Guess we must respectfully disagree. Not sure who I will support, but we shall see what the lineup is. I do not care for the whoring comment-not necessary-you made your point without that. I thought you severly chastised someone for being a bad actor on your site. No need for the vulgar insults to make your point.

I agree, there are are too many from every political front that don’t feel good about her for a POTUS. Too much controversy wells up in regard to Palin. We need someone who can win in order to stop the march toward our destruction. Palin isn’t that person.

What HAS Sarah Palin done so far??

Defended Dr. Laura’s use of N*gger (13x) as a 1st ammendment issue, but wanted Rahm Emmanuel to resign because he used the word ‘retarded’.

Dick — Uh, or should I say Richard?? The words whore and whoring are NOT vulgar… They are an everyday part of the English language, and if me calling Palin an attention whore bothers you, the next couple of years are going to keep you in an uproar…

I support you on most views but you are off on this. Sarah Palin is strongly supported by many members of the Republican Party and for you as a Tea Party activist to denounce her is the beginning of the decline of the Republican Party for 2012. If you succeed in turning the Tea party against Sarah you might as well vote for Obama as that will be the end result. I am apaled that any one from the Tea Party would start a blog like this and damage the chances this country has of getting a Republican President. Unless I see a retraction please remove my name from your email.

Mr. Ashwander, NOWHERE in this post did I mention the TEA Party, or MY association with it in ANY way.. You Sir, can GO TO HELL!

If your desire is to see a Republican President, then YOU are as much a part of the problem as you accuse me of being… When we have a Conservative, NOT a Republican, or Dem, or Libertarian, but a true America 1st Conservative, then we have a GREAT POTUS…

Palin can’t spell Conservative, but she pretends to BE one…

If I weren’t trying to restrain myself, I would tell you to f**k off, but since I’m trying to be semi-civil with you and your DEMAND that I retract my post, thus depriving me of MY 1st Amendment RIGHT, I won’t tell you to f**k off…

The day YOU start paying MY bills, the day I post this on a TEA Party site, the day I lose my capacity to post MY way on MY blog, then you can tell me what to do, until such time, F**K OFF…

    Oops…

Who is our best and most likely candidate? We need someone who will first, beat obama and win, and second, actually be a good president. I would rather see Palin take it and be a lousy president than see obama win. But, as Fred points out, Palin running may allow obama to win…and that would suck.

So far, I like Chris Christie, or someone like him and with his no nonsense attitude. He has stated he does not want to run for president. Maybe that is why he would be a good choice though. His modest approach may work in his favor. After all, don’t we always want what we can’t have?

That being said, who’s our next hopeful? Who can save America and not turn out to be a damn RINO or a reach across the aisle jerk? I want a president who makes it known that he is not going to play nice with the libs/progressives. Kinda like how Boehner stated very matter of factly, he will make it his mission to dismantle obamacare, no matter what it takes. Does Boehner have eyes on the oval office?

We need someone we can believe in and so far, the GOP offerings I see now just don’t do it.

    Bobby Jindal
    Mike Pence
    Michelle Bachmann

My 6 year old grandson, anyone in the GOP is, for the most part, is going to do a better job than Obama, but I am NOT at ALL convinced that Palin would be any better than Obama, and could be, quite possibly be, an even bigger disaster…

I am sure there are several more in the GOP that can beat Obama. Palin guarantees him a win, or a win for Hillary if she ran against Obama for the Dem nomination and won…

And the thought of another Clinton in the White House makes me sick!

P.S. Boehner?? Might be looking at it, and he wouldn’t be a bad POTUS I believe.. I’d damned sure vote for him over Palin…

This is hilarious, I had a guy making comments on here that were SO vulgar, I was embarrassed…

I used the words WHORE and WHORING, and used them in relation to Saint Sarah Palin and her love affair with the camera and media, and I am a BAD person. I am defriended on Facebook. I have people email me, telling me to take them OFF of my email list. I have people DEMANDING that I retract a story because I dare to speak against Sarah Palin…

I love it… Last election, in ’08, I posted stuff like this about Ron Paul in an effort to root out the Paulies, and it worked too…

    Guess what?? It worked again…

You thin the herd your way, I’ll thin the herd MY way…

    How ’bout me?

