May 1st, 2007 . by TexasFredLOS ANGELES (AP) - Demonstrators demanding a path to citizenship for an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants hope that nationwide marches on Tuesday will spur Congress to act before the looming presidential primaries take over the political landscape.
My hope is that we’ll have some solid Conservatives come out against the illegals, and I mean really hard against them, the illegals aren’t going to become Repubs OR Conservatives if they get citizenship so what does it matter?? They likely won’t vote any way, go after the illegals and doing the right thing in Iraq and you’re real close to the Oval Office…
Marches, meetings and voter registration drives were planned from California to New York, a year after 1 million flexed their economic muscle in a nationwide boycott during last year’s May 1 activities.
Though this year’s turnout likely will be lower, organizers say immigrants feel a sense of urgency to keep immigration reform from getting pushed to the back burner by the 2008 presidential elections.
OK, since it seems that the MSM already knows the marches are going to be smaller it might be possible that our own people know the same thing, seems like a really good time to round up several hundred thousand illegals, no chasing involved, surround the areas of protest and move in…

Melissa Woo, a 22-year-old American citizen who immigrated from South Korea, carried a Korean flag over her shoulder as she criticized politicians for “buckling at the knees.”
“Us immigrants aren’t pieces of trash, we’re human beings,” she said. “To be treated as less than human is a travesty.”
If you are a LEGAL immigrant, I can agree with you, but at this point in time, as far as I am concerned, they are nothing but invaders of MY nation, and if I were in charge of this thing, they would be rounded up and shot dead, and just for the record, lose the damned Korean flag if you claim to be an American, you can’t be BOTH, make a choice and declare your loyalty, if it’s NOT to the USA, tote your ass back to Korea and stay there…

Couldn’t agree more, it reminds me of the past elections in Mexico where a whole damn bunch went back there to vote. Why in the Hell did we not mass troops and border patrol along the borders then so they’d have one Hell of a time trying to get back in? Here’s yet another fine opportunity to arrest and deport a few…
I don’t give a crap about busting up families. As Tom Tancredo would point out, send the kids, the whole family back american or not. When they become an adult then come on back, but you’re going with mom and/or pop back to Mexico.
I have no problems with ‘legal’ immigrants, but these people for the most part want a free pass or amnesty. The majority don’t have a desire to be real Americans. And IMO you do have to nationalize yourself to this country. One Flag, one language, one history, one people. Or get your asses out of here.

Heard a news story on the radio about a woman recently holding up in a church to avoid deportation for being here illegally. The report added it appears the NO borders crowd is considering reviving the old use the church as a safe haven strategy to keep illegals from being deported.
Another story of 18 year+ illegals with American born children being deported. They would not take the kids with them as they felt being in Mexico was not in their best interest. The report continued with an abundance of expressed sympathy with the tears of the children, etc. The only redeeming quality of the news item was at the end when a woman whose identity I did not hear explained that yes, it is a sad circumstance but the parents brought this on their family, not the US. and she continued to make good points.
On the flip side, providing the story is accurate, I have sympathy for the South Korean immigrants, legal ones, who have been sued by a bizarre Admin. Law Judge named Pierce for failure to meet his expectations of their dry cleaning business. Apparently they ruined a pair of suit pants and the fine judge is suing them for 67 million and the suit has gone on for two years. They are considering moving back to South Korea. Something is fishy here.
The lack of *ANY* type of enforcement or meaningful action by our government (local or federal) is making me believe that those in charge actually desire open borders and chaos in our country.
Goodbye sweet and lovely USA, it’s time to join the ranks of the third world countries. Embrace the graffiti. Embrace the stabbings and drugs and filth and trash. Why should we expect them to hold our values close to their hearts? We should embrace their love of filth and crime. It lowers the standards and expectations of our politicians and makes the masses easier to manipulate. Lowest common denominator is king.

You are absolutely correct, when my grandfather came to the USA from Canada he went thru it, albeit nearly 90 years ago, but he took the path to LEGAL residency and if these coming in today don’t want to, ENFORCE our laws…
