Obama Outlines National Security Strategy

11:03 a.m. Updated WEST POINT, N.Y. – President Obama outlined a new national security strategy rooted in diplomatic engagement and international alliances on Saturday as he repudiated his predecessor’s emphasis on unilateral American power and the right to wage preemptive war.

Eight years after President George W. Bush came to the United States Military Academy to set a new course for American security in the aftermath of the Sept. 11 attacks, Mr. Obama used the same setting to offer a revised doctrine, one that vowed no retreat against American enemies while seeking “national renewal and global leadership.�?

“Yes, we are clear-eyed about the shortfalls of our international system,�? the president told graduating cadets. “But America has not succeeded by stepping outside the currents of international cooperation. We have succeeded by steering those currents in the direction of liberty and justice – so nations thrive by meeting their responsibilities, and face consequences when they don’t.�?

Mr. Obama said the United States “will be steadfast in strengthening those old alliances that have served us so well�? while also trying to “build new partnerships and shape stronger international standards and institutions.�? He added: “This engagement is not an end in itself. The international order we seek is one that can resolve the challenges of our times.�?

Well, I have to say at least one good thing for Obama, after a while, and after tons of national outrage and criticism, he learned to place his hand over his heart during the playing of The National Anthem. Monkey see, monkey do?

And you have to admit, his handlers are getting much better at their jobs too. The red, white and blue business suit and tie is a really nice touch!

It’s taken well into the 2nd year of the Obama debacle to get this America hating cretin to even place his hand on his heart. That’s something that American children are raised knowing.

You stand, remove your hat or cap and place your hand over your heart during a presentation of *The Colors* and the playing of The Star Spangled Banner.

I say American children because I am one of those that believes Barack Hussein Obama, aka: Barry Soetoro, is NOT an American. Not by birth or by naturalization. I believe him to be a Muslim, albeit a stealth Muslim. I believe him to be set fully against the United States of America and I believe that he wishes to see this nation placed under dictatorial rule, with him as the dictator, and some form of Sharia Law being the law of the land as he personally tears up the United States Constitution and throws the pieces to the wind!

I personally believe that Barack Hussein Obama is a traitor to this nation, in every sense of the word. The recent display of anti-Americanism, by him, Attorney General Eric Holder, Secretary Janet Napolitano and members of Congress, as they stood and applauded a foreign president bash American laws, stands in testament to those beliefs!

Suicide bombers kill 37 in Moscow’s subway

MOSCOW - Two female suicide bombers blew themselves up on Moscow’s subway system as it was jam-packed with rush-hour passengers Monday, killing at least 37 people, officials said.

Witnesses described panic at two stations, with commuters falling over each other in dense smoke and dust as they tried to escape the worst attack on the Russian capital in six years.

The head of Russia’s main security agency said preliminary investigation places the blame on rebels from the restive Caucasus region that includes Chechnya, where separatists have fought Russian forces since the mid-1990s. Alexander Bortnikov, head of the FSB, told President Dmitry Medvedev the bombs were filled with bolts and iron rods.

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, who built much of his political capital by directing a fierce war with Chechen separatists a decade ago, vowed that “terrorists will be destroyed.”

Russia is thought to be one of the two most repressive, security conscious nations on earth. This 1st blast was beneath the headquarters of the FSB, that’s the NEW name for the KGB for those not in the know. Talk about taking a stab at the heart of the matter!

In the wake of the explosions, New York’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority announced a “heightened security presence,” NBC News reported.

Isn’t that a bit like closing the barn door after the horse is out?

We’re NOT a repressive society. We are America, the land of the FREE and the home of Political Correctness. That said, tell me exactly HOW the NYC transportation people are going to spot, and stop, potential suicide bombers in the New York subway system?

Can they stop anyone that looks like an Arab? No, that won’t work, it’s not PC. Can they ask anyone that looks Arab, ‘say, are YOU a Muslim terrorist?’ No, that won’t work either, religious freedom being all that it is. How about this? Stop all women dressed in burkas and strip search them? Uh, no, I’m sure there’s a sexist approach in that suggestion, not to mention profiling and at least some sort of religious persecution.

All that personal and religious freedom that we enjoy here in the good old USA is tough pill to swallow when American lives are in danger huh? I guess that’s what we get for being the melting pot of the world. People can wear their native dress and have a right not to be questioned about it.

But let’s face facts. Our soldiers are being forced to fight a politically correct war in Afghanistan. I can’t see how that could be an event that is even possible, but it’s a reality that IS happening, and it’s getting American troops killed.

Our Muslim loving president has said that WE are not at war with Islam, yet Islamic warriors are the ones committing these attacks, in Russia, and other parts of the world. But our Muslim loving president doesn’t want to offend his TRUE faith, Islam.

So, there is no way that we in the USA can defend against terror attacks, not without going against the wishes of Barry Soetoro, aka; Barack Hussein Obama. An individual that is believed by many to actually BE a Muslim, and a sympathizer to Muslims causes and acts of violence as well as a radical takeover of this nation.

Again, let’s face facts. Enforcement is arbitrary on the Federal level. It’s OK to arrest a group of Christian militia members that present a threat, but NO NO NO, don’t go after a Muslim group, we might offend Barry Soetoro’s homies!

WASHINGTON (AP) - Nine suspects tied to a Christian militia in the Midwest are charged with conspiring to kill police officers, then attack a funeral in the hopes of killing more law enforcement people, federal prosecutors said Monday.

Members of the group called Hutaree are charged in the case, including their leader, David Brian Stone.

Once other officers gathered for the slain officer’s funeral, the group planned to detonate homemade bombs at the funeral, killing more, according to newly unsealed court papers. SOURCE

France frees yacht; hostage killed

PARIS - France’s navy stormed a French sailboat held by pirates off the Somali coast Friday in an assault triggered by threats the passengers would be executed, but one hostage was killed in the operation, French Defense Minister Herve Morin said.

Two pirates also were killed. Four hostages, including a small child, were freed.

In a break with French government policy, authorities proposed a ransom but the pirates rejected the offer, Morin said. Three pirates were taken prisoner.

A grim-faced Morin said that “negotiations were leading nowhere, and the boat was approaching the coast.” He said French President Nicolas Sarkozy gave the order to attack.

OK, so I am going to say something I never would have imagined me saying, KUDOS to the French for their courage and tactics, and for their ability to take this pirate crew down and save most of the hostages. For far too long we have criticized the French, called them *surrender monkeys* and so forth. It now appears that the French government may well have more intestinal fortitude than our own government.

We’re talking 4 pirates, out of food, out of gas and probably short, or out of water, looking down the guns of a U.S. Navy destroyer. Excuse me, but we have highly trained individuals that are supposed to be the very best in the world at resolving these types of situations. Those individuals are the U.S. Navy SEALs. Why in the hell have they not been given orders to take this 4 man pirate band down? I am fairly certain that 4 SEALs on the railing of a Navy destroyer, after dark, with night vision sight acquisition gear could take out all 4 pirates in less than a second.

For crying out loud, 4 Somali bilge rats are standing off the U.S. Navy. Obama and Company are making us the laughing stock of the world.

He can’t respond just yet. He has to decide how many billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars we’re going to send to Somalia, and then there’s that other decision that has to be made. You know the one, right? Do we surrender the Navy Destroyer to these pirates too?

I am not criticizing our Navy personnel, our military can and will DO the job, but they have to have a Commander in Chief that has the balls to lead and allow them to DO the job. We do NOT have that CiC in one Barry Soetoro, aka, Barack Hussein Obama.