    Who been in the kitchen
    Who been in the hall
    Hooben in the White House
    Fight’n for us all

…at least the slogan sounds good

    Norm

ps: believe it or not, I’ve been asked to run by all of four people…hey, lets start a write-in campaign

  12. comment number 12 by: TexasFred

WhoBeen — You’d never make it, you’re too truthful, and brother, there’s some of these Palinites that just can’t handle the truth… :?

A lot like the Debra Medina moonbats a while back. Medina had her public meltdown, Palin will have hers too I am guessing…

  13. comment number 13 by: WhoBeen

ps: I could never get elected for there’s not a politician out there that would agree with me…the first thing I would want to cut, is all federally elected officials retirement benefits including former presidents…why should they get rewarded for failure?

  14. comment number 14 by: TexasFred

These Palinites need to look at LOST, not the TV show, LOST — Law Of The Sea Treaty… Palin is a supporter…

    http://globalsolutions.org/files/general/Palin_LOS_Letter.pdf

    http://www.usasurvival.org/ck01.28.09.html

This is all the reason many need, if the Palinites want to support her, so be it, but I won’t, and I will use this blog to stop her in ANY WAY I can… The truth should works, you would think, but Palin has ROCK STAR status, so, her fans don’t give a damn about the truth, they just want Palin to run, even if it does give Obama the White House for another 4 years…

  15. comment number 15 by: WhoBeen

Just checked my files and that’s the same document that I have…of course most people who know me, know me as very anti Law of the Sea Treaty…I’ve also mentioned it right here in some of the previous comments sections on Texas Fred’s blog…for the last four years I’ve talked about it on the radio…LOST is definitely bad for the USA and Palin has not studied the document as I and others have. When the Blue Berets arrive you can kiss your red, white, and blue goodbye!

  16. comment number 16 by: Steve Dennis

Tell us how you really feel! :)
I agree with you, if she is the nominee of the Republican party Barack Obama will be re-elected. We have to have a better candidate make the cut or we will be losers once again.

  17. comment number 17 by: Robert

WOW… You truly have your hate palin shirt on today brudda…

Personally I like her. I like her 2nd amendment stances, I like the way she handles herself against the onslaught of media. Do I think she should be POTUS? Um NO. But I’m concerned that we conservatives are already starting to eat our own. I suggest we at least let this new HOUSE majority that Palin had a large part of give it a go. IF it goes back to business as usual then Palin becomes nothing special. IF the house does as it says it will do, then we can worry about Palin for POTUS.

We all have our opinions, and for now I’ll keep an eye open for RINOism from those in elected office. Palin is a cheerleader now and she doesn’t cast a vote for anything.

  18. comment number 18 by: TexasFred

Rob — These guys that *Palin got elected*? Are you serious?? She did a somewhat good job of handicapping… Just like you on the NFL every weekend…

Her House picks were pretty good, her Senate picks totally freaking SUCKED… As I said before, if being a handicapper could get it done, Jimmy the Greek should have been POTUS…

And Rob, you miss the point entirely, yes, she IS a cheerleader, and SHE influences votes EVERYWHERE, read the comments from some right here… She isn’t the voter, she is THE VOTE, and blind loyalists are lining up everywhere, ready to follow her off the cliff… That b*tch is taking America for a ride, and the time to stop her is NOW…

Otherwise, you better get ready to call Obama SIR… He’ll beat her ass like he beat her and McCain, even the Dems that are turned against him will line back up if Palin is the GOP candidate in 2012…

    WAKE UP AMERICA!

  19. comment number 19 by: minuteman26

John Bolton for POTUS. He will kick ass and take names.

