DALLAS (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ― A longtime FBI agent warns the City of Dallas could be a top target for a terrorist attack and North Texas law enforcement needs to be prepared.
A federal report on terrorism – to be released Thursday - predicts a nuclear or biological attack within the U.S. sometime over the next five years.
Danny Defenbaugh, the former Dallas FBI director, says North Texas needs to take the report seriously because there is reason to believe the area could be a prime target.
Defenbaugh has been operating a private security consulting firm since retiring. He says terrorists might choose North Texas for an attack for multiple reasons.

Danny Defenbaugh is one smart guy. I have been paying attention to what he says for a long time. Danny has been on quite a few local AM Radio talk programs and I have always found that his assessments are right on the mark!
For one reason, Exxon-Mobil’s headquarters is based in Irving.
Another reason is because President Bush will reside in Dallas when he leaves office, and his library will be built at SMU.
Danny Defenbaugh, being a public figure and a retired FBI agent, is given to being a bit PC. He has to be, his livelihood depends on it and I understand that. I, on the other hand, don’t give a damn if I insult or offend Muslims and their supporters here in America, no matter who those supporters may be.
Defenbaugh told KRLD radio that “anytime you have a former president or you have the former president’s library that’s going to be established, I think that always adds to another vulnerability or another risk that has to be assessed as far as a target.”
In MY opinion, one of the reasons the D/FW area is on the Islamic terrorists radar is this, and it has nothing to do with Exxon-Mobil, the Bush Library or retired POTUS George W. Bush. It has everything to do with Islam being the sworn enemy of ALL things American!
Submit or DIE is a pretty strong statement, it just happens that D/FW has a lot of soft targets of opportunity that the radicals of Islam would love to destroy. Yes, Exxon-Mobil headquarters may well be a prize, but Irving, Texas has a target that the radicals would love to destroy even more, the new Cowboy’s Stadium. Jerry World!
I have long avoided ANY huge gathering in a place like Cowboys Stadium, Texas Stadium or any other huge public venue. I feel they make marvelous targets, and during an event, well, think of this, Cowboys Stadium can seat over 80,000 people, in an enclosed stadium.
You don’t have to blow the place up, just release Sarin or Anthrax. The stadium itself becomes the weapon and terrorist the world over know this.
When radical Islamic attackers brought down the World Trade Centers, they struck a blow for Islam by destroying the symbol, and all things considered, as bad as the attacks of 9-11 were, it could have been much worse.
He also praised the North Texas joint terrorism task force and said it has a good history of intercepting threats.
As do I, but here’s the facts, IF a terrorist is 100% intent on committing his act of terror, and if that terrorist is willing to sacrifice his life in doing so, all of of the anti-terror efforts in the world won’t be enough to stop ALL of them!
Just a word to the wise, never let your guard down, and while I’m thinking of it, maybe the idea of rounding up and deporting ALL the Muslims and ILLEGALS in America isn’t such a bad idea after all. Just sayin’.

It looked to me, when I read a couple of weeks ago,
that the mooslim shitsaphrenics numbered 22,000 at a rally
there in Dallas, that the city dads had a problem on their hands just beginning. Keep your powder dry my friend and wait for the call to arms.
Dallas is a symbol of what America is. One of the things that made it such was the TV program “Dallas”. I was stationed in England in 1980 and people there actually believed that Americans lived like the Ewing family. Just last night I was watching O’Rielly and a guest talked of how copies of “Dallas” were smuggled into the Soviet Union and people there saw that Americans live a lavish lifestyle and they wanted it too and began to complain to their government officials, thus creating descent. New York City represents the financial wealth of America but Dallas represents the freedom and strength of its people. I could see how Dallas would be a prime target for those who hate America.
Round’em up and deport them to DC. which brings to mind about the 5 radicals caught in Pakistan that were from Washington DC. IF….. they were from there, and were going to Pakistan for training……then coming back to the US…..

Moozlims target large gatherings to kill. That is their primary protocol. The higher the concentration of people the better. They could care less about infrastructure.
There is no such thing as a moderate moozlim. As far as I’m concerned every one of them should be kicked off the north American continent. Put ‘em on a boat to Mecca or wherever rags gather. One way ticket…no return.

Target one of the most watched and biggest events in the USA….Super Bowl…and it’s up coming event at Cowboy Stadium…..where I’m sure they will sell another record amount of tickets. The crowd will be over 100,000…all packed into one nice target….and you can bet GWB will be there too.

I have thought for sometime that by not enforcing the borders, our gooberment is putting border states at risk for attack… making it easy to get the items needed to make a dirty bomb or weapon of that nature. Attacking a city like Dalllas/FW would have the effect of attacking American morale right in the heart! That’s what the muzzie pigs like to do. I agree with each and every one of you. They should not be allowed to occupy our free soil, let alone build their mosques (terrorist training facilities) here. Somehow, the fact that being a free nation doesn’t mean we lay down and play victim to evil, seems to have escaped our libturd leaders. A terrorist with the dedication an willingless to give up his own life could carry out a successful attack. Such a person could easily kill an important politician as well as blow up thousands of innocents. There was a movie a few years back with Charleston Heston “Two Minute Warning” about just such an attempt at a football stadium. I sees now that we have to worry about the home grown jihadist just as much as those coming in illegally. Our defense against this type of attack is always on-going, and so far 100 percent effective in stopping one.

There aren’t any briefcase sized tactical nuclear devices….and a suitcase size isn’t likely or practical as well….it would be a bit obvious if it took two people to carry one suitcase….and why would you need one at the SuperBowl?…a suitcase that is………dirty bombs really don’t present much a threat from the radiological side….the bomb would be the bad part….any isotope scattered by a bomb wouldn’t really be too effective…again the bomb part is the threat….any contaminants could readily be cleaned up by teams that already exist….and anyone contaminated could also be treated but would not likely suffer from radiation…..
