Gunman sprays DC crowd, killing 4 and wounding 5

WASHINGTON – A gunman sprayed bullets from a moving vehicle into a crowd in southeastern Washington, killing four and wounding at least five others, before leading police on a chase into neighboring Maryland.

Three people were arrested in the drive-by shooting Tuesday. The D.C. councilman who represents the area said a dispute between groups in the neighborhood apparently caused the shooting.

Six men and three women were hit by the gunfire around 7:30 p.m., said D.C. Police Department spokesman Officer Hugh Carew. Fire Department spokesman Pete Piringer says all were in their 20s and 30s, except for one teenager.

By late Tuesday, one victim had died at the scene, a second was pronounced dead at the hospital and the third died in the operating room, hospital officials said. Police spokeswoman Gwendolyn Crump said early the next day that the fourth victim had died.

Washington, D.C. Our nations Capitol. The most restrictive gun laws in America.

I have to wonder, did the shooter buy that gun legally? Was he licensed to own that gun? To have that gun at all? Was he a prior felon? If so, he had NO right, legal or otherwise, to be in the possession of a gun, of ANY kind.

You know that the anti-gun cabal is going to scream bloody murder. They are going to pound on their chests and DEMAND by God that ALL these evil guns be taken out of the hands of legal owners. Kinda funny how they invoke the name of God when it convenient huh?

There’s just one problem with that premise, LEGAL, sane, normal, average, every day, run of the mill American gun owners don’t DO stuff like this. These are the acts of GANGS. Drug gangs, ethnic gangs, territorial gangs, criminal elements that the anti-gun crowd uses in an effort to pass laws that will remove guns from the hands of ALL Americans.

We don’t need MORE laws people, we need more, and better LAW ENFORCEMENT! Our police officers are, for the most part, OK with citizens being armed, home owners, business owners and the like. We’re not, in the vast majority of all gun violence committed, the ones out there committing these heinous acts! But our lawmakers want to punish ALL of us, take away ALL guns, in an effort to stop the violence.

It’s NOT going to work that way, and here’s why. IF the government passed laws requiring all gun owners to turn in ALL guns, do you believe that the majority of gun owners would willingly do so?

Now, let me pose this question. If LEGAL gun owners did comply, if they actually turned in their guns, how many of the criminal element among us would willingly turn in their guns? The BAD GUYS would have a field day preying upon unarmed and defenseless Americans!

This is a fact, 99.9% of ALL legal guns owners will NOT commit a gun crime and will NOT use a gun in the commission of a crime. We, legal gun owners, are NOT the issue, but the libbers would have you believe that the streets flow red with blood because there are folks like me that own guns. They are of course, DEAD WRONG. Pun intended.

5. We must get rid of guns because a deranged lunatic may go on a shooting spree at any time and anyone who would own a gun out of fear of such a lunatic is paranoid.

6. The more helpless you are the safer you are from criminals.

7. An intruder will be incapacitated by tear gas or oven spray, but if shot with a .357 Magnum will get angry and kill you.

I keep wondering when the world is going to begin to take Islamic terrorism seriously.

The world’s leaders and, in particular, the media could begin by calling it “Islamic�? or “Muslim�? terrorism. The media were, of course, thrilled to discover that America had a small band of homegrown nut cases, a Christian militia arrested before they did some serious harm. That’s the kind of thing that happens when the president and the government begins to be regarded as the anti-Christ.

I liked Vladimir Putin’s response to the Moscow bombings. He said of those responsible, “We will destroy them.�?

The suicide bombers in Moscow will no doubt be identified—there was video of their entering the station—and an efficient national security apparatus will find out who they are, who their family is, who their friends are, and invite them in for some interrogation. They are not likely to be read Miranda rights, nor will their lawyers be present.

The reason for this is that they are potentially all terrorists.
America has been devoted to treating the terrorists we captured on the battlefields of Afghanistan and Iraq as humanely as possible. Those incarcerated at Guantanamo were given copies of the Koran, their dietary laws were observed, ACLU and other lawyers were permitted access to advise them of their “rights.�? Under the Geneva Convention, however, they are exempt from the rules of war and have no rights as combatants.

The Attorney General of the United States of America, a former resident of La-La Land, didn’t think it was the least bit odd to suggest trying Khalid Sheik Muhammad, the 9/11 mastermind, in a civil court in the heart of New York City.

Any number of the Gitmo detainees have been returned to their homelands and have since turned up on the battlefield again. This suggests we do not take terrorists seriously. These are, after all, people who cut the heads off of other people.

