DES MOINES, Iowa — A billboard created by an Iowa tea party group comparing President Barack Obama to Adolf Hitler and Vladimir Lenin is being condemned by other tea party activists.
The North Iowa Tea Party began displaying the sign in Mason City last week.
The sign includes photos of Obama, Nazi leader Hitler and communist leader Lenin with the statement: “Radical leaders prey on the fearful & naive.”
North Iowa Tea Party co-founder Bob Johnson says the sign highlights what the group argues is Obama’s support for socialism. He says the pictures might be overwhelming the intended message.
Shelby Blakely, a spokeswoman for the national Tea Party Patriots, says the sign isn’t appropriate. She says her group opposes any comparisons of Obama to Hitler or Lenin.
The White House declined to comment.

Out of place? Inappropriate? Condemned by other TEA Party groups? You decide.
Now I don’t know about YOU, I don’t know about the fearful and timid among us, but I am thinking it’s about damned time someone in the TEA Party showed the world that they *have a set*, if you know what I mean!
These folks are saying exactly what so many of us have been saying on our blogs. We have been hanging it ALL out there, putting our reputations, and quite possibly, our very freedom at risk given the socialistic tendencies of the Obama regime!
I am NOT a politically correct blogger. I am not kind to those that I feel are trying their level best to destroy this nation. I have made NO secret out of my feelings regarding Barack Hussein Obama and his quest to destroy this nation.
Our founding fathers risked everything they had in their efforts to free the Colonies from the grip of a tyrannical King and the incredible taxes that were being levied upon the Colonists.
Our soldiers have fought to keep this land free — free from the likes of Lenin, Stalin, Hitler and many other 2-bit dictators. Our military and police take an oath to defend this nation from ALL enemies, foreign AND domestic.
Maybe it’s time that the TEA Party stands up and draws a line in the sand!

Barack Hussein Obama is a socialist, that is the truth, if the TRUTH hurts, if telling the truth, if putting the truth out there for the whole world to see is wrong or inappropriate, then maybe there are some in the TEA Party that need to rethink their reasons for being in a grassroots movement that is determined to change America!
I’d wear it on a shirt. Unfortunately the Tea party seems to be between a rock and a hard place. The MSM has called them racists since the beginning, and every time momentum picks up and democrats feel the heat, they cry RACIST!
I think ALL Obama supporters are Racists or Traitors. They can not be AMERICANS and still support the policies of this president. The only people that still support this clown are doing so either because they only see a black man as president or they are hell bent on destroying the nation and turning it into Kenya west.

I agree with Fred. What many seem to be missing here, is the fact that MaObama’s thugs, the SEIU failed to discredit the Tea Party. They ended up attacking a disabled black man selling Tea Party buttons in Missouri, and biting off the finger of an old man at another Tea Party. The state run news media of course were busy running stories that were blatantly false. Now our InJustice Department has determined that they will not prosecute a black man if he is obstructing and abusing a white voter at a polling place! The MaObama administration is being blatantly racist and promoting a race war from what I’m seeing! Now the NAACP is stepping up and declaring all Tea Parties “racist”. We are just seeing one wave of reverse racism after another. But what do I know, I’m just a “typical white woman” who’s hopping mad!

I think the Tea Parties shunning this sign, in this case are doing exactly what got us into this mess in the first place… caving into political correctness. After all, there is truth in it! On the first Tax Day Tea Party, Ft. Wayne decided to have theirs on Saturday so I went up there. I got to hear the keynote speaker, Alan Keyes, and it was fabulous. That man knows his Constitution and gives a righteous rant against the “Regime”. Alan Keyes is a black man… but the Tea Party is racist???

I watched a program on the History Channel the other day about Hitler. He started his power play when the country was in bad economic trouble. As time went on…people began to question his family tree…so he had someone of great importance in working on this kind of thing to do a fraudulent family tree to make Hitler look good….but questions still came up…then when he became Chancellor he had all his birth records sealed so no one could discover he wasn’t what he said he was.
Now I ask you….does all this sound a little ( a lot ) simular to what our leader is doing ?????? There are a lot more common actions taken by both men. Although I believe one of these nuts actually thought he was helping his country…not bent on distroying it.
The comparison is accurate. Both with the men and in certain ways with the events and economy that led to Hitler’s and Obama’s rise to power.

HAM, you may have seen the pictures of armed black men at Tea Party rallies. These were Tea Party members who armed themselves after that man was beaten in St. Louis and other Black Tea Party members were threatened. You’ll notice the NAACP doesn’t condemn the threats against Black Conservatives?

Using false SSN’s and falsifying the I-9 are felonies. If Illegals were charged and convicted of these felonies, they would be denied citizenship and even if made citizens, the still wouldn’t be able to vote and therefore would be of no used to Obama and his Democrats. Illegals who obtain work fraudulently need to be prosecuted before they’re deported. We need their pictures and fingerprints on file for future use.
