WHILE campaigning in public for a speedy withdrawal of US troops from Iraq, Sen. Barack Obama has tried in private to persuade Iraqi leaders to delay an agreement on a draw-down of the American military presence.
According to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Obama made his demand for delay a key theme of his discussions with Iraqi leaders in Baghdad in July.
“He asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after the US elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington,” Zebari said in an interview.
Obama insisted that Congress should be involved in negotiations on the status of US troops - and that it was in the interests of both sides not to have an agreement negotiated by the Bush administration in its “state of weakness and political confusion.”
“However, as an Iraqi, I prefer to have a security agreement that regulates the activities of foreign troops, rather than keeping the matter open.” Zebari says.
Though Obama claims the US presence is “illegal,” he suddenly remembered that Americans troops were in Iraq within the legal framework of a UN mandate. His advice was that, rather than reach an accord with the “weakened Bush administration,” Iraq should seek an extension of the UN mandate.

Obama talks out of both sides of his mouth, at the same time, and neither side speaks anything that can be believed. Obama cares about a few things, 1st and foremost is OBAMA and getting to the Oval Office. 2nd, his vow to stand by Islam. 3rd, his secret desire to turn America into a socialist haven, headed by him and run under sharia law.
Our troops, the American people and this nation are nothing more than a stepping stone for Barack Hussein Obama, he wants to change America alright, and if we live through that change, we won’t recognize what’s left…

I do not support Obama nor do I support McCain. I have not been talking for over 18 months about my dislike for McCain only to change my mind, throw my morals, my views out the window because McCain picked someone with Tits.
To me Sarah Palin is nothing more than Amy Proctor, Gayle, Dee or even the SACS, a Bush-Bot with a gun. She will bring another 4 years of Bush, someone that I have spoken out against for over 7 years.
It really comes down to this, if you’re happy with open borders, the war in Iraq, not going after the people that attacked us on 911, the Economy, than McCain-Palin is your ticket, they are not mine.
I’m still open and I will wait and see, period.
I will not be voting for Biden or Palin, I will be voting for President, Obama or McCain. Non of the above looks better and better to me.

I don’t think you heard Fred or Myself singing Bush praises but I think the big picture needs to be grasped.
First GWB inherited 9-11 it was carried out on his watch but the plan was hatched during Clinton. The military was in a weakened state and 9-11-2001 was a PERFECT time to attack.
GWB did do a good job of protecting the homeland as is evident by the amount of attacks since 9-11-2001.
