C.I.A. Held al-Qaeda Leader in Secret Jail for Months
April 28th, 2007 . by TexasFredWASHINGTON, April 27 ? The Central Intelligence Agency held a captured Qaeda leader in a secret prison since last fall and transferred him last week to the American military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, officials said Friday.
Abd al-Hadi al-Iraqi, an Iraqi Kurd who is said to have joined Al Qaeda in the late 1990s and ascended to become a top aide to Osama bin Laden, is the first terrorism suspect known to have been held in secret C.I.A. jails since President Bush announced the transfer of 14 captives to Guantanamo Bay last September.
I have no idea WHY the MSM and every human rights group all over the world have a problem with the CIA having ’secret’ jails or prisons, their existence, and use, is something I take no issue with and I applaud Mr. Bush for allowing them to exist, in fact, I would encourage him to use them more in the future and also consider telling the ‘human rights’ nut-jobs to pound sand, these guys are enemies of our nation, they want to kill us, not just our troops on a field of battle, they want to kill us, you and me, and our friends and families, in horrendous acts of terror right here on American soil, their so-called rights should be less than nothing…
Mr. Iraqi’s case suggests that the C.I.A. may have adopted a new model for handling prisoners held secretly ? a practice that Mr. Bush said could resume and that Congress permitted when it passed the Military Commissions Act of 2006.
Well, as Mr. Bush has said himself, there’s gotta be a change in the way things are done, and we have got to allow our Intel services the opportunity to conduct their jobs in an efficient manner, one that will allow them to harvest viable information from those they detain…
Last fall, Mr. Bush declared the agency’s interrogations “one of the most successful intelligence efforts in American history.? But its secret detention of terrorism suspects has been widely criticized by human rights organizations and foreign governments as a violation of international law that relied on interrogation methods verging on torture.
My suggestion to all concerned would be to keep the operation a secret, keep it out of the MSM and plug the leak with the bloody remains of whoever it is leaking to the MSM, unless of course the leaks are intended and are serving a purpose…
And that is a distinct possibility…

It is amazing what one will tell you when you stand them in front of a tree-limb chipper.
But be apprised that some of the intel coming forth may not have any value.

That’s why there are folks called ‘Intel analysts’…
Right on, Fred. What part of the word WAR do they no understand?
That’s 2 months and 29 days to long. If I can’t get someone to tell me all they know in 24 hours, they don’t know anything worth knowing.