  20. comment number 20 by: TexasFred

minuteman26 — He should be the number 1 contender right now… With these politicians, Chris Christie, Allen West, Bobby Jindal, Mike Pence, Michelle Bachmann, in consideration for VP…

    Excellent pick MM26…

  21. comment number 21 by: TexasFred

There’s going to be a lot of TEA Party people that are completely taken aback when the new House is seated and they find out that the new guys are falling into line with the GOP and earmarks, as well as every other gratification that DC offers, monetary or otherwise…

  22. comment number 22 by: Patrick Sperry

Sarah Palin is a quitter. That’s enough for me not to support her, and she supports LOST? Folks have got to be kidding!

  23. comment number 23 by: TexasFred

Patrick — I, like you, would think that the quitting and LOST BS would be enough, but for the Palinites, their ROCK STAR is infallible…

  24. comment number 24 by: ASM826

I am hoping for a real candidate, one that I believe in and think will do right by the country. I don’t think that’s Sarah Palin, but Fred, really, do you think pulling the lever to re-elect the current duo is something to consider?

We don’t need a Republican like G. Bush, either. He signed the Patriot Act and started the bailouts. We need a true conservative, with the courage to lead. But whoever the opposing candidate is, I’ll go vote against Obama/Biden.

  25. comment number 25 by: TexasFred

Fred, really, do you think pulling the lever to re-elect the current duo is something to consider?

NO, I do not… I didn’t vote for Obama the 1st time, and I won’t vote for him the next time if he’s there, that was NEVER said anywhere in this long thread and comments…

I didn’t vote for McCain and Barbie the last time either, I refuse to vote for the lesser of the evils… I voted Libertarian, and yeah, they lost, and before ANYONE says it, NO, the 3rd party vote did NOT cost McCain the White House, ALL 3rd party votes put together and given to McCain still would not have won the race…

That said, IF Palin runs in 2012, in ANY capacity, I will vote Libertarian, Independent, whatever, if Palin is the best this nation has to offer, we are screwed from the start…

  26. comment number 26 by: Malinda777

I don’t support her either as my first choice (LIKE GEEZZEESS - WE ALREADY HAVE TO BE THINKING ABOUT THIS)…LOL…but we do….

However, as I did in the last election - I voted for McCain - couldn’t stand him either - BUT ANYBODY BUT OBAMA!!!…or Hillary…

I’ve actually met Sarah, and various members of her family. She’s certainly NOT my first choice - but we could do worse….I’d vote for her over an uber progressive socialist any day… Hopefully - it won’t come to that…

  27. comment number 27 by: Malinda777

BTW - in my involvement with GOP in my state - I HAVE STATED CLEARLY AND UNEQUIVOCALLY that I think the biggest problem with the GOP is that we seem to run an entire football team full of folks each time there is an election!

Many could do a good job - but CONSERVATIVES - need to pick one or two and roll with it - Sarah is a great gal - but she wouldn’t make the one or two - not at this time…

  28. comment number 28 by: MissBeth

When she first burst onto the scene I liked her, but that admiration has waned significantly-and by one simple action on her part. That action? Sticking close to McCain. That alone speaks volumes.

I don’t froth rabidly at the mouth with hate as some people do (not necessarily here, but in general), but I DO think she’s way too polarizing to win back the WH if she’s running.

One name I’m not seeing but think he bears watching is Herman Cain-black, conservative, former CEO of CocaCola
(run a business), older, not wet behind the ears, highly articulate, definitely outspoken.

I think a ticket of him and Alan West has the potential to wipe the Obama floor with Obama. And the potential to shut these people up who insist on calling conservatives racists.

  29. comment number 29 by: Malinda777

    Miss Beth:

Ya know - I like that Herman Cain too - I’ve heard him several times for an hour or so when he does Hannity sometimes in his stead…

However - the DAMN THING about politics is what WE want - mixed with WHO CAN WIN… Until the folks rise up and MAKE GOOD and normal folk WIN - the RNC - DNC - no matter - we’re a long way away… I keep fighting though too - I like Herman - but he can’t win- but I’d vote for him :)
