Obama makes clear support for ground zero mosque

WASHINGTON (AP) - After skirting the controversy for weeks, President Barack Obama is weighing in forcefully on the mosque near ground zero, saying a nation built on religious freedom must allow it.

“As a citizen, and as president, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as everyone else in this country,” Obama told an intently listening crowd gathered at the White House Friday evening to observe the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.

“That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances,” he said. “This is America, and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakable.”

Is there ANY doubt where the loyalties of Barack Hussein Obama lie?

Many of us have accused him of being a ‘stealth Muslim’ since long before the presidential race of 2008. We didn’t, or, more precisely, I didn’t attack him for being half Black and half White, that is something he had NO control over. I did address the fact that I believe him to not be what he claims to be, a Christian. And for that questioning of Obama’s true religious belief, I have been called a vile racist.

I also happen to be one that believes Obama to be a non-citizen, but that’s another matter.

The White House had not previously taken a stand on the mosque, which would be part of a $100 million Islamic community center two blocks from where nearly 3,000 people perished when hijacked jetliners slammed into the World Trade Center towers on Sept. 11, 2001. Press secretary Robert Gibbs had insisted it was a local matter.

Robert Gibbs, as big a PC, Casper Milquetoast moonbat as I believe him to be, is right in this instance. It is a local matter. Why then, if he is NOT a Muslim himself, does Barack Hussein Obama feel the need to weigh in on this matter? Is he pandering the Muslims for votes and support? Is he that desperate?

I know his approval among GOP members is non-existent, I know his approval is rapidly falling within his Democratic party. Is Barack Hussein Obama so desperate for some sort of vindication, some kind of support, that he would openly ingratiate himself to Islam?

Anyone that doesn’t believe that Barack Hussein Obama isn’t in the pocket of Islam needs to read this: America’s Rich Muslim Heritage.

Obama is a terribly confused individual where American history and heritage are concerned.

Obama elevated it to a presidential issue Friday without equivocation.

While insisting that the place where the twin towers once stood was indeed “hallowed ground,” Obama said that the proper way to honor it was to apply American values.

Apply American values? I have said on this blog before, it’s a good thing that people like Obama were not in power in 1941. We’d ALL be speaking Japanese right about now if they had been.

If Obama’s idea of the application of American values is any indicator, I have to believe that he would support the building of a Japanese temple at Pearl Harbor!

Do you want further proof that Barack Hussein Obama is a fool?

Harkening back to earlier times when the building of synagogues or Catholic churches also met with opposition, Obama said: “Time and again, the American people have demonstrated that we can work through these issues, and stay true to our core values and emerge stronger for it. So it must be and will be today.”

Apparently Obama is under the belief that the Jews and Catholics attacked America. That is the only way I could possibly see him justifying his remark. This isn’t about prejudice, the type exhibited by The Klan, and I am certain that their beliefs and practices are what Obama is using as his rationale.

Obama: “U.S. one of largest Muslim countries”

JERUSALEM – The number of Muslims in the U.S. would make America “one of the largest Muslim countries in the world,” claimed President Obama in an interview released last night.

His assertion, which is factually inaccurate, comes one day before he is set to deliver a much-anticipated address to the Muslim world from Cairo, Egypt.

I am often quite skittish about using WND as a source, they have, on occasion, posted articles that have blown up in their faces and have had no citation other than the word of a person with an axe to grind. I don’t feel that this is one of those occasions, and I intend to offer my own citation from past posts.

Barry Soetoro, aka: Barack Hussein Obama, the poser that claims to be the president of this USA, is a LIAR. He is, in all fact, a Muslim, words spoken from his mouth, HIS words, not mine.

Obama, speaking to ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on “This Week,�? was talking about what he described as “smears�? that were claiming he was a Muslim when he maintains he is a practicing Christian.

“Let’s not play games,�? Obama stated. “What I was suggesting – you’re absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith. And you’re absolutely right that that has not come.�? SOURCE: Obama slips on TV: ‘My Muslim faith’

I tried, on numerous occasions, to point this out to my readers, and to the Conservative blog world, Obama is NOT what he claims to be. He may also not even be a legitimate POTUS due to citizenship concerns, but that’s another subject for later. Today it’s all about Obama and his LIES to the American people. I don’t believe the voters of this nation, even the Democrats, would have embraced Obama as they did had he come out SO pro Muslim during the election process.

Urging a greater partnership with the Islamic world in an address to the Turkish parliament, Obama called the country an important ally in many areas, including the fight against terrorism. He devoted much of his speech to urging a greater bond between Americans and Muslims, portraying terrorist groups such as al-Qaida as extremists who do not represent the vast majority of Muslims. Obama has been, almost from the moment he was elected, kissing the asses of our enemies, extending a hand in *friendship* to those that I am firmly convinced that he, Obama, believes to be his Muslim brothers. This next piece is one of the most disgusting things I have ever read.

Is Obama a coward or is he just trying to protect his true allegiance? That allegiance being Islam! As I said in the commentary of that post, “You know, I actually agree with Obama, we really DO need to reach out to the Taliban. Some Springfield M1A’s and Barrett .50’s will reach right out there and kill the sons a bitches really really DEAD! THAT is how we reach out to the Taliban! I don’t think that’s what Obama has in mind though.”

We see stories like this, NYT: Taliban may be acquiring U.S. arms and Obama’s Secretary of Homeland Security calls us *domestic terrorists* and denigrates our veterans returning from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan in doing so. We are informed that Scholars Plan U.S. First Four-Year Islamic College, a college that will, I am firmly convinced, if allowed to come to fruition, would be nothing more than a finishing school for the warriors of Islam that DO plan on taking America down, and those people are being ignored by Obama, at least, ignore as far as going after them, and again, I believe that is because the true intent, the MISSION that Obama is on, is one that ends with this nation going down in flames at the hands of an Islamic jihad!

Obama Sides with the Palestinians against Israel, Obama reiterates call for Israel to halt West Bank settlement activity, turning against an ally of this nation and pretty much throwing them, Israel, to the wolves.

We can’t stand too much more America. Our finances are a wreck, and with every passing day the Obama administration gives away as much of OUR money as they possibly can. The Obama administration turns it’s back on Americans and sides with radical Islam, and let’s be honest here, there is no other kind of Islam other than RADICAL! Obama all but abandons Israel and extends a hand to Muslim leaders, and then there’s this: Obama Invites Iranian Officials to 4th of July Parties. Yeah, that’s the ticket, invite em for some hot dogs, burgers and beer. One big ol’ group hug and we can all be friends again.

I, and many others, tried to tell you America, we talked and posted until we were blue in the face, we told you that Barack Hussein Obama is a *stealth* Muslim and that his real intent was to bring this nation down. We were called racists and anti-Obama bloggers. Not too many listened, many did nothing more than call names.