Meanwhile, the Department of Homeland Security has an odd notion of who poses a threat to the nation. They identified “right-wing extremists�? as their primary concern, particularly those who express concern about the central government’s expansion, opponents of abortion, opponents of illegal immigration, and “disgruntled�? veterans returning from the battlefront. No mention of left-wing extremists.

The first rule of war is “know your enemy.�? In the space of a decade, they have shown up in New York, London, Madrid, Bali, Mumbai, and in Moscow; all killing civilians indiscriminately on buses, on trains, in subways, in skyscrapers, and at resorts. Before that, they devoted themselves to kidnapping Americans in Lebanon and blowing up two of our embassies in Africa.

From the streets of Paris where Muslims rioted at will to Malmo, Sweden where attacks on local Jews are driving them to leave the country, the story is always the same. Wherever Muslims become a sufficient number of the population, they begin to make demands, harass the locals, and in the Netherlands to murder an outspoken opponent of Islam in broad daylight. The Dutch response has been to put on trial a man who is warning of these dangers.

The British cannot accommodate them enough, while the French have decided it is far better to be French than Muslim, passing several laws to protect their cultural traditions and society.

The impact on Americans has mostly been to turn a trip to the airport into a complete nightmare, but few other restrictions have interfered with their normal activities. Despite valiant efforts by our border patrol, our southern border goes largely unprotected. The insane murder rate from the drug wars in Mexico will arrive any day now in the U.S.A.

The small U.S. Muslim population has been free of harassment, but the organizations claiming to speak for them have all been identified as having links to the Muslim Brotherhood and related jihadist organizations.

Who takes the jihadists, the terrorists seriously? Saudi Arabia where they just rounded up a large ring of al Qaeda conspirators, Pakistan where they have finally begun to hammer the jihadis in Waziristan and other frontier provinces, and just about every nation with a Muslim majority.

9 militia members charged in police-killing plot

DETROIT (AP) - Nine suspects tied to a Midwest Christian militia that was preparing for the Antichrist were charged with conspiring to kill police officers, then attack a funeral using homemade bombs in the hopes of killing more law enforcement personnel, federal prosecutors said Monday.

The Michigan-based group, called Hutaree, planned to use the attack on police as a catalyst for a larger uprising against the government, according to newly unsealed court papers. U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade said agents moved on the group because its members were planning a violent reconnaissance mission sometime in April.

Members of the group, including its leader, David Brian Stone, also known as “Captain Hutaree,” were charged following FBI raids over the weekend on locations in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana.

The idea of attacking a police funeral was one of numerous scenarios discussed as ways to go after law enforcement officers, the indictment said. Other scenarios included a fake 911 call to lure an officer to his or her death, or an attack on the family of a police officer.

The American Taliban has reared it’s ugly head! We hear about the enemy within, that would be these people, the Hutaree, and their followers!

I have had emails today telling me how the militias are being preyed upon by the FBI, how this is the start of the insurrection that will provide the spark that starts the fires of open revolution that so many of these ultra-far right groups seek to strike.

I have received email today from someone I thought was a level-headed Conservative telling me that he would stand with these Hutaree people!

Anyone that reads here knows that I am a serious supporter of Law Enforcement officers in the U.S. What I am about to say next may anger some, but that’s the chance you take for telling the truth and stating your opinions.

These people, these Hutaree, and ANY like them, are NOT Christians, no more than Fred Phelps and his bunch of loons! These people are not patriots, they are CRAZIES, they are FAR RIGHT moonbats and they bear NO significance in the overall plans or actions of TRUE Conservatives and/or the TEA Party movement!

Someone from a TEA Party has to have the BALLS to stand up and say it!

After such attacks, the group allegedly planned to retreat to “rally points” protected by trip-wired improvised explosive devices, or IEDs, for what they expected would become a violent standoff with law enforcement personnel.

“It is believed by the Hutaree that this engagement would then serve as a catalyst for a more wide-spread uprising against the government,” the indictment charges.

Tactics right out of the Taliban playbook!

According to investigators, the Hutaree view local, state, and federal law enforcement personnel as a “brotherhood” and an enemy, and planned to attack them as part of an armed struggle against the U.S. government.

Law enforcement IS a brotherhood. But officers are NOT the enemy, not of this group, the Hutaree, not of any group of people that stand lawfully in this United States.

The indictment charges members of the group conspired “to levy war against the United States, (and) to oppose by force the authority of the government of the United States.”

I’m not going to blow smoke up your skirt, there seriously IS a strong possibility that revolution is brewing in the USA.

We are rapidly becoming a socialist dictatorship. We are having the will of the POTUS forced upon us, even though the majority of Americans don’t want any part of his socialistic meddlings.

We are suffering an oppressive government that is out of control.
