I agree that the US has lost some of its standing with the rest of the world. I say this is because we do not have sound leadership from the POTUS on down and the Dem’s are only offering more of the same, they just change the packaging. (Bullshit is still bullshit even if its wrapped in roses)
Real leadership means telling it like it really is and not how people would like it to be. And I mean, ‘REALLY TELLING IT LIKE IT IS’! No sugar coating, no apologizing, and no compromise. And then doing something about ‘real’ problems besides talking them to death. (A comprise just pisses off all concerned while having it your way at least pleases some of the people)
In addition real leadership shows up in the people you appoint/surround yourself with. If you appoint/surround yourself with ass kissers and boot licker’s you’re perceived as being the leader of those types of people.
IMO, we haven’t had a real leader in this nation since the days of Ike and I don’t see that changing. BTW, this isn’t purely an American problem as the whole world suffers from the same aliment.

Thats the best post I have read in a while. I couldn’t agree more. We have played games in Iraq and now we are getting backed into a corner. I have been saying this for awhile, it is either we go balls to the wall or accept our fate which will be ugly. At the current pace we are in a lose/lose senario. If we had fought WWII with politicans and committees like this war we would be goose-stepping and eating sauerkraut.
We will lose the worlds respect if they lose their fear of us. Right now with our pissing and moaning Democrats and the left wing are insuring we will lose face. We need to return back to our Conservative principles and do this job the right way If not I am follwoing Ranando’s lead. Costa Rica here I come.
