancy Pelosi.

capitalisa, there are quite a few conservatives in NY State but their voices are drowned out by the liberals and entitlement generation in the big cities like NY City, Buffalo, Albany, etc. It’s just like that here in Missouri where Kansas City and St. Louis are liberal havens.
